What a charming place to stay for a week! My husband and I and another couple were planning our Christmas vacation trip to Nashville and trying to decide whether we wanted to stay at Opryland Hotel again this year. My husband found this delightful log cabin on the web and we are were so pleased he did. From the first time I talked with the owner Betty Blackwell on the phone, I just knew it was going to be a delightful place to stay. We arrived late in the evening after a 10 hour drive from Virginia and we first saw the tastefully deocrated front porch with Christmas Caroler figures welcoming us. We were so pleased to open the door and find a charming, spacious, "picture perfect", immaculate cottage awaiting our arrival. The extra decorating touches of a small christmas tree next to the fireplace and other taseful decorations made the cottage even more inviting. The Great room with gas logs was spacious and provided ample, comfortable seating for all of us when we were ready to kick back after days out sightseeing. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything one would need for sharing simple snacks or preparing a full meal. Bedrooms were very spacious and located to allow for privacy with each having a private bath. Lori kept things tidy and stocked us with fresh towels daily. We look forward to staying here again in the spring or fall and enjoying the screened in, wicker furnished, back porch and beautiful view of the Cumberland River.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner is very nice and pleasant. This is a very cozy home out far enough to be peaceful, yet it is close to the Opryland Hotel & Mall where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The home is very clean and cozy. The bedrooms are nice and the kitchen is supplied with everything you need. We enjoyed relaxing in the warm living room with the huge TV. It also has a very nice sun room in the back with great views of the river. Much better than staying in a hotel! I would definitely consider staying here again and I recommend this to anyone looking to get away for some time with a loved one.

We have enjoyed several stays at this cabin, most recently, last weekend. It is beautifully decorated with attention to quality and detail to assure the utmost in comfort and relaxation. It is in a secluded neighborhood for peace and quiet, but just minutes from everything you want to see and do in the Nashville area. It truly is a home away from home, and Betty is the consummate hostess. Can't wait to return!

I spent 3 days at a conference center at the Opryland Hotel and spent the evenings enjoying the screened in back porch overlooking the river. Being here was a truely wonderful way to spend a week working but still feeling like I was on vacation.

This was truly a jewel of a find for us. When we are away from home, we enjoy having some room to move around. I'd much rather stay in a home than a small stuffy "room" with a bed at a hotel. Betty was an excellent hostess, very hospitable and she is just next door and you can tell she is genuine in wanting to make sure your stay is comfortable and that your needs are taken care of. I loved the back deck overlooking the Cumberland River and the location is excellent! Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. As far as we are concerned this is the only place we will stay when we are back in Nashville! Thanks again, Betty!

The cabin was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, but spent most of our time out on the screened-in back porch. Both the cabin and the back yard are beautiful, overlooking the Cumberland River. It is located in a great neighborhood, making you feel safe and is close enough to the Grand Ole Opry and Mills Mall! It was an awesome experience! Can't wait to go back!!
