Grounds are ocean front, made up of 2 story buildings amidst established & quiet tropical grounds on the west shore. Tidal beach & a wider sandy beach with a park a stroll away. Situated in the little town of Honokowai which is 5 miles from Lahaina, the hub for: shopping, the Cannery Mall, historic sites, excellent restaurants, galleries & fun night life. Maui Sands is next door to the famos Ka'anapoli beach with it's hotels, spas, golfing, restaurants & close to Kapalua & more beaches & golf. The main street in Honokowai has a local fish market, casual dining, local plate dishes, farmers market & great deli, rental shops, an ABC convenience store, super market(walking distance), rental shops & much more! You are very close to more wonderful beaches:Kapalua, Kaanapoli, the famous Blow Hole to name a few beautiful spots. The Sugar Train is a family outing, it runs along the Honoapi'ilani Hwy. only a few minutes away. There is a local bus service to Lahaina & beyond The condo has it's own designated parking spot. Parking is included in the rate & there are no added resort fees. The parking lot is situated one building away from the condos location which is really wonderful, you don't here parking lot noise...only the ocean & birds! (we have supplied a grocery cart for wheeling your supples from the car).

The owners were a pleasure to deal with. Contact, email exchanges, and then done, so easy.
When a person decides to go to Maui they have a mental image of paradise and try to apply it to the island. Usually reality can't meet up to expectations and at the risk of doing so my experience again surprised and delighted me.
Maui is a beautiful island, with a nice mixture of guests and residents to give it a real laid back feel. Amenities are ridiculously close and available (my wife is a vegetarian and there is an organic farmers market across the street from the resort, cognizant that there are a lot of tourists wandering around. The beaches are amazing are and just down from Maui Sands (a nice walk) you have access to parasailing, surfing, kayaking, and a boardwalk ...
The unit is very nicely decorated with a modern interior and appliances. Approximately 40 feet from the sea wall, the sound of waves crashing is a constant white noise that is soothing and isolates you from inane chatter. The unit feels accessible with beach chairs, beach towels, beach mats, spices and utensils to make you feel immediately settled, your sole concern being food and relaxation. There is a pool and laundry facilities on the premises, which is really convenient if you plan on an adventurous, outdoor vacation.
The owner was very responsive and wanted to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and were relaxed. We were and had an incredible time. Mahalo!

My husband and I stayed at this condo to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The attention to detail was evident in the decor. The creative use of mirrors gave a "right on the ocean" feel to the unit even though it was a few yards' walk to the beach. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked, and the tile throughout was a lovely touch. The pictures on the website accurately depicted the look and feel of the unit. The only drawback was that the parking was not in the lot directly next to the unit, but it was not a terribly long walk from the car.
We would definitely stay here again. The snorkeling here was not as amazing as that at Honolua Bay or Kapalua, but those are a very short drive away. It was also great to be within close walking distance to an aBC store, a fish market, and some lovely local "plate" lunch restaurants.

Thank you Diane! So happy you enjoyed our condo in Maui. I wanted to make the condo as comfortable as possible, so it would be a relaxing, stressless time for all who visited. Because it is such a great location it is nice to "stay home" for dinner & enjoy the amazing sunsets.
For future guests: I would just like to mention that the parking is in the complex, just a building distance away, which, after staying in a unit on the parking lot was really nice, no parking lot noise, only the sound of ocean! Also, for your convenience there is a grocery basket on wheels for unloading your car of supplies.
