"SUITE RETREAT" is a 950sq ft 2 bedroomed, 1 Bathroom Ground Floor Suite in an Ocean View 4 year old Executive Home with it's own PRIVATE ENTRANCE.

Also ATTRACTIVE COURTYARD GARDEN with colourful planters and beds and a decorative river pebble area WITH COVERED PATIO with furniture and BBQ.

There is an open concept Kitchen / Dining / Lounge area with a bright fully equipped kitchen with 4 stainless steel appliances, a cheerful dining area, comfortably furnished lounge with leather furniture and large flat panel TV and DVD player.

... The first bedroom has a Solid Wood Pencil Post Queen Bed, wicker night tables and dresser with mirror, accent chair and closet. The second bedroom as a stained Pine Queen Bed, night tables, laptop table, chair and closet. There is a Full Bathrooom with Tub/Shower combo, vanity unit and toilet. A hallway closet holds a stacked "Whirlpool Sport" Front Loading Washing Machine and Dryer.

There is Broadloom carpet throughout with Ceramic Tile in the kitchen and bathroom.

Outside the suite is a small enclosed courtyard with colourful planters, shrub beds and an area of decorative stones. For our younger visitors there is a sand box complete with Tonka Toys.

There is also a private covered patio with table and chairs plus a propane BBQ.

A park with a large enclosed grass area and childrens play equipment is situated behind the property with the entrance 3 properties down.

There is ample side street parking.

"Suite Retreat" sleeps 4 to 5 persons.

The property is strictly NON SMOKING,including the courtyard garden..

A pet (dog or cat) may be allowed, please enquire (there will however be an additional charge and pet deposit).

The home is situated in prestigious North Nanaimo in a established and very friendly upscale development that is within minutes of everything that this vibrant city has to offer be it......Beaches, Lakes, Parks, Shops, Malls, Harbour front, Marinas, English Style Pubs, Restaurants, Aquatic Centres, Horse riding, Golf Courses, Miniture and Crazy Golf, the famous Goats on the Roof!!..Hiking, Biking, Caving, Zip Lining , Bunjee Jumping!!...you name it and you are close to it!!!!.....

Nanaimo is also a marvellous central location on Vancouver Island making it ideal for daily excursions either up Island to......Mount Washington (with its beautiful wildflowers and great hiking & mountain bike trails in the spring and summer, not to mention the varied snow activities in the winter months), Courtney / Comox, Campbell River and Telegraph Cove (with its authentic and original buildings built on piles with its famous boardwalk) to name a few. Or down Island .... Victoria, British Columbia's beautiful capital is a pleasant 90 minute journey away passing over the Malahat with its breathtaking views. Closer by you will find the lovely town of Ladysmith, Saltair, Crofton (where you can take the ferry over to Saltspring Island), Chemainus (with its famous Murals) and Duncan (home of the Totems). Or travel over to the wild west coast (passing by Cathedral Grove (45 minutes away) with old growth giant Cedars some over 800 years old) through Port Alberni to Tofino (approx. 3 hours drive) and the fabulous surfing beaches including Chesterman & Long Beach. All these places and many more not mentioned have lots to interest and entertain you. We will also be happy to suggest other excursions, just ask.

The property is situated in prestigious North Nanaimo in a well established and extremely friendly upscale neighbourhood and is only minutes from everything that this vibrant and friendly Harbour city has to offer i.e. Beaches, Parks, Shops, Malls etc. etc.
Nanaimo is centrally located on Vancouver Island making it ideal as a base to tour other areas on the island.

**Please note that during the High Season (mid June - mid September) minimum bookings are for 7 nights (or weekly) bookings preferably with a Saturday change over day.

No extra charges are made to guests for cleaning it is asked that you leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, should excessive cleaning be required then a portion of the security deposit will be charged for this purpose.

A Deposit of 50% is required when booking and the balance no later than 30 days prior to the commencement of your stay.
The Security/Damage Deposit is due on arrival either cash or cheque.

Cancellation Policy.
More than 90 days from dates a full refund of the deposit (less $50.00 cancellation fee) will be made.
Less than 90 days and more than 30 from dates the deposit will be returned (less one nights rental plus any additional costs)
30 days or less deposit is only refundable should the dates in questiion be re-booked or at the discretion of the owner.
Travel insurance is advised.
Be advised that any additional expenses incurred will be deducted before any deposit is returned.

The Security Deposit will be returned within 10 - 14 days depending on conditions found in property on inspection.

The rates are for 2 adults + up to 3 children aged 12 years and under (maximum occupancy is 5 persons). If there is a 3rd and 4th adult there are additional charges. This charge is $125.00 per person per week, or $20.00 per person per night. Under 12 years there is no charge, 12 to 17 charged at half rate i.e. $62.50 per week or $10.00 per night (18 and over charged as adult)

  Our son was getting married on august 18th, in Nanaimo. We were hosting family and friends from Lethbridge, Calgary, Kelowna. My 87 year old mother was also joining us. We needed space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. This home provided all of the above. The kitchen was big enough for my mother to prepare large meals and the rooms were well decorated and spacious. This was a well appionted home with lots to offer anyone who needs space to host a large group of people and to relax. We found the upstairs deck the best spot to relax and have a glass of wine and chat. We saw boats and the ferry from this deck as they passed the through water channel. This was a wonder place to be this summer. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to host a large family gathering...:)

  Great place to stay if you have kids... adults in one room, kids in other! Laundry facilities mean you don't have to bring extra clothes to wash. Fantastic patio to host a BBQ with great views of the ocean and mountains. Retreat is in a residential area so not a lot of traffic and short walk to a wonderful bakery (Bodhi's Bakery) and shopping mall. Great for a small family. Marilyn (the manager)will go the extra mile for you! Highly recommend it.

  We stayed at Suite Retreat while in Nanaimo buying a house. The location was in the best residential area of town.
  Marilyn, the owner, was very nice and made sure all our needs were met. The suite is stocked very well with everything one needs. The kitchen even had spices.
  The washer and dryer was very handy and first rate. There was no negatives. I can highly reccomend Suite Retreat.
