Our Pico de Loro experience wouldn't be possible without the very accommodating Ms. Mary Jean Ner. We rented her condo unit for a very reasonable price and the room was complete of practically everything. You just gotta bring the food that you're going to cook and thats it you're ready to go! The room was spacious enough and it has a spectacular view of the serene skies and the amazingly beautiful mountains. The staff of Pico de Loro were also very good in rendering their luxurious service. We didn't have to drive our car around to see the whole place and in going to-and-from the beach club and the country club bec they have a free shuttle service. The place and the experience was definitely awesome! Will come back soon!

From Manila, it took us 3.5 hrs drive to Pico de Loro. There are a lot of street signs so it is impossible to get lost.
Been here twice and I can say that the place is really beatiful, best Swimming Pool so far. Place is new, nice furnitures and beautiful resort .
Sand is grey btw.
There are a lot of things Pico de Loro offers but for lease, from non motorized to motorized.
Food is average, prices are sirprisingly cheaper than other resorts but the service at the Sands Restaurant is really bad, incomplete order and staffs are unfriendly. They shold hire more energetic and attentive people.
Wifi is commendable, I can use my Ipad while sitting at the shoreline.
Will definitely come back for a weekend get away -

its my 3rd time in pico de loro and i am still excited just like the 1st time. jupon entering the entrance gate, u will notice a small ranch. at the left side. at the roundabout,far left is the st.therese chapel.they held mass every sunday 11am. turning to the right is going to the beach club.this is where the beach is located plus 2 swimming pools, the sun coral cafe.they have locker free of charge plus sauna,for the use of towel,50pesos charge each.food in cafe is ok and not too expensive. our place is located at jacana.first you shld register at the country club,settle the 1k/person as entrance fee and use of the resort'S amenities for the duration of our stay. at the country club,theres kids playroom for 100pesos tje whole day, a pool, billiard and bowling hall,resto. we rented miss jean's place for 3days and its worth it coz it has an aircon unit, tv, kitchen wares and utensils.we were 8 adults and we slept comfy.theres also shuttle van (eco friendly,electrical) which is also free of charge. there are sports activities for additional chages and a Segway!!! among all these amenities and freebies, the place is very relaxing and enjoyable, child friendly too. you may contact miss jean, heres her mobile no. +639357979636...

We were really surprised that the unit we rented was very clean. Everything was well arranged. The aircon, refrigerator, toaster, etc. were all working well. Well, everything except for the bidet. I really had no idea why it didn't work but I guess it was pretty manageable. We had no problems checking in. Once we arrived there, we were already allowed to go inside the room immediately. The beach club and country club is located on other areas. However, there would absolutely be no problem getting there since shuttles are always available inside Pico De Loro's compound. You can ride them for free to get to the other areas in the resort.
There are lots of activities to do when you get to the beach club. You can go kayaking, jet skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and other more. They all come for a price. And that would be deducted to your prepaid card which you'll have to buy for P1000.00(consumable). You can then reload it if you want to. The card is required if you're gonna make purchases or use amenities. There's also a guest fee of 1000/pax if you're a guest. The beach club also featured a very nice pool. We were kinda disappointed that we didn't visit the country club immediately since their pool was better. We only saw it when it was already evening. There are also lots of activities there like video games, bowling, billiards, and a lot of sports.
Never go here via commute. You would definitely have a hard time.
Miss Jean answers/replies immediately so we had no problems at all. We will definitely go back here thanks to her.

We have stayed here for a day. overnight only. The location is a bit far; however, it is definitely worth the long drive. i would recommend that you go here, early because you can go to their beach and pool just before check in which i find very convenient. the unit is clean. they have utensils and rice cooker. all that you need for cooking. :) You can cook inside their unit. Downside is their heater. its not working when we were there.. :( The pool during weekdays is up until 10 pm but they said that if its weekend its until 12. but we'd rather go here during weekdays as the crowd is less which we did. The staff is friendly. the only downside here is that you would need to pay for a fee of php1000. This is mandatory and we were not told of this information. This is consumable and is reloadable. pretty much like a powercard of timezone. in denominations of 500 and 1000 only. so if your card has 300 left and you need to eat at their restaurant which is coral cafe, i would suggest that you put reload it again. The cafe is not much expensive, i can compare it to max's resto. their kare-kare is mouth-watering. we will definitley go back here. Thank ms jean.

The resort itself was gorgeous. The food was above average and reasonably priced for resort food. The view was amazing and the amenities are great.
The most difficult issue was getting there and home. From Manila is was a 4-5 hour bus ride to Nasagbu (even though different websites will tell you, you can make it in three, I dont see how thats possible). Once we got to Nasagbu, we were told that we could easily hail a ride to the country club for 400-500 pp. The lowest we could find it for was 600pp and that was in a tricycle scooter. We were told that it was only 12-15 km from Nasagbu, but it was actually 25 km, and took another hour from the town. Upon arriving, check in was very difficult and we waited outside at the front gate for approx. 30 mins. And after traveling for 12 hours, that wasnt ideal. We were also unaware how far out it is from everything. Without your own transportation, you will be stuck in the resort and rely on them for everything. None of the amenities are included, even the required beach towel (to follow the dress code). There is not wifi in the room, which we were unaware of, and we did not have cable until our second night there. The large swimming pool was under construction while we were there as well, which was a bit disappointing. We were lucky enough to ride back to town in the employee van on the way home, as the quote from the only driver available was 1500pp to nasugbu. It was a lovely trip, but not an easy one. I would recommend it if you have your own transportation though. That was the biggest issue.Response from mary jean - 02/07/2013

Ms. Mary jean was so accomodating. She immediately answer my inqueries. Our trip here was not planned.I just called her to ask if the following day unit is available and she said yes so I deposited the money in her bank account and after few hours i already have the docs need to be presented in the area. The unit is clean rand very near in the clubhouse you can walk or you can still use the shuttle. Staff in pico de loro are very polite from the time we arrive they help us with our things to bring in the unit. My family and friends enjoyed the beach and the pool. And i enjoyed playing the badminton. My son in the wii room. All of us is so busy using the amenities.

i was looking for a good place to spend my vacation with my family until i found ms.mary jean's ad online. couldn't believe that for an affordable price, we could have an access to pico de loro, which is an exclusive beach and country club.
we also had a comfortable stay at ms. mary jean's unit. it's neat and complete with cooking utensils, refrigerator, microwave, etc. the staff were also friendly and accommodating. sulit na sulit ang bayad :)

The resort is very nice. Perfect for family vacation. Condo unit is spacious and cooking utensils are complete. Thanks Ms Jean for visiting on the same day, we got discount on guest fee. Staffs are very friendly. Be care when using the key on the resort locker. Keys are made on not so good material, we broke one of the keys and we pay P750.

Pico de Loro's one of the nicest resorts in the Philippines. We really enjoyed our stay! Very comforting and healing. :))
But what I and my Family cannot forget was how we were accommodated by the owner, Ms. Ner. She was nice and even gave in to our close to impossible request, the last minute. :))

Pico de Loro has amazing pools and views especially at night. My kids loved both the country and beach club. The money your are paying for the rent and club dues are worth it! I would recommend for the family to just cook in the condo or eat at Dalampasigan in Nasugubu. Restaurant inside the club is expensive. There's always something for everybody.. Several infinity pools, beach club, bowling, kidz club, library, and a shuttle service, etc. The staff were nice to accomodate my mom since she needed to borrow a wheelchair. I love the chapel too..breathtaking.. Good place to reflect. Condo is good for 6 people. The only thing I didnt like is the water in the bathroom is yellowish. You have to let it run for about 15 minutes.
The condo is complete with cooking utensils,refrigerator and microwave. Just bring toiletries and lots of towels!! You have to stay at least 3 days 2 nights.Response from mary jean - 06/18/2012

Pico de Loro has all the amenities that a great family vacation would require... it has a nice beach, bowling alleys, billiards, kid's playroom, restaurants, swimming pool, and a lot more.
The staff are friendly and accomodating. The owner is very much easy to talk to.
Some reminders though for condo renters:
1.) bring drinking water (it so happened that they ran out of the 5 gallon ones when we got there).
2.) there are additional fees for each individual at entrance subject to peak and off peak rates. so need to add this in overall costing.
All in all it was a great stay and my family loved it. Thanks MaryJean for the nice stay! Til next time!

Very Nice accomodation, friendly staff, rooms are clean, but very expensive food at the club house, if you are on tigth budget. Its better to cook in the apartment. But over all we enjoy it and it is a good experience!

The place is really perfect if you want to take some time off your busy shedule. The view from the room we stayed was really relaxing as it's situated across the mountain. The beach has fine sand and clear water. There are no neighboring resorts that's why you'll get to enjoy your privacy. There are a lot of amenities aside from the pool. The pools, by the way, are amazing at night as they have underwater lights. I'll recommend the place to my friends and will come back as much as I could.

My recent vacation to Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club was enjoyable, to say the least. In just 2 ½ hours, I was far away from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila and surrounded by the tranquil environment of Pico de Loro. What made my vacation even more pleasurable was the condo unit that I rented from Ms. Mary Jean Ner. Wanting a cozier and bigger place than a hotel room, I looked for a condominium unit inside Pico de Loro that can comfortably accommodate me and my companions.
Thankfully, I came across Ms. Ner's condo unit, which was being rented for a reasonable price. My considerations for a "value for money condo rental” were size, cleanliness, and complete furniture and equipment. All these were fully met by Ms. Ner's unit. For a group of 6 persons, her studio unit comfortably housed us. It has a dining table, small kitchen with appliances and other kitchenware, which allowed us to enjoy home-cooked meal during our vacation. Of course, it also has the basic requisites of cable television and strong air-conditioning. The beds were also swathed in fresh linens and the entire place was clean. Although the unit is designed to be minimalist with its white walls and bare essentials, it was still cozy enough to make our stay pleasurable.
If you want a home away from home while in Pico de Loro, I suggest renting Ms. Ner's condominium unit; it completes the relaxing atmosphere that you would want for your vacation.Response from mary jean - 06/18/2012

A friend recommended to try her newly discovered private Beach-Club in Nasugbu, Batangas, roughly 2hrs from the city proper of manila. I booked for an overnight stay,Php 4500 good for 6 persons. I paid it through bank deposit, emailed the deposit slip to the owner of the condo, then she emailed me the authorization letter allowing me to stay at her place for a night. Transaction was quite fast!
As we arrived in the beach-club, we registered using the authorization letter and we pay Php 500/adult, which is reasonable for a clean, superb pools and beach. The key was given to us and we went to the room, it was a studio type condo which has 2 beds, 1 bed is about king sized the other was a double-deck. It is clean and comfortable. It has a huge flat screen TV, which has many channels to choose from. The kitchen was great too! We cook our own food there. Refrigerator is also available. Its like you're in your own home.
The main event was to the beach and pools. the place has two clubs, the beach club and country club.. the beach club, where obviously the beach is there, an infinity pool is also there. it has so many huts available for you to sit on. a restaurant is available and foods there are reasonable delicious! transferring fro, the beach club to the country club is made easy because of the free shuttle service. the country club is compose of different kinds of pools.. basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, gaming area(ps3, xbox) etc..
What is great there behind the place was superb.. the beach/country club is Wifi hot spot.. I was able to share my pictures directly to the internet to my friends!!!
I strongly recommend the place for family, friends and lovers!
It is relaxing happy and affordable!
