We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at this very nice cottage. The location of the cottage, furnishings, and layout, are superior. The elavator is a real plus. We did have a temporary difficulty with the elavator, which, when reported, was fixed very quickly by a personal visit from the owner.
We would offer the following suggestions for improvement:
1. update the tv/remote set-ups; add a tv in u/s bdrm.
2. get a new washer--the spin cycle doesn't work.
3. the deadbolt on the basement door doesn't work. The male and female parts don't match up.
We certainly plan on returning this fall. -

The home is very spacious and kept very clean! The best part is that it was right on the water, which made it convient having children! The scenery everything was breath-taking. Would definitely stay there again!!

Enjoyed our stay which was the few days right before Hurricane Sandy. The check-in/check-out process was streamlined and very quick. The home was as described and very clean. The elevator was a definite plus since we had elderly quests.

Service was good,on receiving our key everyone made us feel at home.
We love the house,(it was our second time) & the elevator was helpful.
Location, location, location - it can't any better. The ocean at our door & convenient to restaurants & markets.
Attention needs to be given to cleaning the carpet.
Our most favorite thing - the back deck that led to the great outdoors. -

Bobbie's Bungalow was the perfect size and set up for our family. Great location, right on the beach, and close to grocery store, shops and restaurants. Some rooms have been recently updated- kitchen looks great with new granite, cabinets and appliances and upstairs bathroom recently re-done. Living room in good shape as well. Bedrooms could use an update, and the overall cleanliness could use a boost -floors were quite dirty and vacuum didn't work. Overall a great place, but could use a good cleaning.

The only downside was the mattress in the master bedroom, needs upgraded and also a door installed in the bathroom this also in the master other wise it wa great. We will rent again -

Beautiful, warmly decorated home, with many ocean, lighthouse themes. The mattresses on the King beds are horrendous, absolutely the worst bed I've ever slept on. We traded beds halfway thru, thinking my in-laws may not mind popping springs and dips in the bed. Well, I guess they were thinking the same thing; their bed produced the same results. Astonishing that an expensive home like this would have such poor mattresses. The elevator was nice, the garage, the rooms, baths were all exceptional. Wife and mother-in-law loved the kitchen and the set-up. We counted and you could serve 16 people in the dining areas if you needed to. We had 6 people with us and it was plenty of room. The proximity to Sonic, Food Lion, pier and restaurants was perfect. If this place was to get some decent mattresses, it would be a dream vacation home.

The house was beautiful- we would definately rent again if size of house suited us again. The only disappointing part was the condition of the house when we arrived as far as it's cleanliness. I had to sweep the floors and clean the counters in kitchen before I felt comfortable settling in. The counters looked like they hadn't even been wiped! So cleaning first was not expected after long trip. But despite that I would rent again from Resort Realty.

The house was wonderful. excellent accomodations and well maintained. the only complaint would be the grills could stand to be replaced for outdoor cooking. The kitchen had plenty of necessities, they had a selection of books and games. Excellent view of the beach. would definetly stay here again...

there were not enough Tv's and the beds were awful! in fact we argued over who would get to use the sleeper sofa which was much more comfortable. hated the laundry room situation. was handy having an elevator to bring up luggage and groceries though.

we have been vacationing at Outer Banks for 40 some years. Love it! Over the yrs we have stayed from Oracoke any where in between up to Corolla.Always a five star experience.We've s tayed in some really huge homes. the last 5 yrs some of our family members can't make it. we started staying at Sea Pointe.(duplex}We stayed at 5 of them. We stayed at Bobbie's Bungalow last yr{2008]loved it.We got it again for[2009] We had so many things go wrong. Handles broke off two toilets.Sand all over floors. Air conditioner broke.Wall paper hanging off walls in main bathOutside lights burned out.Grill too bad to use.After 3 days we finally got most everything fixed.The service to fix these were great They couldn't have been nicer.Just don't need all of this on your vacation.The home is great.Just needs a lot of work.We will stay somewhere else next year. Love the location. Love Nags Head!!!!There isn't anything we don't like about the Outer Banks.This is the first time we ran into problems like these. We still had a wonderful time at the Outer Banks. Very nice remodel of the main living area. Great kitchen. Living room TV was junk - no TV in upstairs Master Suite. Upstairs bathroom needs paint on walls and new grout, at the very least. Deck furniture is very tired and old. Second floor bedrooms and baths were fine. Shared pool is well kept and very kid friendly. Ocean views are wonderful. Office staff was very helpful. Nags Head is a great location.

Only reason I gave it a 4; instead of a 5 is; the Outer Banks is a family vacation destination; the home needs to be a tad bit more family focused.
For instance, the childrens room, has a pyramid bunk, sleeping for three children. Wonderful, but, there is only one dresser. We had two children sleep in that room and we had to literally cram their clothes in to make them fit. No way you could put three in there.
Also, family home, but only 2 TVs. Home sleeps 11, you are on vacation. Need more tvs. No TV in childrens room. That would be the first TV I would add. TV in kids room keeps them busy when you're trying to make dinner or get ready to go out. On vacation, don't want to compete with each for TVs.
Otherwise, Perfect. -

We stayed here 4 years ago when it was under a different realtor. I was thrilled when I was able to "relocate" it. I love the open floor plan. The front porch used to be screened, which we enjoyed in the evenings, wish that was still the case. The bugs get a little nasty sometimes. The only thing I wish it had was more TVs. We brought our 3 teeneage kids and their friends, so having other TVs in the bedrooms would have been nice. We love the convenience of Sonic being right across the street, as well as the grocery store, Oceans and The Cotton Gin. All within walking distance. We will definitely be heading back in the futre.

We loved staying in Bobby's Bungalow. It felt like we were at home, but better. The kitchen was wonderful, even though we ate dinner out daily. The views, oh the views!!!!
I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone, especially with children, to stay here.
The neighborhood was great with the pool and tennis courts. The location is perfect, you are in the middle of everything, but yet still off to yourself.
Also, eat at the Black Pelican and the Red Drum!!! you will love it!!!! -

I loved the view from this house. We had great access to a quiet beach and enjoyed walks and watching the sun set. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and gathering and the house felt large, even with 8 people in it. All of the sites were within easy driving distance. The management company was easy to work with. We never heard any noise from neighbors (it's a duplex), but maybe it was because we were there in the off-season.
The rest of the house (other than the kitchen) is due for a bit of a makeover. The bathrooms could use updating and replacing of worn fixtures. Bedrooms smell musty. -

Bobbies Bungalow is located in a great location in Nags Head. The Outer
Banks are great and has wonderful things to do and see. Lots of amenities
nearby. Not located in the highly commercialized Kitty Hawk but close by if
needed.
The main level master bedroom's bathroom could use some updating. The
downstairs master is very nice and modern. The kitchen is beautiful and has
everything available that one could want or need on vacation. The entire
process was very easy, simple through Resort Realty.
I highly recommend this location if one only requires 2 master suites. The
other bedrooms are for children and are size applicable.
Other rentals nearby had new offerings, such as additional refrigerators in
the garage, bicycles, grills and beach equipment. Bobbies Bungalow had
these also but a tetanus shot would be recommended before use. The
garage could use a good cleaning and dumping of accumulated stuff.
I would highly recommend Bobbies Bungalow and Resort Realty. I just
wanted to give a detailed expectation for another renter. I only stay at nice
upscale hotels, refuse to rough it and demand quality and comfort. THis
being said I would go back in a second. -

It was our first visit to Nags Head and Bobbie's Bungalow. We loved the
remodeled house. We had a great time. However, they need new deck
furniture - even the cheap rubber maid stuff would be fine. Loved the view
and closeness to shopping and restaurants.
We would certainly visit again.

We (my wife and I) have been to Bobby's Bungalo 4 times and have enjoyed each stay immensely. Its probably more beach house than two people need but the location and quality of the residence make it worth the extra $$. We typically go in May and October as the weather is great, the crowds are gone, and its just plain mellow. This duplex is very well cared for, and right on the beach. You can walk to the local supermarket and several restuarants. We have also the pleasure of meeting the home owner...very nice fellow.
We particularly appreciate the included YMCA membership pass.
The only thing that I would add would be wireless internet access.

Bobbie's Bungalow and the Sea Point community work out well for our family... comfortable accomodations,private beach, private street, pool, and tennis court. We have children from tots to teens and all have a good time.
