I almost wanted to give a bad review so I could keep this place a secret. But, that just wouldn't be fair to the lovely owners.
This place is great. It's right on the water with huge windows that take full advantage. It comes equipped with absolutely everything you would want - BBQ, hot tub, music player, satelite TV, and more. It also feels very cottage-y, which I love. The owners were easy to deal with and promptly answered any questions I had.
Location is great and its just a short ferry ride (free!) away from all the attractions of Prince Edward County.
Definitely recommend! -

The cottage is delightful with a view of the lake as soon as you open your eyes. What a way to wake up. All the conveniences are there. If you want it is easy to do some sight seeing in beautiful Bath or Picton My preference was to stay glued to the deck and enjoy the scenery. We loved it and are planning another week next year.

Stan is a great host and very easy to work with, everything about our rental experience was easy. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. The views are amazing, and there are many places to sit and enjoy the fresh air from the front porch to the deck overlooking the lake, to the chairs near the firepit (also overlooking the lake) to the side deck (where the hot tub is). Plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed venturing out and taking the Glenora Ferry over to Lake on the Mountain (wonderful restaurant there) and into Picton. Many wineries are nearby as well. One note - you don't need to bring pillows, just sheets and pillowcases. We'll definitely keep this getaway on our list of places to return to someday.

I went with a friend to celebrate a birthday away from the husband and kids. There were fresh flowers when we arrived - a very nice touch. As soon as we walked in we immediately felt calm and relaxed. It was clean and had every amenity for a weekend away for 2-4 people. It had the best views of the water from every room. We saw a family of ducks daily and herons. Lots of fish if you are into fishing. It was off a paved road, but far enough away that you could not hear vehicles. We never saw anyone or heard anyone the 3 days we were there. It was extremely private. There was a great fire pit and a hot tub, but we were so relaxed just sitting on the huge deck in the comfy chairs talking and relaxing that we never bothered to use them. We did use the wood stove and it was great on a cold night. The owners had plenty of dishes, condiments, cleaning supplies, wood, pillows, and blankets. I definitely want to go back with my husband for a romantic getaway. I think it would have been a great place to go boating. It would have been nice if the bathrooom was bigger, but that is to be expected in the country. I have rented 6 cottages and this is the only one I would rent again!

As far as cottages go this was a very clean quiet and peaceful location. Stan and his wife have all you need there to make this a very relaxing week or weekend. The hot tub was very well kept as well. The fishing is good off the long dock and they are pet friendly. A bonus for the dog owner. We are going back this year and will be there for a much needed week of peace and quiet.

Located is perfect, distance to shopping was not too far, and everything we needed was there at the cottage. Stan and his wife were extremely friendly and easy to deal with. It was a good choice, a pleasure, and we will be coming back next year.
