The Butterfly Suite is a great little new-construction cabin with nice wood paneling and floors near Natural Bridge in central Ky. Although it is very near to other cabins, it is oriented so that it feels (and sounds) secluded. There's a couple flights of stairs to get up to it but it ain't too bad.
The cabin was ready on time and very clean when we arrived.
The hot-tub is covered and two steps from the kitchen/living room door, so it's very nice for wintertime use.
The bedroom is small (but not tiny) and contains a comfy (but squeaky) king-sized bed and a small nightstand.There's no dresser, but that leaves enough floorspace for an air-mattress.
The kitchen has a microwave and stovetop burners, but no oven.
Cabin is about two miles each way hike to the Natural Bridge itself.
The living room has comfy leather recliners and a free-standing gas fireplace that is great for drying hats, gloves, etc.. The tv is nice and has dvd player and basic dish including Hist., Com.,A&E;, Disc, MTV,...
The bathroom is clean and water pressure/temp is very decent.
In winter, the only restaurant very close is at the lodge. Ate there once, two thumbs down.
I won't return to the restaurant but will definitely return to the Butterfly Suite! -

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend with our dog, and had a blast. It's so comfortable and cozy- it is absolutely perfect for a weekend get away. I love this area- there are so many great hiking and running trails nearby. I can't wait to come visit again!
The cabin was clean and well maintained, with everything you need- utensils, linens, etc. It was easy to rent and the manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. -

We had a very nice stay at the Butterfly Suite. It was very quiet with a secluded outside 'spa'. It is a great place for two people. The inside was very cozy. The only draw backs was there was no dressers or closets to put your clothes. Also, you will need to walk up two sets of stairs to reach the cabin.
Overall, it was a great place and a great stay. -

My husband and I have stayed in this suite a couple of times with our small children. It is perfect. I love the private porch that you can sit and enjoy the outdoors. Small kitchen for us to bring our own food and cook ourselves if we choose.
Also no stairs inside, so I could avoid yelling at my 1 year old to stay away. We brought pack n' plays for our children. One stayed out in the main room while the other was in the bedroom with us.
The location is great. Right in the heart of slide KY. I have stayed in other cabins and was surprised to find that the address was only to the check in location and I still had to drive another 10 miles to the cabin.
Jeremy and Sonya, the owners, are there to help and are great people to talk to. They can help you find hiking trails and rock climbing walls. You can't go wrong with this suite for a couple or family with small children.
