For the price to have a community pool and access to the beach was a find! The pictures don't do the house justice it is much bigger than it looks!
Very nice vacation

Loved the stay at Village of Nags Head, very relaxing but still minutes from plenty of attractions to get into. The house was nice, clean and private. The only issue we had was that the home did not have internet hookup, which in this day and age seemed kind of ridiculous and we prob would not have rented it had we known that. I think Resort realty should put that in bold letters at the top of the listing "no internet" since all the other homes we looked at had it included. However, it did save me from yelling at the kids to get off their Kindle's and Ipods! Check in and check out were the easiest and most efficient i have ever experienced. Pool was nice, beach was terrific. Thanks for a great week!

terrible place next to "water" treatment plant
Left on 08/14/2013 for a stay in August 2013 | Marg
Our worst vacation experience ever, by far. Resort Realty did not disclose that the property was located next to a sewage treatment plant, which was odorous, noisy, and ugly. Other issues--moldy/mildewy shower curtain, upstairs interior paint in terrible condition, broken microwave door handle, broken toaster, loud/grinding ceiling fans, cracked windows, broken window shades, sticking doors--all these paled in comparison. The response of the office, that the property was what it was, and there was nothing they could do, was insufficient and offensive. We will be sure to steer all our friends and acquaintances away from Resort Realty. The owners of this house should be ashamed.Obviously they just want to make a quick buck by misleading vacationers. This unit is a dump, don't rent it

The unit is right next to the sewage plant and is filty. The owner hasn't put a dime into it in 10 years. Carpet/walls etc. Rent someplace else. Read more

The home is a little dated, it really needs new carpet! It wasn't as clean as we like it either. It was on a quiet street, and just a short drive to the pool and beach.

Not worth the price.

We were very disappointed in this rental. The photos made it look much nicer than it actually was. The carpets and ceilings were stained, the furniture in the dining room was torn and the furniture throughout the house was very dated. It just wasn't what we expected at all. We have been coming to the Outer Banks to vacation for almost 20 years and mostly stay in Duck and Southern Shores where we have rented much bigger, cleaner and nicer homes for the same price or less. This was the first time we rented here in Nags Head and from Resort Realty and we were very disappointed. Read more

Staying here for over 10 yrs

This house used to be priced lower due to the fact that the Nags Head sewer plant is literally in the back yard, but now it is competitively priced. Close enough to the beach club that my kids often walked. Clean, but some of the furnishings are getting worn. Carpets are old, but ok. Roomy 3 BR and still the best price in Nags Head Village. The sewer plant was never an issue for us, so we've been repeat renters for over 10 years.

It was an ok stay, but the baby gates did not come quick enough for my toddler from the other company and he took a tumble down the steps. And there were a lot of spiders all over the place! But in general it was ok and everything was in good working order but it could have been a little cleaner.
We may be back though, overall it was decent enough place.
Nice place in OBX

We have been staying at this property for over ten years and love it. Up to
recently, it has been the best priced property in the Nags Head Village
community. There is a septic spray leach field directly behind the property.
Not a big deal to us, but most likely the reason for the discount. Located on
golf course, comes with passes to the beach club. Beach club is short walk, but
shuttle bus is available. Home furnishings are nice for a family with children
but starting to show a little wear. Outer Banks Realty is pleasant to work with.
