My husband and I really enjoyed this condo as it was clean, comfortable and had a homey atmosphere to it. Loved the king size bed, although I think it needs a better firmier mattress. Each room was nicely decorated and tastefully done. This was our 3rd. time staying at Myrtle Beach Vacation Resort and this one was our best room. We like this location as there is something to see and do each day and it is centrally located to near by attractions. We are planning on comming back next year.

The location of the resort and the offerings were good. However the unit we rented was very disappointing. The cleanliness was poor. I had to pick food up off the floors from under couches and tables upon arrival. It disgusted me. The entire unit needs updating. The floors, carpet, kitchen and bathrooms are outdated and run down. The smell upon entering the unit was musty. I was very disappointed that I spent my first day of vacation cleaning and trying to get rid of the smell. The moderate ocean view was ridiculous. To call the balcony as any such view was misleading. It would have been appreciated if we were recommended a better ocean view since that was a must that I made known upon booking our reservation.

We have rented for the past four years and have enjoyed the units and the complex. The only complaints we have is the lack of Barbecue facilities (should be propane) and the loud partying during March break.
Is there a standard that the persons renting must maintain for their units.Ie: stoves-broken, windows -seals gone and overall outdated furnishings?.
