The Montorgueil street is known for its lively and colorful open-air market.
A stone's throw from the Louvre and the Seine, you cannot beat the central location of this Paris apartment rental. The neighbouring pedestrian Quartier Montorgueil embodies the essence of authentic Parisian life and has been called the "new urban village" of Paris. One of the capital's most colorful market streets, it is home to some of its best restaurants, cafes and food shops.
(Indeed, Queen Elizabeth was paraded here on her visit to Paris in 2004 to celebrate the centenary of the 'Entente Cordial'. Apparently, she loved the cakes from the famed Stohrer bakery, where you may find yourself on many a morning.)
The adjacent Place des Victories, designed by Place Vendome's Hardouin Mansart, forms an intimate circle around a statue of Louis XIV and today is dedicated to the designer names of fashion.
This apartment is also walking distance from the renowned Centre Cultural Georges Pompidou, or Beaubourg, which contains Paris' Museum of Modern Art. Another asset of this location is the closeness of Paris' most important monuments and tourist points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, and the majestic Tuileries gardens.

This apartment was everything we could ever hope for. Spacious, clean and with everything in perfect working order. It was in walking distance to so many places that we wanted to see but also only a half a block from the metro. Around the corner is the most wonderful street with cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, liquor stores, cheese store...Anything you might want and need. When we arrived, we were met by the agent who explained everything to us and was available during our entire stay should we have any concerns. We rented the apartment without having any past knowledge of the rental company but we were not disappointed. They were fabulous. We have already returned for a second time and will return again. We consider it "our" place in Paris.

This was the first stop for our Honeymoon, and my new wife had let me do the final research on this property. (Dangerous)
She had her reservations with my choice...
But as soon as we arrived into the district her reservations lifted and once in the apartment complex it lifted again, and once in the apartment she was over the moon.
Alicia the Welcome to France representative was brilliant and friendly. Alicia gave us all the information on the apartment, and also the surrounds.
So I could not say enough good things about this apartment and the people associated with it.
I would stay there again in a heart beat! -

The apartment was very central - all the sights were within easy walking distance or short metro trips - very close to 2 metros. We were met by a representative from Welcome2France when we arrived at about 7am and got access to the apartment straight away which was great after our long flight from Sydney - went straight to bed and slept for about 5 hours. It was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay - would stay there again but next time will go in the European summer.
