What Past Guests Are Saying
Beautiful property, wonderful hosts!
We are a family of four and stayed at Tranquility in august this year, this is our second time to the island of Gozo and we are already planning the third! This property is by far one of the nicest places we have ever stayed, both Peter and Toni were equally as welcoming.
Our flight was at an awkward time meaning that it would be 4am when we reached the property, even with this early arrival Peter was so welcoming, he showed us around so we knew where everything was.
Everything that we needed for breakfast was already there bread, milk, juice, fruit, a welcome touch with such an awkward arrival time.
The pool area had the benefit of sunshine throughout the day, the water was perfect and Peter was meticulous with keeping the water clean, he would do all this in the early hours of the morning and the only way that I knew he had been was by means of a note. I say this as I know other reviews mention Peter & Toni live across the road, which is great - I know some might have reservations about this but you definitely shouldn't, they were not at all imposing, it is the Gozitan way, such a laid back relaxing island, this is because of the people, warm people like Peter & Toni.
The property itself was great, spotlessly clean, and all of the things you might need for a home away from home, coffee maker, toaster, etc.
The pictures do not do the property justice, it is very spacious and would easily accommodate a larger group, there are sea views from the balcony and is set on a very quiet street 5 mins walking distance from the centre of Nadur, Ramla beach is also only 5/10 mins by car.
We really enjoyed our time here, we were sad to have to go, but we left knowing we would be back in a years time.
I would certainly recommend this property to family & friends.
Thank you to Peter & Toni for providing us with such a warm welcome and beautiful property to make some magical memories.
Heaven on earth.
This is a very clean, well equipped, farmhouse, all the furniture is very well made and sturdy, it has four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2ensuite, it also has a ground floor toilet, the kitchen is well equipped and it has a bbq by the crystal clear pool,we have just spent a week there and we were well cared for by the lovely Peter and Toni, they live close by and nothing is too much trouble for them, the farmhouse has lovely cool breezes flowing through it, of course there are mosquito nets so you can open up the windows and enjoy the lovely fresh air, Nadur has alot of lovely little shops and restaurants close by so no need to stray far if you just want to chill out and relax, and finally the peace and "tranquility" you just cant beat it, one of the nicest places we've ever stayed at, will definately be booking again next year!!!

Relax in comfort!
Just had two enjoyable weeks of family holiday staying in Tranquility Farmhouse in Nadur, a splendidly spacious and well-appointed house accommodating up to 8 in comfort. It was built quite recently by Peter and Toni-Ann Muscat who live across the road with their family, and who manage the property themselves. They were very easy to communicate with in advance, and already made extra helpful provisions for us prior to arrival, when we received their very warm and good-humoured welcome to Gozo. Also they responded promptly to our suggestions for some extra pieces of kitchen and domestic gear. Most usefully, they fixed transport in both directions from/to the Valetta airport, including the ferry crossing to Gozo, and considering the inevitable pressure of traffic into Valetta, it was well worth having someone else doing the navigating. In addition, they contacted a car hire company in Nadur, who gave a good rate, and it all worked very smoothly. Although Gozo is quite small, and has good bus services between the towns, which all have essential shopping readily available usually within walking distance, the car was really useful to get to the out of the way places that have the real Gozitan character. This being mid-May we coincided with the 'Notte Gozitana' Festival in Victoria, with a weekend of all sorts of music, art, tasty stalls, and characteristically general friendliness, much of the activity being based around the famous Citadel. Don't miss its archaeological Museum - unique cultures thrived on Gozo for millennia before Stonehenge. And we often had the sea shore or magnificent cliff walks virtually to ourselves. It's easy to take an evening out for a meal, eg several good restaurants in the main square of nearby Zaghra (pronounced Sharah), close to the great historic temple site of Ggantija. Diving is big business here, and the boat trip around Comino is a real highlight. Great fun exploring Gozo, and great support from Peter and Toni-Ann.
