Very courteous and friendly people, clean room and great views. I can only say one bad thing I wish the Wi Fi worked no matter where in the building I went it didnt work.
Other than no computer I give this place a 10!

WVGreat beach vacation-not a great room

My husband and I decided to take our 3 year old and nine month old to the beach for the first time. We were all excited. We booked a room with a moderate ocean view with one bed (we were going to let our 3 year old sleep with us because he needs bed rails for his bed to ensure he doesn't fall out and we were not going to bring them on vacation) and a kitchen and living area with a sleeper sofa. The room we booked was an updated room, which was important to us because the resort specifically stared not all rooms were updated. After a 9 hour drive we arrived before check in time. Our room was ready and we were allowed early check in. The staff informed us the original room we booked wasn't available due to an extended stay of another customer and we had been upgraded to an ocean view but were told the room was the same, which sounded good. When we got to the room the view was spectacular, the room was not. The deco was from 1982 and was outdated and dirty too. 90% of the room had old faded dingy wallpaper. The small area that was painted was covered in black marks from doors, luggage, and people scuffing the walls. It needed painted desperately. The white baseboards had years of dust, grime and dirt. The bathtub needed a good scrubbing as did the microwave, neither of which had been properly cleaned in awhile.The comforter on the bed was covered in lint balls and was so thin as to be nearly transparent. We had dirty towels and a broken deck chair. The cleanliness of the room was completely lacking to the point that our nine month old never touched the dirty floor or anything else. Also, on the first night kids were racing with the luggage racks and waking us up-frightfully so as it was so loud. The room was a disappointment but more so when we realized the room we originally booked was updated. The amenities were great-pool and play areas for kids. Umbrella rentals, great location. We had a great time despite the dirty outdated room. We made the most out of it.

We stayed two weeks and found our unit very suitable. It was well equipped. The office staff was very helpful and polient. We were amazed your mainanence people kept it so tidy and we felt very safe. Our only negitive comment would be a poor selection and quality of frying pans. We would have appreciated better chairs on the deck and chairs for the high table that was out there.

The room and resort was very nice. The only downside was the fact that it was little further away from Myrtle Beach and the Boardwalk. Other than that they facility and staff was very nice. We had a wonderful view of the pond and ocean from our room.

All and all, our stay was great, Unit very clean with all the necessary items neeeded to be comfortable. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Service was good. Defective phone was replaced immediately. Very pleased with the security and attention paid to cleaning and upkeep of the grounds and buildings. Employees are always courteous and helpful. Our only complaint was with the mattress on the bed, it seemed to sag in the middle, was not comfortable. Perhaps there should be a few more handicapped parking spaces. Great vacation site.

We stayed in 404B for 2 months and the condo was terrible. We had 3 full sheets w/ items needed to be fixed/replaced starting w/ toilet seat !!! Too bad Myrtle Beach Resorts does not have standards or view properties individually before renting them. We have talked w/ several first time rentals w/ similar experiences. We are now renting B402 from a private owner and wow, what a welcomed difference!!! The funny thing is that we encountered a workman yesterday doing work/maintenance in 404B and assured him he had job security w/ that one !!! I thought we deserved a break on B404's steep rental fee...
