This house is just like home, the perfect size for a single family. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. The deck overlooking the beach was in constant use. Resort Realty was prompt and friendly, making the rental experience quick, easy, and pleasant. Nags Head is our favorite location, everything is available and accessible. If we could, we would put a permanent reservation for this cottage every summer! The Baileys love Damfino!!!

This is a wonderful house. The owners clearly love the house and take great care of it. We loved everything about it, except that we had to evacuate due to a hurricaine. Hopefully we will be able to rent this house again next year.

of course not the fault of the realty or house the mosquitos kept us off of the porch most of the day, was hopping for spraying but didn't happen. except for washer and dryer excellent house. beautifull view pier location excellent nice beach.

It was all very nice, the only complaints that we had were a curtain is needed over the hall door and the washer is overdue for replacement. Other than that, it was great and the house was very clean.

We enjoyed our stay at the Damfino. It was a relaxing, comfortable home. Staying beach front is very important to our family and our children enjoyed being so close to the pier. The house is definitely at the stage where some upgrades could be made, but overall, it was a family friendly home, with a touch of original character added by the owners.

We love OBX. We migrate there from Ohio twice a year. We loved staying at the Damfino. It was a beautiful home. It was close to the pier and located close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there, again!

Kitchen was fine. One window in the liiving room had no curtian, next door neighbors could see all of the living room.. The hallway door had no curtian so people across the street could watch every thing you were doing. You could not go from bath to bedroom unless you were fully dressed. Bath rooms had see thru shades the next door so that the neighbors could look right into the bathroom and see anyone getting out of the shower very plainly. Bedroom curtians were very thin and gaped open in the center and had to be pinned together with clothes pins. Only one clock in the house in the kitchen no bedroom clocks. The couch in the living room was so old you sank almost to the floor when you sat down in it. We were lucky enough the have taken extra towels which we hung on the doors and bath windows.for privacy. We appreciated the linens that were furnished they were very helpful.

We've stayed at Damfino for ten years now. It's been a perfect vacation house for us - plenty of room and a very comfortable deck for contemplating the ocean (and watching the daily catch at the nearby pier).
We've always found the house to be very clean and ready for our small family.
We are already looking forward to 2010 and have placed our deposit down before we left in September. Keep the good weather comung!! -

I loved this house it was perfect for a family of four, not to big or to small!!!! The pictures were beautiful and we even recreated the sunrise picture on the wall. Damfino was closed to the pier and to alot of attractions. The house had everything we needed and more and we were very happy about not having to pay for linens. I would love to be back in this house every year.

I have stayed in this home off and on for nearly 20 years. In between have had to stay in some of the larger homes, when family and friends joined us. It is the perfect spot, right on the beach, near the pier for fishing, in a fairly quiet area, accessible to anything you would need. The small size is perfect for our family and easy to keep up with. I will be back as often as I can.
Only draw back is it is getting a little worn-- tables marred, lamps and decoration broken. But if you come to enjoy the outdoors and don't expect one of the fancy upscale homes, it can all be overlooked. It won't keep me from coming back.
