The Suites are extremely spacious, ranging in size from 125-150 square meters, and are air-conditioned throughout. There are two large bedrooms with King sizes beds two bathrooms with shower and toilet, a spacious living room open plan with dining room, a European kitchen with full appliances, and a balcony overlooking a small green park with chairs and a table so you can enjoy a drink after the beach or a morning coffee while you appreciate the view of Nai Harn lake. Nai Harn Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket with its excellent water quality. Surrounded by jungle-and-palm covered mountains with rocky shores the beach is powdery and almost white, the waters calm (at most times of the year) Nai Harn. Is a favorite spot for sun-bakers, resident expats?
Nai Harn Lake is all that sits between The Sands and the beach. This stunning natural lake is shaded by trees and is backed by a Buddhist monastery. With the peaceful atmosphere of this sacred temple, and the tranquility of the trees billowing softly over this still lagoon with a children park and running path around the lake.
please note There is a four-star hotel being built behind The Sands. This does provide for some noise during the day, but generally it is kept to minimum so it does not disturb your stay with us at The Sands. It is set to open in early 2013.

We were absolutely pleased with our 5 week stay in this rental managed by Linda. Linda was a gracious host and always eager to make everything right! The apartment is simple but well supplied with sheets, towels, dishes and pans (and bi-weekly cleaning service). The kitchen preparation area is small but sufficient--and the two fridges are an awesome bonus for someone who likes to stock a fridge! Linda was kind enough to bring in a microwave when we requested one, and she offered us alternative internet options when the building internet was temporarily down. There is cable TV with English movie channels that we enjoyed, as well as a DVD player in the living room.
We never saw any bugs/ants on the counters here (a rarity in Thailand!), and found everything in good working condition. The apartment building has a fantastic pool. The entire pool is about 4'10" deep...tricky with kids, but there are steps our small children played on, until they all decided to learn to swim better!
There is a 24-hour guard service at the front entrance, as well as other apartment staff that is often a familiar face around the property. The staff was all overly kind to our 3 small children (ages 7, 5, and 2), and the yard was great for our kids to play in (the street is bordered by bushes so we didn't have to worry about the kids getting out). There is an old playground set on the property which my kids enjoyed, and a fantastic community playground within a short walk across the lake.
The beach is fantastically close (and great for kids!) and not overly crowded like some beaches in Phuket. The nearby village (a few minutes by motorbike) met all our needs--groceries, restaurants, motorbike rentals, etc. The entire apartment building was very quiet when we were there, even though it was supposedly high season. Apartment is conveniently ground floor and building had secure parking.
Overall, we found our stay here to be absolutely pleasant and relaxing! We would highly recommend!
