Additional Location Information
This house is far enough from the crowds in Nantucket, yet closer to the supermarket and other services than most other outlying areas on the island. Bike paths will take you either to the picturesque village of Sconset or to the more than 80 miles of Nantucket beaches. The Tom Nevers area of the island features dense natural foliage, a surrounding ring of conservation land, expansive views and miles of secluded beaches. The higher elevation and gentle rises offer cooler breezes than the rest of the island.
For a truly memorable experience, take your four-wheel drive out to secluded Great Point to fish and see the best sunrise on the island!
Enjoy the numerous shops and restaurants, museums, library, art galleries as well as live theater and entertainment. You might even try a historic stroll or even a ghost walk at night!
In town, at the wharves, you can sign up for fishing trips or join available bus, taxi or walking tours of the island.
Short gentle walk to one of the most SECLUDED, CLEAN, PRIVATE salt water beaches on the island.

NYCGreat choice
Left on 08/19/2011 for a stay in August 2011
My gf and I stayed at this cottage for the 2nd time this august. We are very picky about where we stay when we vacation. The cottage is fully supplied with everything you will need on your Nantucket vacation. To mention a few, two bikes with baskets, enough towels to supply an army and even an umbrella for the beach.
The cottage is directly across from the ocean which you can hear at night,
if you sleep with the door for the bedroom deck open. Very calming. The word
that comes to mind is organised when I think of the cottage. It's also very clean! The best part is the owner Frank and Margaret. They want to make your stay as enjoyable and easy as possible. From all the places they suggests for food to always being available if you need to contact them. You will never feel like you are bothering them either.
Living in NYC, we prefer staying away from town. Staying in Toms Nevers allows
you to really appreciate the Island, especially the sunrises from the bedroom
deck. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy. Try not to eat as much as we did!

Suffolk, VirginiaThis is the perfect Nantucket vacation house.

We loved the location and the view. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean and the refreshing breeze blowing through was the perfect combination. Very relaxing! Morning coffee on the balcony looking out over the ocean and the beautiful neighborhood is a great way to start the day. Everything was great in the house and the furnishings and decor are perfect for Nantucket. We look forward to going back again for another vacation.

Lake View New YorkIt was really great & they made us feel really welcomed.

The cottage was really new and clean. Owners greeted us and made us feel welcomed. The only downside is we usually stayed on the water and this was across the street, but beautiful Sconset was really close.

The beautiful beach cottage was just fabulous, very intimate, cozy and relaxing, we just loved the cottage. The location had a wonderful view of the atlantic Ocean, just beautiful. A wonderful place to have shared down time. If interested in picking it up, you are ten minutes to a New England quaint village of Nantucket, great food, wine, shopping and atmosphere. What we like best was the Cottage, location, atmosphere and the town of Nantucket. Can't wait to going back. we would highly recommend. We give it a a+++. Share the experience!

Seymour, CTGreat Nantucket Experience
Left on 01/18/2011 for a stay in August 2010
Stayed for our honeymoon in august. The cottage was well appointed and the location was gorgeous. The property has everything we needed for our stay including beach chairs, lots of towels and a great kitchen. The master bedroom was very comfortable and everything was very high-end and clean. The beach was literally across the steet and down the steps. Surf was pretty rough so not recommended for swimming with small children but was very secluded and beautiful. It's a bit of a drive from town so I would recommend a car, but the taxi service was very good. Overall, was a little bit of a splurge but was well worth it! Would love to come back in the future!
