"Eagles" is a 3800 sq. ft. 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom with 180 degree Panoramic Ocean, Island & Coastal Mountain Views, Mountainside Estate Property perched high above Nanoose Bay.

This beautiful property sits on 3 natural acres with extensive view decks & hot tub. As the name suggests you can watch the Bald Eagles soaring overhead & also see Deer grazing on the property at sunrise & sunset.

Outside are extensive Ocean view decks with dining furniture, gas BBQ, & also large natuarally landscaped grounds, in all 3 acres. Ample parking for multiple vehicles, plus your boat, dirt bike or... ATV if you choose to bring them along!!

The property is furnished & equipped to a high standard & it is our aim that you have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at "Eagles"which although situated a little outside Nanaimo is very conveniently located & is only 10-20 or so minutes from everything that this Vibrant and Friendly Harbour city as to offer, be it Beaches, Lakes, Parks, Shops, Malls, Harbour Front, Marinas, English Style Pubs, Restaraunts, Aquatic Centres,.. Horse riding, Golf Courses, Miniture & Crazy Golf, the Famous "Goats on th Roof"!!..Hiking, Biking, Caving, Zip Lining, Bungee Jumping!!!.....you name it and you are not too far from it.

If you choose to bring your dirt bike or ATV we have countless miles of trails and logging roads right on the doorstep for you to explore, you can of course explore them on foot or mountain bike as well!!

The property sleeps up to 8 people plus 2under 5's

**Please note that during the High Season (mid June - mid Sept) there is, preferably, a 7 night minimum booking period running Friday to Friday.

**Check-in is 4 p.m. onwards. Check-out is by 11 a.m.

It is a STRICTLY NON SMOKING PROPERTY......

A PET may be possible, please contact us to discus (however an additional charge plus pet deposit will be made)

**Suitable for the elderly, or those who find stairs a problem, if staying in the main floor Master Bedroom or main floor Queen room as everything is then on the ground floor, with no stairs inside.

It is also a marvellous central location on Vancouver Island making it ideal for daily excursions either up island to .....Mount Washington (with its beatiful wild flowers, hiking & mountain biking in the summer not to mention the varied snow activities in the winter) Courtney/Comox, Campbell River or Telegraph Cove (with its authentic & original buildings built on piles & its famous boardwalk) to name a few!! Or down island to Victoria, British Columbia's beautiful capital is a pleasant 90 minute journey away passing over the Malahat with it's breathtaking views. Closer by you will find the lovely towns of Ladysmith(25 mins), Saltair, Crofton (from where you can take the ferry to Saltspring Island) Chemainus (with its famous murals), & Duncan (home of the Totems). Or travel over to the wild west coast, passing by Cathedral Grove (approx.45 minutes) with its old growth Cedars some more than 800 years old) through Port Alberni to Tofino( approx 3 hours) & the fabulous Surfing Beaches including Chesterman & Long Beach.Read more

Plus right on your doorstep you have access to miles and miles of trails for walking, hiking, biking, dirt biking, atv'ing etc: etc:
Close by also is Nanoose Bay, Parksville & Qualicum.

NO EXTRA CHARGES ARE MADE TO GUESTS FOR CLEANING IT IS ASKED THAT YOU LEAVE THE PROPERTY IN A CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION, SHOULD EXCESSIVE CLEANING BE REQUIRED THEN A PORTION OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED FOR THIS PURPOSE.

A Deposit of 50% is required when booking and the balance 30 days prior to the commencement of your stay.
Methods of payment are INTERAC e Transfer or cheque in the mail (Canadian bookings) or by credit card through my PayPal account for international bookings.

Cancellation Policy.
More than 90 days from dates a full refund of the deposit (less $50.00 cancellation fee + any costs that were incurred) will be made.
Less than 90 days and more than 30 from dates the deposit will be refunded (less one nights rental, minimum $200.00 + any costs that were incurred)
Less than 30 days deposit is only refundable subject to the property being re-booked for the dates in question., or at the discretion of the owner.
Travel insurance is advised.

The Security Deposit will be returned within 10 - 14 days depending on conditions found in property on inspection.

The rates are for up to 6 adults and two children 12 years or under + up to 2 under 5's (maximum occupancy is 10) there is a additional charge made for a 7th and 8th person over 12. This charge is as follows :- 12 years and under no charge 13 - 17 years $10.00 per person per night or $60.00 per peson per week,18 years and over $20.00 per person per night $120.00 per person per week.

A High Chair, Travel Cot / Play Pen and Toddler bed are all available, there is no charge for these items they are provided as a complimentary service to our guests. (however you are asked to provide your own bedding for the crib and toddler bed) Please let us know if you would like to reserve these items.

Pets may be possible (subject to an additional charge and pet deposit) please contact us to discuss.

  We stayed here for 3 weeks in august/September of 2012. The experience as a whole was more than we expected. Waking up and looking out at the mountains, dinners outside in the sunset and evenings with deers in the yard. Lots of space inside and out for our kid to explore and everything we needed for our stay. Marilyn and family were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

  This house was simply the best! location,view, very friendly, helpful and kind owner. The house was fully loaded with all what we needed for at least 1 week, we came only with our clothes. Honestly this house was beyond my expectation...
