My husband and I rented the apartmemt in Sept. and were thrilled with it. The unit was immaculate and had all the conveniences and comforts of home. Nafplio is a beautiful town and very central for sightseeing. Ute met us and took us to the apt. which was easy to find .She is a lovely host and we would definately stay here again. She also had some great recomdations for day trips.

il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. la casa era perfetta, pulita, comoda accogliente e dotata di tutti i confort. sembrava di essere a casa propria. lo staff è stato molto cortese in tutto, anche dopo aver lasciato la casa, aiutandoci a risolvere un problema avuto con la nostra auto. ringraziamo di cuore e consigliamo vivamente questa struttura

location neuve situee a 10 min du centre ville et des plages en voiture. 2 chambres avec lits doubles tres confortables, une chambre avec 2 lits simples et un clic clac dans le salon. une salle de bain avec wc, une douche avec wc, une buanderie. le tout avec un climatisation dans chaque chambre et salon et une place de parking et terrasse tres agreable. que demander de plus? le wifi...deja fourni, la television...deja presente certes sans chaine fancaise mais on ne va pas a nauplie pour passer sa vie devant sa tele!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It is about a 10 minute drive from Nafplio, and 30 minutes to Mycenae or Epadavrou. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The air conditioning worked great too. The kitchen is super. It also has parking for two cars. My son enjoyed having wireless and the computer was very handy.

This is a welcoming, beautiful and well appointed apartment, in a lovely residential area, close enough to the fun in Nafplio, and in a great location for easy access to other nearby sites.The spacious apartment is immaculately kept, and has every modern convenience, all seemingly new. Even with a larger family, the apartment is plannedso that there is large open comfortable spaceto gather, but the bedrooms are separate enough for quiet and privacy. Every detail has been taken care of to make guests comfortable. None of this can capture the warmth of Ute's hospitality and kindness. My husband fell sick while we were visiting, and Ute went out of her way, quite literally, to be helpful. We can't say thank you enough and look forward greatly to our next visit!

wir waren sehr begeistert von der Ferienwohnung, sie war so wie auf der homepage beschrieben, Nafplion ist eine wunderbare Stadt und wenn dann noch die Ferienunterkunft stimmt, kann es nicht besser laufen. Uwe hat uns mit ihrer warmen und herzlichen art sehr gut betreut, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen wieder !

Our group of eight stayed at the apartment just outside Nafplio for seven nights.The house was very clean and comfortable, and our hostess Ute was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we we had everything we needed. I really miss being there and would love to come back to visit again!

My wife, 24 y/o daughter & I stayed at the house outside of Nafplio for a week. Everything was perfect. Ute met us as we drove in from athens, led us to the house & made sure everything was as expected (actually exceeded our expectations). It is a beautiful place - clean, bright, modern with a market within walking distance to stock the kitchen - exactly as promised & a great value. She helped us get oriented, provided sightseeing & restaurant suggestions & generally made us feel at home.
One funny story that illustrates what a great hostess Ute is - we expressed interest to Ute in the ingenious self-opening/closing trash container in the kitchen & where we might buy one to take home. Ute found out from Giannis where it might be available locally. She then drove to the house at 9pm, picked us up & took us around town in search of the elusive trash can (using her $10 per gallon gasoline in the process), all the while visiting with us about work, kids & life in our two countries. It was like an evening with a good friend, which we now consider her to be. And yes, thanks to Ute, we found the trash can, brought it home stuffed in our luggage & it now resides proudly under our sink, a unique Greek souvenir in our Colorado kitchen. Thank you, Ute!
It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful area. You certainly can't go wrong staying at Ute & Giannis' place! -

A first rate base to explore the area by car.Most of the well known sites are less than half an hours drive away, so you can get to them before the coach tours from athens arrive. Two things I particularly liked was that the apartment has screened windows so you can sleep with the window open and not get eaten alive and it is really quiet at night while only being minutes from all the bars and restaurants in Nafplio. In short, just about perfect.

My wife and I stayed here with friends and we all loved it. Ute is a wonderful hostess and welcomed us with breakfast at her pension in the heart of town. The apartment is outside town so parking and shopping are easy, as is driving access to the many surrounding historic areas. You need a car staying here. We strongly recommend Omorfi Poli.

We stayed at the Omorfi Poli for 6 nights in September.
Throughout Greece we have stayed at 11 different hotel/rental properties in all.
We were quite convinced we would rather stay right in town but our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids- boy 12, girl 16) were at a point where we desperately needed the space
.
From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this house and the price was a great deal too! As we were going through the rental property with Ute, my husband quietly whispered to me "are you sure that price quoted wasn't per night?".
First of all, to be fair, you need to have a car to stay here. It is located just outside of Nafplio in the village of aria, a small residential neighbourhood with nothing for tourists close by. However, it is only a 5-7 minute drive into town. Basically going down one road...very well travelled and well lit which makes it a breeze to get to and from, most important at nighttime.
As of September 2010 this place was only a few months old. It was beautifully decorated and Ute who also owns the Omorfi Poli in the town could not have been a more gracious host. She has thought of everything one could possible need, even thinking of things like a comprehensive first aid kit, detergent and drying rack for the laundry machine (I had so much laundry to do!), 2 sun umbrellas, extra books to read (I added one to the collection) and a collection of dvd movies in case someone got really bored (we never got to that point). Her attention to details is seen in her beautiful decorating down to the nightlights lighting up the hallway to the cup full of "refreshing towellettes" that we took with us whenever we'd go. To be honest, I still have a few in my purse which are a lovely reminder of our stay there...sigh...
The apartment, which really we should refer to as a house, is one of two homes in the building. One of her relatives lives on the top floor although their access and driveway seem to be on the opposite side so it was very private and we never saw anyone.
The first thing you see upon arrival is a beautiful terrace with a variety of fruit trees perfectly landscaped. We even ate a few of the grapes right off the vine. Mmmm so sweet. The driveway has room for one car. There are about a total of 8-10 easy wide steps to get into the home if mobility is an issue for you.
Once you enter there is a large livingroom complete with a big flat screen tv with full cable, fast internet modem and a beautiful fireplace should you travel in the winter. Attached is a dining area with table and 4 chairs and a full kitchen. This kitchen has everything you could think of needing. It also has a microwave and even a frappe machine.
There are two bathrooms in the house, both beautiful and inviting to be in. The first one has a nice big shower. The second bathroom is huge...and has a bathtub/shower combo, big vanity with lots of storage space and a laundry machine. If you are from the us keep in mind that EU laundry machines take a good 90mins to 2 hours to complete their cycle. I would suggest Ute maybe add written directions nearby as to how to use the laundry as it was a bit of a puzzle to figure out...but we did.
There are 3 bedrooms separated by a pocket door from the main living area.
The master is very large with queen size bed, tons of clean storage space (we actually emptied our suitcases for our stay), a small tv and a large picture window which was a pleasure to open up when we were there for afternoon siesta time. The view right now is of beautiful countryside but again to be fair, I do think that in the next couple years there will be houses continued to be built along the other side of the street blocking that view :(
Next is another bedroom with storage and queen bed and another bedroom with storage and 2 twin beds. In all, with the livingroom futon you could sleep 8.
Outside on another part of the terrace is a nice full patio set (not plastic-hurray!!) which we enjoyed using when hosting our greek relatives.
All linens and towels were provided and a storage room near the bathroom contained more linens and towels when needed. They were also extra garbage bags...again...everything you could think of...in the house.
Ute asked us when we wanted housekeeping and we agreed to a day mid-stay.
When I was looking up reviews on trip advisor I noticed a "complimentary breakfast coupon", which Ute happily honored. At first we thought we wouldn't bother driving into town for breakfast. We did the first day...and we were hooked. The breakfast is so fresh and plentiful and served to your table.
It was also a good thing to have to drive into town every morning for breakfast as we might have never left this beautiful apartment rental :)
A bit about Nafplio...it is our favorite place in Greece. The beautiful town of Nafplio has great shopping and restaurants as well as plenty of free parking so it's a breeze to visit. There are several great archealogical sites within 30 minutes drive. Karathona beach nearby is a wonderful sandy beach with warm water.
If you are looking for the perfect vacation rental and don't mind a bit of driving look no further. We hope to return to the Omrfi Poli holiday rental one day for a 2 or 3 week stay. Lastly I want to thank Ute for a great stay and for literally saving my sanity! -

In fact we booked two connecting rooms at the Omorfi Poli guesthouse in Nafplio itself. As Mrs Tsagaraki proposed us to switch towards the appartment, we doubted a lot - because we preferred to stay in Nafplio itself, instead of once more needing the car for everything.
After all we were very glad with the change, as we are with 5 (3 children) : the appartment is very big and nice, very well equipped, with a big terras, ... everything you need - for the price of the two rooms. We got one breakfast in Nafplio for free. It's located only 5 to 10 min from the centre by car. -

we had a very comfortable stay in our omorfi poli apartment, with its 2 bathrooms, fresh air, big living room. we did not use the terrace because we were out all the time but it is a very nice one.

My family and i just spent 3 nights at the apartment and found the whole experience a real pleasure. Firstly the Nafplio is such a lovely town and the apartment itself was great. They have thought about every small detail including what is needed in the kitchen for cooking. The place was also spotless and very comfortable and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend staying here if you are with your family. Mrs Ute was wonderful and made sure she met us in town to show us the unit even though it was a public holiday on the day we arrived.

The apartment was wonderful, well-appointed, clean, and very enjoyable with all the comforts of home. Mrs. Ute Tsagaraki was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay, even coming out in the middle of the night to bring us some first aid supplies after my husband had a fall while sight seeing and hurt his arm. Would recommend highly and we hope to stay again next time we visit Greece.

we are travelling with two boys of 15 and 13... this makes it difficult and expensive. The apartment from omorfi poli was excellent to solve this (probably a bit too big for us, we could have been with 8 fitting comfortably).
The place is super clean, super equiped. Ute is incredibly helpful and friendly. The view from the terrace is great. only drawback is that you *do need* a car because its quite far from town, so having too many mithos beers in a tavern is a no-no if you have to drive. But this fact was clearly stated in the website and we had a car so no problem. If I ever return to nafplio and I would need the space, I would certainly take the apartment. Otherwise I would stay in the B&B of Ute in town. In any case I remain an omorfi poli satisfied client
