What a wonderful home! It had everything you could want in a home away from home and more. We really enjoyed the hot tub, it was a little too cool for the pool. It is in a very convenient location, we walked to the beach each day, dinner and breakfast one day as well as several walking trips to Food Lion. We would definitely stay at this home again and recommend to anyone who asks. The ease of renting through Seaside helped to complete the great experience. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The house we rented was beautiful, clean and great pool and hot tub! We have been coming down to the outer banks for several years and can honesty say this was the best House we rented and was a great experience for our friends first time there. Kids had a blast as well as us adults. Great location close to the beach and the stores. Had an amazing time!

After staying at Splash and Go for the last two years, it literally felt like returning "home". My family and I are so comfortable here that it gets harder and harder to leave at the end of our vacation. The owners take such pride in ownership and that shows at every turn. They made some cosmetic upgrades to the house that were lovely and homey. The home itself is conveniently located to everything including the beach. We spent a lot of time at the beautiful backyard pool during the days and evenings. I can't say enough good about this lovely gem!

This home was spacious and bright with all the amenities we needed for our 1 and 3 year-old boys. The house had baby gates, a walker and even a very comfortable rocking chair in one of the bedrooms. The pool, hot-tub, and games room were well-loved by all of us. We were in awe of the service that this vacation company provided as well. Our outdoor shower was totally non-functional so we called to have it repaired after-hours on a Saturday evening. While I was at it, I asked if a kettle was supposed to be provided in the unit (I couldn't find one for tea, etc). First thing Sunday morning, the shower was fixed and the housekeeping manager dropped off a brand-new kettle to us. The pool and hot-tub were immaculate and were serviced at least twice during our 9 day stay. The place was less than a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous beach so this was a perfect vacation! Would definitely recommend this home and this rental company.

We were able to get away for a week in the fall. Fall is a great time to visit the OBX because of the cooler, but still sunny weather. The crowds are diminished, the souvenirs are on sale, and the beaches are empty. We enjoyed a reduced off-season rate and a location in the center of everything. We enjoyed Jockeys' Ridge State Park (free), the beach (free) and the two local coffee roasters (reasonably priced) all within 5 minutes' walk or drive. We also took in an educational day at Roanoke Island (very reasonable price) and the Bodie Island Lighthouse (free).
While the pool was a little cold, the hot tub quickly took that chill off. The kids (we have 4) all enjoyed having a game room on the lower level to spread out their game of Monopoly and work on it slowly throughout the week. The upstairs rooms gave the kids a floor of their own and the downstairs suite made our get-away complete.
We loved the decks, the screened porch, the great family dining table and the multiple Tv's. All in all it was a great time together as a family and we would definitely do it again. (Note: This was our 2nd time to stay in OBX and our 1st to stay in Nags' Head.)Response from Seaside Vacations* - 10/28/2011

The house was not very clean. The room our children slept in had male underwear under the bed along with condom wtappers. We called about more than broken item - the futon in the loft and a broken kitchen table chair. We also asked for a vacuum cleaner, which we were told we would get but never arrived. We have always vacationed with Sun Realty in the past and will be in the future.

Home was clean and very comfortable. Loved the keyless entry option. Would have been so helpful to have some type of user notebook with info such as TV channels, how to operate the remote controland the Vcr-how to access internet access(found the CD the night before we left),etc. Couldn't locate a broom. Loved and appreciated all the thoughtful items such as beach items, books, movies etc. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The house and the location is great! The amenities are good and the house is clean and comfortable. We only had two problems the entire stay.
- The first was that the pool was not cleaned and ready when we arrived and we had to wait an additional day before it was ready. While we did stay during preseason, they knew we were coming, so getting the pool ready should not have been that hard to do.
- The second problem was that the kitchen had ants. There were not very many of them, but there were some and they did get into the food if it was left out. But this was localized only to the kitchen - no ants anywhere else in the house.
Otherwise everything was top shape. This was a decent beach house and we would probably stay there again.Response from Seaside Vacations* - 05/20/2011
