You'll find everything for a fabulous OBX vacation right at "Tipsy Turtle". There's a private pool with an extended sunbathing area, hot tub, backyard volleyball court, ocean views, and easy beach access.
With 3 spacious levels, there's plenty of room for the family to gather — or enjoy separate activities — with gathering areas on every level. The top-level has an open living/dining area with ocean views and TV. The mid-level has an additional living area with wet bar, mini-fridge, and TV. The lower level game room includes a pool table, card table, and TV. Start your day with coffee and sunrise from either of the 2 levels of expansive decks on the front. Walk or ride bikes for miles on the Nags Head multi-use path right outside the doorstep. Explore all the Outer Banks has to offer from this central Nags Head location. The Nags Head Fishing Pier, restaurants, shopping, and Jockeys Ridge State Park are all a short walk away. After an amazing day on the beach, stroll to the seafood market. The chef in the family will appreciate the 2 outdoor grills; 1 charcoal and 1 gas. Then lean back in comfy deck chairs or unwind in the hot tub while you breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the panoramic sunset views from the back deck.

Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Hot tubs are available from year-round. Fireplaces seen in photos are non-functioning and not available for use. This property provides a $250 credit toward beach gear delivered to your rental property. *Delivery fees may apply.* Offer only good for full weeks booked with check-ins beginning between May 24, 2024 and September 1, 2024.
All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

“No Internet, television, or phone line. No refund offered”
The house was very nice, but neither the owner nor outer banks blue take any responsibility. I would recommend avoiding this company and rental if possible.

As we did when you were here for this short weekend stay in October, we again apologize for the cable television outtage that occurred at this property. This is a very nice property and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay other than the fact the cable was out for a time. We did contact the local cable television company regarding the outtage right away, but unfortunately they did not respond over the short stay you had at this property. The cable television service was indeed restored, and of course an outtage like this is beyond our control or the homeowner. Response from the manager Ms. Humphrey, Thank you for taking the time to submit a review on this property. We apologize that you feel your vacation was so impacted by the items that you outlined. As you know these properties are individually owned homes and sometimes maintenance items do arise. We are glad that we were able to come to the property within 3 hours of each call that you made and rectify the water heater issue (reset the breaker), and the lights in the carport (replaced burned out bulb). The water heater was reported to us on the morning after your arrival (Sunday) and we thought it was resolved the same day, we heard nothing else from you about this matter so we thought it was resolved. In terms of the light bulb being burned out was reported on the Thursday of your stay and was resolved that same day as well as the blender that that your group advised had stopped working which was replaced the same day. Again we are happy to resolve any matter that we are made aware of, but frankly this is a beautiful home that is very well maintained, and we just don't follow the mindset of being entitled to a refund for previously unknown matters that are resolved within hours of you reporting them. We hope you find better accommodations in your future stays as you are aware that you left this property in extremely poor condition upon your departure and we do not wish to rent to you again. Best of luck in your future vacation stays.

The house has plenty of plates, utensils and pots and pans. It is close to the beach and near shopping, restaurants and thr Brew Thru. The pool was well maintained.
