We were very comfortable. There was lots of space for everyone to eat together and move around. View was great and access to area was great.

This rental was more than what I expected! It was very clean and very roomy! The location was perfect. It was a very short walk to the beach. It is located near a grocery store which was convenient for us. The pool wasn't very big but was perfect for our two and three year olds. We spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub. The jetted bath tub is huge. Overall this is the best rental that I have had at OBX!
Family Get-Away at the Beach

The location of this house was perfect - just across the street from the beach. The house was family friendly (we had 3 families vacationing together). We had one issue with the sink leaking and it was quickly fixed by the management company. My only complaint is that the beds were so firm they weren't very comfortable. Otherwise, the house was a great fit for us!

This is the third year we've stayed in a Resort Realty house. This house was nice. Really liked the location. Only downfall was the size of the pool. The last two days the beach was closed due to high winds and waves so we spent it at the house in the pool. All and all was a nice vacation. We definitely plan to visit the Outer Banks again with Resort Realty.

The house itself was okay. The layout is a little different than some houses we have stayed in the past. The pool is very small and is more like a hot tub with no jets. The tv upgrade in the living room is nice and the internet is speedy. The beach acccess is close and has a shower to rinse off prior to returning home. The driveway is tight when you have more than 3 vehicles.
All in all the house was fine. We had a few snafus due to hurricane Irene, but all was fix before we left.
Very pleased with rental and location.

We all loved the rental and ease of everything we wanted close by. We enjoyed our stay although storm sent us home early.People before us left sharp crab shells on deck and found broken glass pieces on carpet next to kitchen. Other than that, perfect and look forward to coming back next year. Left a few extras in home.
Insecure deck railing.

We loved the house! There was only one concern, and one that I trust you will look into. The railing on the second floor deck was a bit rickety..as if the lag bolts holding it to the deck had loosened up.

what can I say? First time in OBX ( for me and hubby, at least)and my entire family was just wowed by this house.
Great location, beautifully kept up home.
Thanks for the extras, games, great big TV,extra chairs and boogie boards to take to the beach, jacuzzi tub in and hot tub out!
We all had a great time and hope to visit again in 2012.
Dolphin Watch, great summer week

The house was great. The Dolphin Watch location, both to beach and physical location in Nags Head, was excellent.
Too Hot For Me
Great House--Way too hot
Left on 06/02/2011 for a stay in May 2011 | Too Hot For Me
Great house and location. However, the air conditioning was designed incorrectly with all cool air flowing to the upper floor, and the second floor was over 80 degrees.
If the aC is fixed, then it would be a great rental for family of 8-10.
Great House saved a rainy week

even though it rained for most of the week, we were very happy with the house and all it's ameneties and the pool and hot tub were a life saver for our grandson. This was his first trip to the outer banks and they came in handy since he could only go in the ocean a couply times. We would have liked a better view of the ocean, but at least we were in walking distance.

Our vacation just takes too long to get there! Love staying in South Nags Head. With my job I travel to some pretty exotic locations, however, none is as relaxing as staying with Resort Realty in So Nags Head.

We like this rental the pool was smaller than we expected but we had a 3 year old with us who loved the pool and the Dolphin. We would have liked a tv in each bedrooms. Also the beds were very hard. The comforters could stand a washing. It was a great location we enjoyed the table up on the deck we had dinner there every night. We did have to leave early due to Hurricane Earl were a little disappointed in that.

The house was very nice and located convently to many things such as public beach access, resteraunts, shopping, and fishing pier. The check in could have been better. We went by the house at 3pm and it was empty, but didn't get a key until almost 5pm.

My husband and I, our two sons in their early 20's and their significant others had a supremely relaxing and wonderful time in this home. We felt at home the minute we arrived. So close to the beach, cute little pool when you wanted a cool down w/out the salt & sand

We loved the Dolphin Watch. It is very conveniently located across the beach road. The house was very comfortable, with lots of nice attention to detail. The owners thoughtfully put together a binder of very useful information – restaurant menus, hot tub instructions, what to do on rainy days, and much more! The pool was small, but lovely, and very refreshing on a hot day!
We enjoyed working out at the YMCA, only a few minutes from the house.
We loved the new "check-out" feature, no more dropping off keys at the office at 4:30 a.m. upon departure!
Pleasant time in Nags Head

This house worked out really well for us (family with three small kids, and two other friends with kids). The bedroom layout (with two king size bedrooms) was perfect for our group - the one single friend had the upstairs bedroom to herself, away from the kids who were up far too early for vacation! The public beach access was close to the house, the pool was great fun for the kids (even if it was rather small), and the hot tub was relaxing for the adults. The kid's den was a nice thought, as all the kids could watch movies/play downstairs, while leaving the adults (mostly) alone upstairs. Although the house is right on Hwy 12, it was not as noisy as I thought it would be. Probably the only thing that would make the house better would be if the venetian blinds were in better condition. Most of them have seen better days, and were missing the rods needed to close them against the morning sun. In all, a very pleasant vacation in a very nice house!

Our vacation was very nice because we had an excellent weather and we enjoy being with our grown up children. About the house, it was comfortable, but dated. It needs an upgrade very badly and some furniture need to be replaced, clean up or have a new paint job.
Our experience with the Resort Realty people was very good. We would love to go back, but not to the same house unles we see that an upgrade takes place.
A fabulous week!

Dolphin Watch was a home away from home. It is appointed well by the owners - - extremely clean, comfortable in every way.....down to the wireless internet. Very spacious...places to just be quiet when you wanted to read or just totally relax. Location was wonderful....like the walking distance to Tortugas and to the beach access - - a 67 year old Lady sure enjoyed that. Would highly recommend. My family enjoyed every day.
Happy with the house!

This house was one of the better houses that we've stayed in. The pool was the perfect size for our family and their needs. The hot tub was just as nice. The kitchen was spacious as well as the family room. We used all the bedrooms and thought they were perfect. It was nice to have 2 rooms with king size beds! The house was a nice distance to the public beach access as well as the handicap beach access. One thing I would have liked to see in the house, would be televisions in the bedrooms, as well as updated televisions throughout the house. Other than that... wonderful house!

we had a wonderful time at the dolphin watch--the ammenities were perfect for a family of 6--4 kids between 17 and 22. we loved the short walk to the beach, the ymca use provided ( which we used almost every day, the pool and the general layout of the house. we would definitly go back to dolphin watch again!

Great week at the beach
Left on 07/16/2009 for a stay in June 2009 | Grandma8
We really enjoyed the house. It was very nicely
decorated and well equipped and fit our family
perfectly. The only drawbacks for the house is the
very, very small pool. Our oldest child was only 6
so the pool was fine for them but if you had older
kids it would be a REAL disappointment. The size
should be put in the description so people aren't
shocked. Fortunately, the house comes with a YMCA
membership and the Y has a really great pool.
Unfortunately the Y pool was not open the week we
were there. The kids really enjoyed the skate park
at the Y. I think they went 4 times. I enjoyed the
fitness center too. The Y was very close.
The other problem was we had small kids and we were
very concern about the traffic on the road and how
close the house was to the road. A big plus was
the house was very convinient to the beach.

It was our 1st time to the Outer Banks and our 1st time to rent a home. Everything was great except the weather, with high winds and red flags at the beach, we left a day early.
The house was roomy and clean. We rented it for the pool, but September was too cold to swim in it.
It was a great 1st experience for renting a home and I would recommend this home. It was close enough to walk to the beach. I loved sitting on the deck and hearing the waves on the beach. With the high winds, we were glad we were not right on the beach, yet we could see the ocean thru the houses.
It was fine, nothing special

The house was nice. We didn't realize that we were right on the main road, so that was a drawback. We also had issues with the hottub. It was filthy when we arrived and the maintenance worker did come out, but the automatic shut off did not work and in the midlle of the night, it overflowed everywhere.
The beach access was nice.
Overall, the experience was fine, not the greatest, yet nothing in particular was bad either.
