Leave the clouds of everyday life at home..."Blue Skies" are waiting for your arrival on the Outer Banks. Blue Skies For You is a gorgeous 5 bedroom beach retreat in the heart of the Outer Banks.

The home is luxurious both inside and out. The whimsical beach decor creates a warm, inviting vacation atmosphere, and the impeccable interior design offers gleaming hardwood floors, comfortable furniture throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fireplace to warm you in the off season. The large, open floor plan offers plenty of room to relax and visit as a group.

Blue Skies For You is a perfect home for family entertain...ing. The private, in-ground pool (10x20) is a great spot to soak up the afternoon sun or splash with the kids. The hot tub is the ideal spot to unwind after a great day filled with beach activities. The home is equipped with surround sound throughout, including the pool area !

Multiple decks offer the opportunity to relax in the tranquil Outer Banks environment and visit with loved ones. Enjoy warm afternoon sun while the fresh ocean breezes keep you cool and gaze at the night sky filled with bright stars.

Blue Skies For You is centrally located at MP 12 in the heart of Nags Head ( Nags Head was recently named #1 family-friendly beach by TripAdvisor® ). An ideal location to make the most of your time on the Outer Banks.

Located in the popular community of Old Nags Head Place, Blue Skies for You is a short distance from unique beach shops, great restaurants with local flavor, and fun attractions for the entire family. Jockey's Ridge State Park, the tallest natural sand dune system in the Eastern United States is easily accessible by a pedestrian walkway. Jockey's Ridge is a great spot to walk up and enjoy the sunset over the Sound... arguably the best sunset on the beach .

Beach access is a short walk from Blue Skies For You. A community walkway leads to the public beach access approximately 2-3 blocks from the home.

  It was a great home in a great location. The area was flat which made getting to and from beach access with kids and equipment easy. The home did lack a recycling bin which made things difficult. There are some drainage issues in the pool/decking/fenced area. The water would pool and get rather deep...I slipped a few times trying to navigate...older/younger persons could fall and result in injury. The propane grill was a nice plus but it could be slightly bigger...considering the amount of food that needs to be cooked for an accomodating house. The drains in bathrooms could snaked...extremely slow moving.

  We sent a technician to look into the tubs and everything seems to be draining fine now. The draining of the property after rain is a bit more complicated, but we will keep an eye on it. Thank you for letting us know!

  Fun and relaxing

  Not very happy with the check in process. The lady at the reservation center was annoying and not helpful. The house was clean upon entering but once you opened cupboards there was noticiable crumbs/dirt inside. I had to wipe out cabinets before I could but food away.Oven was dirty along with the grill. For the amount of money I spent I guess I expected a clean inside.Should have left more instruction regarding the house and provide vacuum cleaner and dust pans. Had to call maintance regarding refrigerator. Manager on call was not very friendly or helpful. Do want to give a shout out to Brandon and Will for their awesome customer service. One garabage can is not enough for a family of 10 and it would have been nice to have a recyle bin. Most of the other houses in the neighborhood had them.Over the house met are needs for space. We will be going back next year to the Outer Banks but will utilize another agency.

  Many nicer homes for the same price

  My family has been visiting the outerbanks for the past 15 years and this is the worst beach house we have rented. Outerbanks is always great regardless of the home, however, this home is poorly maintained. Kitchen is very poorly stocked and the utensils/pots/pans are very disappointing. The blender was cracked and leaked, one side of the toaster did not work, one burner on the stove did not work and we did see ants. The screens on the doors to the porch were broken, entrance by the gate to get into the pool was very slippery when wet. The water did not drain very well and the wooden boards became very slippery. Also, one bathtub on the middle level of the home did not drain. The home also lacks adequate porch furniture, living room furniture and has a very outdated small television in the living room. Trees and brush growing on the decking outside the home. High voltage power transmission lines running parallel to the property cause you to get small shocks when touching the wet concrete around the pool. Make sure you ask the real estate office about the problem.
  
  Disappointed with the kitchen utensils, pot/pans, etc. The blender was broken, one side of the toaster was broken and one front burner on the stove did not work

  Relaxing!

  The home is beautiful and the pool was wonderful! And we had a great vacation! The only negative thing was the kitchen wasn't stocked very well. Not enough silverware or things like cutting boards, small gadget type things like a veggie peeler or mixing or serving bowls. We would rent this house again or recommend it to friends but bring your own kitchen stuff if you plan on cooking.

  Nice location, and layout of home. It lacked higher end amenities (Hdtv, appliances, some major utensils). Ants were an issue for the entire week, the refrigerator would not get cold regardless of the setting.

  1st Trip of many to come at OBX, Blue Skies for you is Perfect f

  This is the first my family and I have visited the Outer Banks. We will definitely be back every year as for our family reunions!
  
  Now more about what you want to know, the house! Let me just say that renting a house versus a hotel was my best idea EVER! The whole family was able to hang out and be together as a family. I dont even want to imagine what our trip would've been like without this house.
  
  This house was absolutely perfect! The only thing worth mentioning is the screened in porch...the screens are ripped and therefore, not screened in! We found a couple of spiders in the house, but in North Carolina its expected. And the towels they provide are thin and stained, washed many times. Other than that, the house is perfect. We played lots of pool, the hard wood floors and open floor plan of the kitchen/family room made it perfect for family games and hanging out, the hot tub came in use many times (very strong chlorine smell!), the built in speakers throughout the house was very nice, we even used the bbq grill for a cookout!
  
  All in all, 4.5 out of 5 stars! A great time in a great house at a great place, Outer Banks North Carolina!
