The vacation experience overall was very good, and we would consider going back to the same location again. It is convenient to nearly everything in Nag's Head. The rental itself was clean, reasonably quiet given that the units were fully occupied, and furnished with obvious care. This first floor unit did not have an ocean view, which was a negative, and we had to keep curtains closed to avoid feeling like passers-by were looking in. It is right next to the beach path and pool. Otherwise, the only gripe about the unit itself is that the showers are in relatively poor condition with obvious mildew build-up, and there were no bathmats for the tile floors. Everything else was in excellent condition. We had no need to contact Resort Realty for service of any type. I would describe their staff as professional but distant and not particularly friendly. They seem quite busy. Nag's Head itself is well worth the trip once you get there (which is a bit of a hassle), not too crowded on the beaches, not as expensive as some other beach areas in the U.S., and a memorable experience.

This was the third vacation we booked through Resort Realty. Everything worked out perfectly. The Duld property had everything we needed for the week. It is well kept and a nice location. We will be booking soon for next year.

The service we had was excelent,the condo was clean and well equiped,close to all the attractions,the kitchen with the counter and stools was a big hit with the kids.We will be returning to the OBX in the near future and you can count on us contacting you.the only problem we had was the tv in the master bedroom did not work,I notified the office they suggested I call the maintenence people,I didn`t My wife and I don`t watch TV at nite.All and all the stay was all we wanted and more.Except for all the pet Misquitoes.

We were pleased with the condo (5733)in Diamond Shoals, the nice beach just yards from our condo, the nice restaurants, convenient shopping in the immediate area and the friendly, pleasant contacts we had with Resort Realty personnel. We own a home in Avalon, New Jersey and have rented it in summers past, so we are familiar with the summer experience from two points of view: 1) the family enjoying the pleasures of a beach vacation and 2)renting a vacation home to another family. We decided to do Nags Head this year as a wedding anniversary (55 yrs.) trip. We are glad we did, since we enjoyed it very much. The only hitch in our plans was the gridlock traffic on our way in on Saturday. We were in stop/start, bumper to bumper traffic for two hours, not an enjoyable experience. If we plan a trip in the future, we would seek a different schedule, perhaps Sun - Sun or even Mon - Mon, if such arrangements are possible. We welcome any feedback you might have re: the rental days. Thank you for a memorable week in a very nice resort town. Tom & Liz Ramsay

Our vacation home was emaculate, spacious, and had a close and convient location to the pool and beach.Our children were able to enjoy some freedom because of the location of the condo to the beach and pool and still have enough supervision. We enjoyed walking to a local restaurant each morning for breakfast and many long strolls on the beach after dinner. It was great to not have to jump in the car every time we needed something. The condo also provided us with enough space to give us all some quiet down time. It was a family vacation that will stay with us for many years to come.

The sevice that we received was excellent, very nice people to deal with. We really liked that this unit had an open kitchen into the dining and living area.We loved the granite counter tops. We also loved that this unit had a large screen tv. The only thing that I wished is that we could not see the ocean from our living area, we had to go out to the dune top deck. We loved that this was rigth off of the pool area. We also loved that this unit is a grond floor unit as far as getting things in and out of the vehicles, no stairs.
Over all we loved this unit, I would give this unit a 10 +++. -

The condo unit was right next to the beach access and pool, which made it easy to unload and leave your beach chairs & boards right there. The unit was very large and offered plenty of room for everyone

I've stayed at several Diamond Shoals condo's but this is both the first time I stayed at the DULD and the first time rented from Resort Realty and I was 100 % pleased with both. I do wish there had been a TV in the room with double beds though. I think the living room and ALL bedrooms shoould have one. I also would recommend posting numbers to call if there were power outages and cable outages. The cable went out Monday night 7/6/09 about 9:30 for the rest of the night and we didn't know who to call other than the Realtor's maintenance and we didn't get a returned call until the next day.
We love the location and I think it is the prettiest of all the ones there we have stayed at so far. I would stay there again and contact Resort Realty for rentals again. -

The keys were ready and we had no issues locating the unit. This location was excellent. The condo was well taken care of and many things looked brand new. The pool was clean and the beach was so close!
A few issues were the bathrooms were not cleaned when we arrived. We had to clean them ourselves and this is disappointing. Secondly, the queen size bed is horrible in the second bedroom! I would get a new mattress. The springs are coming through.
