This detached former schoolhouse is located in the town of Nailsworth and can sleep twelve people in four bedrooms. Old Inchbrook School is a detached former school house in the Gloucestershire town of Nailsworth. The cottage sleeps twelve people and has two family bedrooms, a double and a twin plus two sofa beds. There are two family bathrooms, a fitted kitchen and three sitting rooms, one with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Perfect for a family holiday, Old Inchbrook School is set in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.

Off road parking for 2 cars with additional roadside parking for 1 car in front of the gate. Lockable bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden with decked area, furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: There is a small uncovered pond at this property.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Having just returned home after a three night break at the Old Inchbrook School I wanted to knock up a quick review that might be of help to anyone considering choosing this property for a break of their own. Basically if you're after a cosy,homely,characterful space to share with family or friends then you really can't go far wrong with the Old Inchbrook school, the place is just bursting with charm and homeliness. The property ranges over three floors offering a wealth of space and accomodates up to 12 in a party. There are 2 well appointed shower rooms (incl wc) and a separate toilet. The shared spaces are amazing. A vast room (heigh ceilings is an understatment) on the ground floor houses a huge woodburner in a fine surround and light floods the space through stained glass( harking back to the buildings heyday as the village C of E school). A mini grand piano, flat screen TV and lovely furnishing finish off the eclectic charm. Downstairs another vast space allows for a huge family kitchen diner complete with aGa, cooker microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and handy utility toom. A solid farm-house table ( easily seating 10) offers up a beautiful dining area looking out onto a handy covered deck offering views across the valley and neigbouring pasture. Off this space is another great family area with a nice squishy lether soaf and a whole rafet of floor cushions and other seating. This rtoom hosues another wall mounted flat screen and a lovely collection of childrens toys...grteat for keeping the nippers happy ( they've also got a trampoline. swings and slides in the neat rear garden). Everything about this place from the mullioned windows, soild wood floors and foot thick walls speak of the past and the house is alive with character and history...I could describe each booklined room and every tasteful piece of art hanging in every kooky nook and cranny but the joy of discovering these liitle hidey holes is all part of its unique charm. The only thing preventing me giving a full 5 stars is its relative distance from the local shops/ pubs etc. Whilst the younsgers in the group will have no problem negotiating the walk down to Nailsworth..those less sprightly will find the hike back something of a challenge. In closing I'd finish by saying that I'd happily return next weekend and every weekend after that...
