This home was perfect for a family of four to spread and enjoy togetherness. We used every inch of this house - playing games, having dinner together at the big table, splashing in the spa, and just relaxing in the living room or on the deck.
The location was ideal for access to Manteo, the southern lighthouses, the outlets, the beach, and much more. Sooo peaceful and the private road allowed us to practice bike riding each day!
This house was easy to spot from afar because it has a crow's nest and is red - so we never lost our way back home. We look forward to coming back next year :) -

The house had plenty of room for five adults and our two dogs. Check in and check out took no time at all. The hot tub stopped working during our stay and there was a repairman there the next day to fit it. The decks offer great views, especially the rooftop level. My family and I enjoyed the home and will probably stay there in thr future.

Overall, a nice experience. House is a short walk (across an unbusy road) to the beach. The outside, enclosed shower was great to have, and the grills too. Our favorite "extra" of the house was the excellent wi-fi; we really expected to have spotty network, but it was super. Now for the not so great aspects. The pictures posted of the house made it seem way larger than it actually is, particular on level 2 where 3 bedrooms are tightly clustered. The "master bedroom" is among these 3 BRs on level 2, but its bathroom is by far the worst and smallest of the house. Zero counterspace and just a shower stall. The upper level with kitchen and main living space has a bedroom and bath that are considerably more spacious and modern -- jetted tub & shower, plus large counter. The kitchen was relatively well equipped, but they aren't kidding when they say you must bring lots of supplies -- no dishsoap or kitchen sponge or decent oven mitts.
We chose the house primarily for its location, wi-fi, and allowance of dogs, and on balance I would still recommend it fairly highly. Just don't expect a lot of space or modernity beyond the wi-fi. It officially sleeps 8, but it can be very claustrophobic beyond 5 or 6. -

We stayed with our 2 dogs and had a terrific time! The house was clean and well-equipped, but a few things were dated. We loved the outside decks and proximity to the beach, but the biting bugs were awful. Wish we'd known that ahead of time. Upstairs television didn't work and even maintenance couldn't fix it. We were without tv for 2 days, including Sunday football. Aside from that, house was great!

Service was good, professional and timely. The home was at best, OK...we were a little dissapointed with the back yard (lots of cactus!!)Did not really care for the swamp in front of house (mosquitoes in abundance) but...loved the overall location. The beach in near the house was being worked on most of the time, but nice . I think next time we will research our house a bit more, but will stay with Resort Realty!!
