Loved the unit! It was perfect. Clean, quiet, accessible and with a gorgeous view. I made the error of assumming that check in was at the unit, and in trying to contact the office, we had to wait and be bounced around phone calls. We were supposed to pick up the keys at the office in the Winn Dixie plaza. The office staff was accommodating, and brought us the check in package to our condo room the following morning. Comped beach chairs and umbrella were a nice perk! Enough household items were supplied for our 3 night stay: TP, PT, dishwashing liquid, garbage bags, soap, towels. In this, they went beyond to please us. In any case, there were some things I was not real keen on, though.
1. We were told the unit had internet. No internet access code was given with our package, even though there was a wireless device for internet in the condo. I called the office to get the code, but had to leave a message with a secretary. No one ever returned my call with the code. I was committed to do work while at Navarre Beach, but was unable to do so. Poor service and no follow up about amenities. Misleading information was given when I booked the room. I needed internet, and was told the condo had it.
2. Saw vacationers one floor below us (to the right, while facing the Gulf) smoking marijuana while sitting in the porch, and in front of a 4 year old. Although this is not Dale Peterson's fault, I find it bothersome that criminal background checks are not run when renting units. Perhaps I expect too much.
Would stay here again, provided we could have internet access. -

As a regular to Navarre Beach and sometimes Okaloosa Island, we are very experienced with the area. This was our first time to stay at Navarre Towers (NT) condo and would recommend it to all others. We really enjoyed the gated NT condo for several reasons. First, Unit 902 was really nice and comfortable. Master bed was comfortable, as were the furniture in the living and dining rooms. We also liked the gated security system and being further down the beach away from the pier. We also loved the geo-thermal heated pool as a respite from the waves and wind.
When we first arrive, we get our groceries for the week and spend a lot of time right at the condo. The condo layout is pretty much always the same, and we enjoy cooking in and fixing snacks during the day. Our only difficulty was that we had forgotten to bring our paperwork along, so check-in was a little difficult, but it all worked out in the end. -

We come to Navarre every year. This was our second time to stay in Navarre Towers and our first time in unit 902. This condo is awesome from the view, the comfy furniture, two beach chairs and an umbrella, and just the simple fact that it is right on the beach, what more could you ask for. We love Navarre, the beach is beautiful the fishing pier is so much fun!!! We will be back next year and will use Dell Peterson again.

We really enjoyed the place. However, the beach chairs were way to close to the people beside us to really realx and let the kids have enough space to play with their sand toys.

This condo is the best place we've stayed in the past 10 years (formerly a Destin vacationer)! The location, the security, you name it, this vacation site was wonderful.
The condo is spacious and nicely decorated with huge washer and dryer. The bathrooms were very large for a condo, the masterbath had two seperate sink areas with generous counter space and a walk in closet. 3 different elevators (one is for sandy/wet and moving bags/groceries, grocery carts and bell carts available in the 1st floor foyer note: move stuff the night before check out or very early check out day, limited carts).
The beach was fabulous and the beach service is the best I've ever seen! We had strong winds and very strong surf (double red flags two days out of our 7 day stay)...lots of large shells but also several man-of-wars. Within in a 1/2 hr of spotting the m.o.w., our beach service was on the phone and had someone collect them (we saw 3 washed up on the beach, none the rest of the trip). With the surf, there was quite a bit of fresh seaweed along the shore...our beach service had it cleaned up before the next day...amazing and quite a job.
Can't say enough about this property...would go into further detail but running our of space.
Only two wishes...that we had known ahead of time how to retrieve the key from the rental property (very close to the rental in driving distance) but when we called the number listed, it took about 9 rings before the on-calls service picked up...I was a little panicky not knowing how to retrieve the keys to the condo...but now I know and it won't be an issue next year.
The pool is shadowed in the afternoons by the buidling next door and located on the frontside of this location. Since we love the beach, this was not too much of an issue for us except for days when we could not get into the ocean because of the double red flags.
This was the first time we'd rented a condo from Dale Peterson Vacations, very nice folks! -

The unit I stayed in (902nt) was above average. I am comparing it to The Four Seasons in Orange Beach. I like your method of getting keys to late arrivals (I was one). I did have a problem returning the key. The office was open , there was a cell phone laying on the counter, voices in the back of the office, but no-one answered when I called out. I left the envelope by the cell phone and left.

Have been staying at the towers for 20 or so years. We now stay in the fall but we use to come in spring. have made some good friends. Love the beach. we stay for a month and our children and grandchildren come for visits. they all feel at home there.
The condo's are comfortable. Some times the dishes lack as we do entertaining.
Look forward to being back in Sept. -

We stayed in Unit 902 for a week in August. Check in was quick and easy. The office is conveniently located not far from the Towers and next to the grocery store. Navarre Towers is a great building. It has added security and is very well maintained. I loved the convenience of the shopping carts available to use for carrying up groceries. Luggage carts are also available. There are 3 elevators which run quickly so we never had to wait long. The unit is really roomy with lots of windows and beautiful views. The Santa Rosa Sound (beautiful sunsets)on the front and the beautiful emerald green waters on the back. The large windows and sliding doors in the master bedroom make for some awesome views.
The island is really nice with great walking/bike paths. There are lots of public beach access areas to stop and take a dip along the way. There is also a small store that stocks about anything you need without having to go back across the bridge.
The only negative comments I have about the unit we rented are that the t.v.'s need to be upgraded and larger. The 19" t.v. in the living room looked like the picture was about to go out. The 13" in the bedroom had a nice picture but is just too small. The garbage disposal wasn't working. And lastly, the unit wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been. Not that it was really dirty but the sliding doors and bedroom windows could have used a good cleaning. They were covered with little handprints. There were dishes left in the dishwasher that had been washed but had dried food stuck to them. I don't feel it is the next guest's responsibility to have to clean up after the previous guest. That's why we paid a cleaning fee. This could have just been a single occurence and I don't want to sound like the unit was dirty because it wasn't. Just pointing a couple of things out.
FYI. mapquest/live maps both had a couple of wrong turns. Over all, we had an awesome week and loved Navarre Towers. Definitely would stay here again. -

My wife and I enjoyed your great accomodations. We had another couple join us for a week and they liked the roomy condo also. We arrived on a Saturday and had a little trouble getting into the complex because it was our first time in this area and did not get complete instructions as to where the keys were etc. But we called and got the location where the keys were and got settled in without too much hassel. Monday, when the office was open, we talked to the attendant (Brandy). She was very helpful and we got all our questions answered and settled in very comfortably for the stay. Thanks again and we will certainly try to book our next winter vacation with Dale Peterson rentals.
