I chose to come to Myrtle Beach Resort since I wanted a no-surprises long weekend. My parents were one of the original unit owners and we had many fun times visiting them. The resort was pretty much the same, with some added amenities and it was just what I was looking for -- a comfortable, familiar place to relax. Next time, if I go in-season, I will probably not stay ocean front. Though I love the close view and sounds of the ocean, I like to get to sleep early and the low ocean front location was loud with fireworks and the beach bar til after 11. If you like to stay up later than me, it would be perfect. But next time, I'll go up higher in the tower or on the side of the tower, or building a or B. Still a wonderful place and nicely maintained!

Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The room was clean and comfortable. I would return, however, I found parking to be a challenge, also the music from the nearby Quarterdeck was too loud and did not stop on time. The rule of no fireworks was not enforced, making a good nights rest nearly impossible.
