My husband & I met two other couples in Napa for a week of celebrations. One of the couples stayed with us in this house. We had a lovely time. It is very conveniently located. The beds are comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. There were spices and other miscellaneous condiments there that made it easy to prepare simple foods without having to spend $$ on those items. The backyard is very nice. My only complaint is that neighbors were a bit loud the afternoon I tried to nap in the gazebo, but what can you do? Just bad luck on my part, nothing the owners could do. Very quiet at night! Overall, very lovely! Highly recommend!

Spokane, WashingtonGreat location to gather with friends and relax.
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This house was great for our college reunion with close friends. There was ample space with many activities at the house and around the neighborhood. Some of us hung out around the fire pit both in the morning and afternoon. Others went for walks and runs and the rest of us cooked and watched basketball. The kitchen was supplied with many of the basics (spices, olive oil, cream, sugar, coffee) so we didn't have to spend extra on those items. The hot tub was great for evening soaks and fun conversations. The owners were great. Easy to work with and very helpful. It was an easy walk to downtown if you prefer to eat out but the deck and private backyard of the house rivals any ambiance you will find downtown.

Very well stocked with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Nice seating around the fire pit and on the front porch. Great for 2 couples who want some privacy as 2 bedrooms were up and 1 down. Really close to city center. Definitely a repeat customer

Our stay at Magnolia House a week ago was one of the highlights of our vacation. We took full advantage of the grill, the hot tub, the back yard and the quaint, comfortable interior and they all contributed to a relaxing and memorable stay. The owner clearly takes pride in the house and her recommendations and attention to detail with directions and instructions helped make our stay go smoothly and really helped us have a great experience in Napa. Next time we are in town, we'll definitely plan to come back to Magnolia House.

Lovely rental in very quite residential neighborhood. Spotless interior, great out door area with fire pit and hot tub. Master bedroom on the main level. Although we only used the coffee maker, refrigerator and wine glasses, the kitchen was upscale quality, great appliances, granite counter top, lots of dishes and glasses. Pantry was nicely stocked. Great place for teens to stretch out and relax while parents were visiting wineries. The only caveat that I have is that this is a very quite neighborhood. The owners were upfront about the neighborhood and it was perfect for our group but others might like it as much. Walking to many restaurants, shopping and bike rental. Mexican grocery within one block had fabulous breakfasts, enough for two to split. Deli great too.

Great location; easy walk to downtown Napa restaurants and shops. Manager Suzy was great to work with as we planned our girls' trip to Wine Country. Lots of space--we had five women with living area and kitchen big enough for all. Spent most days/early evenings sightseeing; we did our own cooking in the backyard. Gas grill, fire pit, hot tub, patio furniture...all in a very private back yard. Suzy recommended a limo service and we were picked up at our front door. Rented home through Homeaway.com. We rented property in Napa for four nights then SanFrancisco for three nights. Need a car in Napa/Sonoma unless you want to hire a limo at $60+ per hour. We rented car at SFO, did Napa/Sonoma first, then headed to SanFran for the second half of our vacation and returned the car. You don't want or need a car in SanFranscisco. Ride back to the airport was not expensive. With 5 people sharing lodging costs, we had everything we needed for $82 per person per night so we didn't have to eat out for all of our meals.

Central, but quiet location. Clean, with well equipped and updated bathrooms and kitchen. The hot tub was great. Bevys around the outdoor fire pit were a bonus! All arrangements flowed smoothly. There were three of us, which meant which each had our own bedroom. One of the rooms had two beds though, so we could have easily had a fourth. Two thumbs up from us . . . . we would definitely stay there again.

The house, and location, were perfect. This was our 2nd time to rent a house in Napa during Christmas and this was the best by far. The location was great and within easy walking of downtown, restaurants, clubs, shops, etc. We had one minor happening, the DVD player went out but John came right over, took out the old unit and went into town and purchased a new one. By the time we returned in the afternoon, problem solved. The location is also great for hitting the wine trail as it is a short distance from Highway 29 and the trail. We would recommend this house to anyone planning a trip to Napa. Thanks to John and Susy!!

Jonesborough, TnNicely appointed house in a good location
Left on 10/13/2011 for a stay in October 2011
the house is an older house, but it has been remodeled and updated. The house was very well stocked with everything that you would expect to find at home. The kitchen was especially well stocked if you like to cook, and even has a bbq grill out back. One thing that I didn't find mentioned in the description in the listing is the washer and dryer (also complete with supplies). The only thing I don't really agree with is that it's within walking distance to everything. While you're only a couple of blocks from the edge of downtown, it's not quite just a casual stroll to anywhere you want to go. That said, all things considered, we definitely plan on staying there again on our next trip simply because it's a nice property in a good location inside the city of Napa.

Left on 09/15/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Staying at the Magnolia house was a home away from home experience...elegant but comfortable. An addtional perk was being within 10 minutes walking distance to downtown Napa. Having traveled with another couple it was nice to be able to walk to different resturants, when we could not agree on where to go. ZuZu was our favorite! The house was also so spacious that each couple was very comforable and we each had plenty of room to spread out. On my next trip to Napa/Sonoma we will defiantely stay at the Magnolia house again! Also it is exactly like the pictures Suzy has posted. Don't hesitate stay here!

A group of us rented this house for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! The outside of the house was adorable, the inside was spacious and clean, and the backyard was fantastic! We grilled out the first night we were there and enjoyed the hot tub! We'll absolutely rent the house again the next time we're in Napa! Can't say enough great things about it!!

Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We traveled with 2 families -- 2 sets of parents, an aunt and 2 twenty+ year olds and this house was perfect for us. There was plenty of space in the gathering areas, a wrap around porch and a beautiful backyard with hot tub, fire pit and lovely gardens. The house was stocked with spices, condiments, and all the necessary cooking utensils. There is a great Mexican market just down the street. We would highly recommend Magnolia House to others.

Louisville, KYGreat House with Great Location!
Left on 04/19/2011 for a stay in April 2011
We stayed at Magnolia House for three nights with two other couples, and we loved it. The landscaping was perfect, the backyard was picturesque and private, and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day of stomping grapes (or rather, imagining someone else stomping grapes). The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, and even some things we never even realized we needed. The curving staircase is gorgeous, the house is well furnished, and the beds were all very comfortable. We enjoyed the wraparound porch as well. It was an easy walk to Sweetie Pies, and we also ate at two other nearby downtown restaurants.

The Magnolia house is as comfortable as your own home! We were in a perfect location for walking to Old Town Napa and just far enough off the busy streets to not notice the traffic. The land scaping is serene and gorgeous. The house is comfy, clean and carefully stocked. This amazing home exceeded my expectations on every level. I will definetely suggest this house to friends and family. Thank you Suzy for everything!

We had a great time staying at Magnolia House. It felt like home. I've rented several places in the past through vrbo and this house by far has been the best experience. The house is extremely comfortable and furnished with many supplies that I would have at home as well. The location was better than we expected. It was literally walking distance to downtown Napa and great food and wine tastings. The owners were so nice and accommodating. I didn't want to leave.

Left on 01/09/2011 for a stay in December 2010
My family and I really had a great time in Napa, and it was mainly because we were able to stay at Magnolia house. We were pleasantly surprised with the spacious living space and its homey ambiance. Everything about the house - its cozy bedrooms and living room, well-stocked kitchen and relaxing garden -- made for a memorable family vacation. Checking in was a cinch and Suzy was very helpful with any questions we had during our stay. The maps and guides about Napa and its wineries was also very helpful in planning our daily activities. The 3 nights we stayed in Napa was just too short! Will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your home with us, Suzy!

We were so impressed with this house! The house is everything that they show in the pictures & more! It was so cozy and comfortable and with all the provided linens, towels and basics, we felt 'at home' right away. My husband and I were on vacation with another couple and there was plenty of room for us, the house would actually be the perfect size for three couples.
Since we had never been to Napa before, we weren't sure where the best place to stay would be. While this house was very close to downtown Napa, we found that downtown is a practically a ghost-town during the week (especially after 6pm) and it was a bit of a trip out to the vineyards. Overall, the house was great and it was a lovely stay! -

The Magnolia House exceeded our expectations. The house was clean, well decorated, and beautifully laid out. It was the perfect place to stay for a group of professional women looking to explore Napa and all the wineries. It was a short distance from wineries, a downtown area and parks. We would definitely recommend staying in this home.
