After all the craziness of a wedding, it was so wonderful to come out to Rockhaven. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The grounds were breathtaking and the cabin was immaculate and perfectly decorated. I can not speak high enough of Nate and Rhonda. They are such genuine and kind people. We were close enough to shop and enjoy Nashville, but secluded enough to make a romantic steak dinner out on the bbq that was off our deck and watch the stars at night (inside and out).

If you are a couple or single this must be one of the first rentals you consider for the Nashville area. The hardest part of finding this property is taking the correct exit from the Interstate. Then it is just a matter of taking the correct left, right and left onto the property drive.
Park your car at the rear and climb your private deck to enter the rear door. Prepare to be charmed when you enter this immaculately clean cottage. It will, at first, be hard to take it all in. On your right you will see a wonderful kitchen. With all the restaurants around you will probably only need the kitchen for snacks and coffee but everything is there if you are energetic. Then you will see your living area with all the necessities for relaxing and finally to your left the bedroom with the restroom to your left and the jacuzzi to your right. All is delightfully and tastefully furnished.
The cottage is now yours for the duration so pop across to meet the owners, Rhonda and Nate and you will find them as charming as their cottage.
Now all you have to do is have a quick look through the information book that has been left for you. I found it a pleasure to watch the cowboy in the field next door putting his horse through his paces. All at a slow relaxed pace as is everything nearby, especially the friendly geese by the pond. Derek is such a delightful man. Of course, we southerners love a British accent and I could have listened to him talk for hours. We are so pleased to have folks from all over the world and it makes us feel so good to know Derek found our place comfortable and accommodating. I must say, he took the utmost care of our cottage and left it clean and neat, along with the most beautifully written comments in our guest book. Thank you!

Upon arriving at Rock Haven, we were surprised that the beautiful photos on the website truly depicted the property and the cottage. We went to the main house, and were greeted by Rhonda, who immediately gave me a big welcome and a hug. We chatted for a few minutes, and she told us that she would be giving us some fresh eggs! We then went back to the cottage to unpack and become acclimated. As we started to look around, we realized that it had just about everything that you could possibly need (including a very comfortable bed). But aside from that, the tasteful decor and attention to detail was amazing!!! The place exuded warmth and gave us a "home away from home" feeling. The jacuzzi was a romantic plus! It was located about 25 minutes outside of downtown Nashville, and gave you a sense of serenity after a hectic day. Rhonda's husband, Nate, grew up on the farm, and literally built the rental cottages as well as their house. The outside was incredible-the pond, the waterfall near our deck with a ball that changes colors at night, the pretty flowers and trees, the horses, and the front porch swing all added to feeling the pastural views. We were there for 9 days and were happy that it was available and that we had so much more privacy than staying in a noisy hotel. There are 3 cottages in total, so if this one is available, inquire about other vacancies. We highly recommend this beautiful farm that wants a serene place to stay that is accessible to the city via major highways. Don't worry about locating this place- Rhonda will send you detailed directions from the airport.

A complete Cottage with all amenities needed for a successful stay, perfect for two. All informations given prior were accurate and truthly described the Cottage as it is. The owners prepared for a warm welcome and give all services and support needed. We loved this Cottage and are fully satisfied, it is highly recommended for visitors to Nashville looking for a nice place to stay and be near to all attractions in Nashville and vicinity but have a quite place other time or to relax.

We stayed at RockHaven's Magnolia cottage for a week. We had decided the only way we could have a peaceful worry- free vacation was to bring our little dog Freddie with us and we were all welcomed by Rhonda and Nate when we arrived. The cottage was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. We loved the beautiful landscaped property and took several walks each day. We really enjoyed visiting with Rhonda and Nate and of course Mr. Skipper! I have to say we have never had such a relaxing and peaceful vacation! The location was perfect for golfing, shopping and going downtown to shop, eat and listen to music. we will definitely return for another stay in this little piece of Heaven in Tennessee.

Nate and Rhonda! The Lord has certainly blessed you all with a little slice of heaven here on earth. I chose to take my 74 year old momma there to create a lasting memory in a slow pace country environment that reflected my childhood. I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of our stay! We both felt as though we were staying at an old friends house. You have not left any detail out in creating the perfect memory maker place for many to share. I hope after many more anticipated trips to your farm someday I will actually be staying at "an old friends" house! The Magnolia Cottage was so wonderful. More than we expected! It was like having a 'home' to come back to every evening and so relaxing. Beautiful setting and just so nice.
The book Rhonda put together with all of the local attractions and restaurants was great! They really put a lot into everything they do and it shows. We went into down town a couple of nights, took in some live music and ate some fantastic places. Nothing disappointed and we had a great time in Nashville but, it was nice to get 'home' to our cottage, away from the city and to be surrounded by the beauty Nate and Rhonda have created. I can't say enough good about our experience at Rockhaven and the hospitality we received.

When we have guests like Brad & Carmen, we know why we do this. They were so respectful and kind, not many guests leave our rentals as clean and cared for as this couple did. We were looking for a nice place to stay for a weekend vacation in Nashville. What a gem to find Rhonda & Nate's Magnolia cottage! We fell in love with the cabin... and Nate and Rhonda! Besides being extremely professional and efficient with our reservastions, they were also the nicest people ever! What a wonderful experience! We were so pleased with the cottage... it was the perfect place for our stay. Every detail... from the basics for a comfortable stay... to the care that is obviously taken to furnish and decorate both the cottage and the grounds. This is obviously done with much care and love! It made it all the more special reading about Rhonda and Nate's family history in the guest book. Which also included all the information you could need for a visit to Nashville! It's a short drive into Nashville to enjoy the sights, and was so welcome to have the cottage to come home to at night :) We highly recommend a stay in any of thier rentals. We're looking forward to when we can come back for our next visit! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality :)

This place is clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for a two-person getaway. The owners have been welcoming and accommodating, and the cabin amenities were just as promised. Cute vacation spot with a great family story--it's a 5th generation family farm--close enough to get to Nashville quickly but away from the bustle of the city. Nice, soft towels, clean floor, and even had a propane grill on the back porch. Great value for the money. Would definitely come back. All of the amenities that one would expect with a great country cabin setting. A very clean cabin, well groomed grounds. Absolutely wonderful!
Rhonda and Nate were extremely helpful with the right things to do in the neighbor hood from shopping, dinning, and sight seeing. Great friendly and professional hosts who make you feel comfortable and welcome. -

My Wife and I stayed for two nights in this lovely little cottage in Mt. Juliet. The property is close to Nashville and competitively priced compared to the area hotels. We made particular use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare some meals when we weren't dining in the city which was a nice (and more affordable) alternative to eating out for every meal every day like we normally would on vacation. The cottage was a perfect little, relaxing weekend getaway and I would happily book with Rock Haven again for a return trip.

This is by far the most comfortable, relaxed accommodation we have discovered while traveling throughout the USa. The Magnolia Cottage is fitted out so beautiful, the minute you walk in, you feel at home. The location is great, about 30mins from Nashville, set on a peaceful property.

I visited Rockhaven January of 2012 and fell in love immediately. You can not find a more inviting, comfortable, peaceful setting to come to relax. It is very conveniently located to Nashville and venues surrounding the area. Also close to grocery stores, malls as well as restaurants. The cottage was immaculately clean and had been readied with lamps on, gas logs turned up and soft music playing. I am in the process now of booking on two different occasions this year. I can assure anyone, you will not be disappointed. The owners have done an amazing job with Rockhaven and you feel it's welcoming personality as you turn into the grounds.

We are from a small town in North Carolina and came to the Nashville area for the first time this year. We spent four nights in Uncle Pete's Cabin and I wish we had booked four more! We loved the comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The Jacuzzi was so relaxing. We were so impressed with Rhonda's design of the addition, Nate's talent for building it and again, Rhonda's ability to furnish and decorate the cabin so that it feels just like a warm and welcoming home. We enjoyed just walking around the property, looking at the old barn that's just behind the cabin amid the grove of trees. We were excited to learn that Josh Turner's new video, "Find Me a Baby" was filmed at Rockhaven with that old barn, the pond and Rhonda & Nate at the entrance gate! Can't wait to see it on TV. Everything Rhonda told us about Rockhaven was true, even better than we hoped for. Thank you, Rhonda & Nate for creating such a splendid place that you share with travelers. We read entries in your guest book from folks as far away as australia and Germany and as close as just down a couple of streets from you. This perfect little cottage has something for any couple. Whter you are honeymooning, need a place to crash while you check out Nashville during the day or just need a place for a long needed rest, it's private, beautiful and perfect. Everything you need is provided for you and it is the prettiest, cleanest rental you'll every experience. We are 69 and 74 and travelled a lot for business when we were younger and on many years of vacations, both in the country and outside of it. So we've stayed in many types of place. In these days, we like to take a week to rest and recharge our batteries, just a quite place to walk, rest, read, fix our own meals, etc. This cottage is so beautifully decorated that I enjoyed just walking around looking at her little treasures. The landscape is beautiful with all the privacy in the world and the kitchen had everything I needed but the food - and I brought that. Nate and Rhonda are sweet and readily available to chat with or offer recommendations. Their welcome binder tells you everything you need to know about the history of their cottages, the sightseeing adventures in the area and simple things like grocery stores and shopping nearby. Our cottage has a beautiful two person jacuzzi tub with a romantic chandilier above it, flatscreen tv available from dining area, setting area or bed, more amenities than you could list. If this were a major hotel it would be 5 star for sure. I was already trying to set my husband up for our next visit before I left! Don't hesitate another minutes, rent this cottage before someone else does!

We enjoyed meeting Judi and Neil, we connected right away on being small business owners and all the work involved. We shared conversations about farm living, needing a retreat from our busy, hectic lives and how they loved being here where it's quiet and private. I was able to share some of our organic eggs, from our sweet little Buff Orpington hens. We hope Judi and Neil will make our place their "home away from home" again next year!
