As usual, we enjoyed the cottage very much and we appreciate the efforts of the owners who help to make our stay so comfortable. There are a few minor problems that I would like to share: the bureau drawer in the south east MB on the ocean side is broken---it was the same last year!, we would like to have a towel holder in the 1/2 bath on the top floor, also, the TP holder was loose and we tried to fix it, so could you please look at it, the shelf on the upstairs freezer door(next to closet is broken,the light in the upstairs fridge (next to counter) does not stay on, finally, a couple of the dining room chairs are loose. Thank you for this opportunity and we look forward to seeing you all next year.

The entire family had a great time at the Red Snapper Inn. The house was very nice and well appointed. Love the walkway to the beach, it made it easy for the entire family to get back and forth to the beach. Love the pool, it is a must for the young children and a nice break from the salt water right before dinner. The reception folks / cleaning staff at the house when we arrived was very helpful. It was really nice to be able to check in early.

We loved the house and being in South Nags Head. It was surprisingly dirty...sticky food on dining tables and dirty carpets. Carpet on steps had thick dust on them. We used the vacuum and it doesn't seem to be working well, in their defense. Dirty water level lines in toilet bowls, dirt in corners of bathroom floors. I know alot is being paid for cleaning services so feel you should know. Loved the roominess of the house for sleeping, but for how many people it holds, we felt there wasn't adequate comfortable seating for everyone. Sitting at a dining table isn't as comfortable as a couch or chair. Maybe another couch or two?

Location is excellent. The house is large as it needs to be for our group. It has all the amenities that are necessary and more. It's just a great place to spend two weeks.

Overall, this was a very pleasant experience. There were a few maintenance issues during the week and they were handled timely by the the maintenance company. The lowest/pool level was in need of some painting. The lowest/pool level appeared a bit dated from the decor. Other than that, the other 2 levels were fine. We could have used an extra trash can or two. We had to put some trash bags next to the trash cans at the end of the week due to trash overflow.

Really enjoyed our stay. House is well furnished and stocked with plenty of dishes/furniture, etc. Lots of stairs! Nice access to the beach although it is a little bit of a walk. Nice pool . . . too cold to swim much the week we went. Be sure to bring trash bags, dish and laundry detergent. . . also soup for your hands as they do not provide these things.

Great house and location. Noon check in was a great way to start. Home was well stocked with kitchen ware. Could have used an ice maker. Rooms were comfortable. Outdoor furniture was plentiful.
House was clean when we arrived. Pool, hot tub, etc., were great.

The stay was wonderful, though for such an expensive vacation I expected better mattresses in the rooms and better comforters. The comforters were so old and disgusting that I felt dirty sleeping under them; cheap hotels today have better ones. Also the towels for the rental were really small and old, and definitely not enough for 22 sleeping people. The one other complaint I have were that the windows of the entire house were so dirty you could not look out at the amazing view of the ocean. My family went out and bought window cleaner just so that they could see the ocean better. Other than that, our stay was amazing and the house was perfect for our vacation. We will remember our memories of our visit for decades to come. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

A couple of the bed frames were broken, there was metal sticking out of the one chair in the living room which cut my 3 year olds back. The jacuzzi tub in the master suite didn't work. There was no wireless internet which made it inconvenient for the kiddos who had school work to do. Other then these couple small things we really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials and that made it really nice. The dual washer & dryers made it very nice too especially when you have kids.

It was great to eliminate the necessary office visits for key pickup and dropoff. The cleaning crew was courteous and helpful. The home fit the needs of all 22 of us and before leaving we concurred it would be a great house to rent in the future. Being in South Nagshead allowed us to bypass much of the city traffic conjestion as we often ate dinner in Mateo. Previous homes rented have always had more damage - this one was in pretty good shape for a rental.

This is a great house for family reunions - this was our 29th. We plan to return for our 30th!! Service was good and prompt. The location was great since we had family coming from all over. Our only negative was the quality of the linens. We liked that we did not have to go to the office to check-in or when leaving.

After coming to the Outer Banks for 40 years, this is the only house that we have stayed in more than once. Red Snapper Inn has above average amenities. Everything from the furniture, kitchen appliances, decorations, to the outdoor furniture have been up-graded and is much appreciated. Cleaning and linen service was excellent. As our family has grown, our requirements have changed. We do wish this house had an elevator for my handicapped sister, more trash cans and easier parking for 11 cars. Other than those few inconviences, this house suits us well. Price will become a factor in the future and we hope you can keep increases under control. Prudential Resort Realty is our 1st. choice for rentals and hope you can keep a large listing for your customers.

Our group of five Pennsylvania families have been staying at The Red
Snapper Inn for the past 5 years and loving it!
The reservationists
have always been very helpful and responsive. We especially enjoy the
Resort Club check-in status of this property and have been thrilled with
the caretakers upon our arrival -- what great people!
Kudos to the
website revisions as well! The new format is much easier to review and
the floor plan preview is a wonderful asset. I do suggest that you
re-photograph the "views" during a nice day rather than when a storm is
brewing -- that doesn't do it justice.
The house is in a wonderful
stretch of homes and the beach is always beautiful there. The home is
well appointed for the cost, although we hope that the rate increases
will slow down in pace with the current economic challenges. It's pretty
much a given that we all enjoy the pool, hot tub and beachfront. The
kitchen is excellent and well-supplied for multi-family groups; although
a second stove and ice maker for filling coolers would be expected
additions if the rates continue to rise.
The only other changes we
would make is that in a home of this caliber we would expect a wide
screen HD-TV in the great room and TV units with DVD instead of VCR in
the bedrooms. Secondly, it would make much more sense to swap the queen
bed in the top-floor master with the king bed in the mid-floor master
(front right boat themed) -- obviously that would probably mean swapping
the furniture as well but this would improve the hierarchy of the
bedrooms.
We hope that the home will be well maintained in the years
to come and continue to be our best option amongst the many homes in the
Outer Banks.

RESORT REALTY HAS ALWAYS PROVIDED ME WITH OUTSTANDING SERVICE, I HAVE BEEN RENTING WITH THEM FOR YEARS. THE HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! THE LOCATION OF THE HOME IS IDEAL AND IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT. OVERALL EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOUSE WAS GREAT. THE KITCHEN WAS WOW, WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO HANG OUT. YOU KNOW EVERYONE ALWAYS WANTS TO HANG OUT IN THE KITCHEN. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR ALL. I THINK THAT THE LIVING ROOM SHOULD HAVE BETTER AND MORE SEATING. FOR A HOUSE THIS SIZE IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEAT MORE THAN 7 IN THE LIVING ROOM AREA. TV SHOULD BE LARGER, RATHER SMALL FOR SUCH A LARGE ROOM. ON THE LAST DAY WE WERE THERE THE SEPTIC TANK WAS FULL AND CAUSED A MESS WITH ALL THE COMMODES ON THE LOWER LEVEL TO BACK UP. WE COULD NOT SHOWER OR USE THE COMMODES IN ANY PART OF THE HOUSE. NOT A GOOD WAY TO END A VACATION.
