Had a great vacation at avalon. Had one issue about the upper deck railing being shakey, called my concerns in to the office and to my knowledge no one ever came out to check the problem. Lots of beach, not crowded at all, had a blast.

This was out sixth year at this location. Each has been a two week stay. We found that one week on the Outer Banks just wasn't long enough to completely relax. The location is just 300 feet from the ocean, but is not ocean front yet, but mother nature is working on that. Thew house has two great decks. One in the sun all dat and one that is covered. We will return in 2011. Thank you for a great stay.

We didn't have good weather and the ocean was very cold for mid-July. The ocean also had a fair amount of seaweed (made for poor fishing) and jellyfish. The house is good for a small to medium family or maybe 2 small families. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness. There was sand and food on the floors, tables and counters. Nice view and the decks worked out well.

We have been vacationing every year in the Outer Banks since 2002. Throughout the previous years I have used different rental companies and have stayed in many of the houses on Sea gull drive in South Nags Head. << my favorite area!
Avalon is an amazing house. Honestly, the internet pictures and description does not do this house justice. The house is very affordable!!! Especially if you take into consideration the great ocean views and access to the beach. Our family usually stays in ocean front houses,so I was worried..but you get all of the ocean front views with this house! In addition to the views, the inside of the house was beautiful! It contained many amenties...wireless internet was wonderful and the storage area under the house had a ton of beach stuff. We are really considering getting this house for our 2010 family vacation but instead of one week we are looking at two weeks!!!

I have rented houses from various rental companies in the Outer Banks. Resort Realty met our expectations in every way. Their staff was friendly and very caring! They make you feel like you are family, which is a wonderful trait especially since this is one of the larger rental companies in the outer banks:)I would highly recommend this company!
