A great location and fit our needs for this trip.

Left on 12/04/2012 for a stay in November 2012

The resort has a nice setting and good location. The unit was small but accomodating. I was disappointed that when we arrived our stay was not in the computer and if I had not had a paper copy of my confirmation we might not have had a place to stay. The other unfortunate thing was that the heat was not working in our unit and they had a portable heater for us to use.

      Decent location and nice pool.

This resort is near downtown Napa, but not really walking distance. It's an easy bike ride, however. The "cottages" (really just manufactured, tiny, places) are good for 2 people needing a kitchen and a comfortable place to be while in Napa. The resort has some fun wine tastings and meals. They advertise wireless internet access which was sporadic at best. A weak signal and we were constantly getting bumped off. The resort backs up to a great walking/biking trail that takes you directly to the main wine tasting highway. The place is quiet and the staff responds incredibly fast to requests. they have nice bar-b-que patios with several gas grills and outdoor decks for each cottage.

      Sweet sheltered riverside cottages

Left on 08/18/2012 for a stay in May 2012

My husband and I were looking for someplace to stay for a night on our way back from a leisurely trip up the California coast. ResortTime recommended the Napa Valley cottages. They're like little mobile homes in an assortment of bright cheerful colors, lined up along drives in a lovely landscaped resort along the Napa river. They are conveniently close to the riverwalk which you can take into town, a very short stroll. The town is full of shops and restaurants, bars and cafe's. Amenities in the cottages were good, and they were clean and well kept. We really only spent a night there, but we've talked about going back for a longer stay. It's in a very convenient and peaceful location.

We were told we would have stove and dishwasher when we booked. our original reservation was canceled then rebooked by your office.
When we arrived the sheets were dirty and when I asked for room to be serviced with new linens I was Rudley told "this is not a hotel, we only clean rooms weekly. I told her the sheets had stains and to drop off a new set of sheets and towles so I could change them my self and her tone changed. Not cool for 1st time visit, I will never go back to that resort.

Cozy and comfortable and near downtown Napa

Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in July 2012

A friend and I stayed here, we got the "2 bedroom" which is really a 1 bedroom + studio across a private patio. Was very nice. We stayed in the 1 bedroom the first night, its cute and a little snug. Then slept in the studio the next night, it is more open and spacious since the kitchenette is part of the bedroom.

Got a good rate due to last minute availability (had to call though, the website was not up-to-date).

Highly recommend. Near downtown Napa. The full kitchen in the 1 bedroom unit was well equipped. Some neighbors made some noise at night (was right after the 4th of July) but everyone was quiet by 11 PM and it was very quiet in the mornings.

Helpful staff, we wanted to do a BBQ and the propane tanks were being refilled. Saw a guy and he came over and hooked one up for us immediately.

Very short drive to downtown Napa (you could walk).

Patio with 1-br on right and studio on left

We went to this resort just for 1 overnight stay in a weekend Napa valley trip and we were very pleasantly surprised. Very quaint, quiet, charming, right in the middle of Napa. There were 7 of us, so we have a 1 bedroom unit and a 2-bedroom one (which is actually a 1-bedroom and a studio separated by patio). It was wonderful! We sat and atre and talked on the patio, and enjoyed full kitchen. Studio unit could be a little bigger. Even the retro-style heave regular metal keys only added the old-world charm to this place

      Clean, tight for 4 adults

Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012

This rental was very clean - we already understood that it would be quite small, but we were only staying for two nights. The receptionist at check-in was icy and unpleasant, so we were off to a bad start. However, the day staff was much nicer.
We found the itemized price list for each piece of kitchen serveware annoying.
Pool area was nice, but I can imagine it would be uncomfortable when more than 10 people are in the area.
If two couples are travelling, I would suggest two trailers. We were with our adult children so we didn't mind the tight fit.

Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in August 2012

These little cottages/trailers are cute and clean. Nothing fancy. We went with some friends so I upgraded ours so we could share a deck otherwise you may be sharing a deck with someone that you may or may not like and they allow smoking on the decks which would be a huge problem for me. In order to do that one of us rented a studio and the other was a one bedroom. The studio is basically one trailer that is divided in half so all you have is a small limited kitchen counterspace in the bedroom and a small bathroom. The bedroom actually had a King bed and our friends slept great. The one bedroom has a kitchen, family room, decent size bathroom and bedroom with a queen bed. We are used to sleeping on a Calif King, we slept ok, the bed was not bad. If you are traveling with friends or family and you don't mind one studio and one one bedroom and you can manage to get them together, this is a perfect stay to hang out and relax with friends/family I would have loved to stay another night. I probably would not stay here if I had to share a deck with someone I don't know, but that's me. Your door exits on to the deck. The grounds are beautiful well kept and they are right next to the Napa River that has a walking trail. Staff is super nice. We had one problem with a TV and they were fixing it within minutes.

This is my second stay at RiverPointe and it was great. We had a few issues that got fixed quickly but for the most part a great girlfriends getaway.

The only part I don't like is they make you get a welcome packet from the timeshare desk and they are very pushy.

We've stayed here a few times and love it here. The home was quaint and clean. The grounds are well maintained and safe. It so nice to have a living room and kitchen. The director of events (or hospitality) was awesome! We had never participated with any events but she sold us on the Wine Tasting event. They had wine tasting and food that she prepared herself. The event was so much fun. We didn't even have to leave the resort that night. So, we've stayed at hotels in Napa before but it is so nice to chill in your own cottage. :)

We were so impressed by River Point! It was the best place we have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend this place. It is located right on the Napa River and at the bottom of the Napa Valley wine trail. You are very close to stores, restaurants and the wine trail. The accommodation surpassed our expectations 10 fold. They offered a breakfast where we were give all the information for the week on planning outings and their schedule for free wine tasting held right on site. If you are planning a trip to Napa Valley don't pass up staying at River Point. They even supplied the detergent and fabric softener for the laundry which was free!

We really enjoyed our week with family at RiverPointe. We traded our time share week to stay there. The cottages were clean and quiet. We enjoyed the free wine tastings on site as well as many others in the area. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The limo tour of San Francisco scheduled through the front desk was great. Hector is the best! We never would have accomplished as much on our own. Thanks to everyone. We hope to stay again in the future.
