This lovely home-from-home has been well refurbished and tastefully decorated throughout, offering a very high standard of warm, welcoming accommodation and can sleep six people across two double bedrooms and one twin. Situated in the grounds of the owners’ home, two miles from the Victorian seaside town of Nairn, this traditional semi-detached house is set in the charming hamlet of Moss Side. The property has three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin) and a spacious open-plan living area as well as sliding doors to a great patio and garden which is an ideal place to enjoy a glass of the local whisky in the evening. Well-placed for both t...he Whisky and Castle trail, as well as local amenities in Inverness and Nairn, this cottage makes a great holiday-home for families with children, or people looking to spend a quiet week away with friends.

Town: The lively Victorian seaside resort of Nairn has always been a popular holiday destination. Only sixteen miles from the Millennium town of Inverness, Nairn is apparently one of the driest, sunniest places in the country but regardless of the weather during your trip, there is plenty to do. With some of the best beaches in Scotland and some of the cleanest waters in Great Britain, the area is home to one of the only two dolphin colonies in the country. Situated in the Moray Firth, visitors can often see these beautiful, intelligent mammals swimming nearby. Closely linked to the Battle of Culloden, nearby Fort George claims to be Europe’s best preserved eighteenth century military fortification. There are also plenty of opportunities nearby for a game of golf on one of the two eighteen-hole championship courses.

After a long drive, the cottage was everything we expected and more.
The interior was extremely stylish, tasteful and homely. The bed in the master bedroom was the icing on the cake!
The kitchen was very spacious and very well equipped.
The location was ideal as it wasn't far from Nairn or Inverness and the opportunity to see red squirrels was a treat.
All in all I couldn't recommend this property more highly and would be happy to go back any time.

The service we received was very friendly, the home was lovely and peaceful and in a beautiful tranquil location, the cottage was comfortable and cosy & the masterbedroom had the feel of being in a hotel. The amenities were perfect especially the the dishwasher a real treat for me. The owner had 2 beautiful dogs that were very friendly to be around. The cottage was a bit out of the way for Inverness but it was well worth it to be in the heart of the countryside. I would highly recommend this cottage.

I decided for my 50th Birthday, I wanted to spend some time with my family and as I was born in Nairn, Scotland about 3 miles from where we stayed above this was perfect.
The house was lovely, very spacious and a lovely master bedroom, with en-suite,with two other double bedrooms, the kitchen was very big and had a big dining table so we could all six of us sit and eat.
The surroundings were so peaceful. We even had tea in the garden. I recommend this house to anyone and the shop and town are around 3 miles away if you like walking its a lovely walk.
I like it so much Im going back in May 2010!
