We had a great stay even if the weather was not good for us. Room was wonderful and beautiful. The only set back was the rental place closed at 5pm and I locked us out of our room at 6:30pm. When I called the "emergency" number then man was very rude and hateful. I hated it for him as much as I hated it for my children, I was sick to my stomach and then he kept repeating to me that I was going to have to pay him $50.00 cash I needed to have it when he got there. I guess to him it was more important to get my money then it was to unlock my door.

Our trip was overall an amazingly serene, relaxing getaway. Our entire family enjoyed this home. Our check in could not have been handled better from the time we booked in the Spring until check in. The location is impecable, and the home was decorated so perfectly. Our only complaint was the lack of attention by the cleaning crew before our arrival to the trash, food and personal items left inside drawers, under beds & tables and in the closets by the previous renter. Overall cleanliness of the bathroom, kitchen and beds and main living area was to our satisfaction. This unit was the next best thing to Beach Front@ a Beach View rate!

Construction crews should not take up the covered parking areas with their vehicles. The individual with the golf cart basically has a reserved space. This should not be allowed. Overall the property is well maintained and we would recommend to others.

We have stayed at Pelican's Watch for quite a few years. Obviously, we like it there! We have always been treated well, the staff has been friendly and helpful. We love the location it is soooo close to so much.
We have stayed in this condo several times and this time the kitchen did not seem to be as well equipped as in the past.
My only concern is I believe the condos could be a bit cleaner. We look forward to many more years at Pelican's Watch.
PS
We almost had the misfortune of needing another parking place and I truly believe that $100 for a week is extremely high especially when there are lots of unused spaces. Luckily we did not need the space. -

We have stayed at the Pelicans Watch and Pelicans Landing at least once a year for the last 15 years. This condo was the best by far. The decor, ocean view, and amnities were excellent. This condo was very up to date, the furniture was better than some of the pieces in my own home. The upkeep was excellent. You can tell that the owner takes pride in their property. I wrote this condo number down and plan on asking for it in the future.

This was our 7th trip to Myrtle Beach and the 1st for our parents. The Shore Drive area is our absolute favorite place to stay.
Pelican's Watch was a beautiful condo and exceptionally clean (hurricane Ike had just passed through).
This was our 1st stay in September and found the weather still warm and just enough people to make the atmosphere feastive without the July & August mobs. (Not waiting hours at area dining establishments is a hugh plus).
We highly recommend MB as a family vacation get-away.
