Additional Location Information
The Grand Boulevard is in the heart of the business district of Paris, near : main banks, insurance, hotel sales by auction and centrally located to touristic sites : Opera, Sacre - Coeur, museums and department stores. The Grands Boulevards metro is centrally situated between Opera and Montmartre, close to major attractions including the Folie Bergères
The Grands Boulevards are still to this day full of life, with plenty of cinemas and theatres presenting light comedies. Close to the apartment, you will find the "Opéra Comique", the Hard rock cafe, the Porte Saint Martin theatre, The Variétés theatre and the Gymnase theatre, where Jenny Colon, Gerard de Nerval and Coluche used to perform. Cinemas are just a few meters away with The Max Linder Panorama and The Grand Rex, round the corner. You really must go and see a film in its 2800-seater auditorium and let yourself dazzled by its décor which is worthy of the Arabian Nights !
You can get a meal at one of the many typically Parisian coffee-restaurants at Chartier's, of course, or at one of the several "terrasses" situated on the Boulevard.

New York, NYGood spot for our week in Paris over X-mas
Left on 01/17/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed for a group of four. The pics and vid on the "Welcome2France" site are an accurate portrayal of the place. It is located a block from the 'Grand Boulevards' Metro stop and a 10 min. walk from the Rue Montorgueil markets. You are striking distance from a lot of great restaurants and night spots, but Rue St. Fiacre itself is not worth mentioning. Stay here if you're looking for a bargain price for a nice, clean, sizeable place in the 2nd arrondissement. I should also mention alicia from Welcome2France, who was great at check-in and check-out. She knew all the details about the apartment and had a few cool nightlife suggestions for my wife and I. This place is a great alternative to staying on Rue Montorgueil for travelers with a tighter budget and some good walking shoes.

SingaporeUnique and cozy, but some maintenance work definitely required
Left on 08/09/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We were pleased with the apartment at first glance. It was bright, well-decorated and seemed perfect for our French vacation. While it served us well on the aesthetics, we were not as satisfied in terms of "livability".
1) We discovered a leak on Day 2. It started from the kitchen area all the way down to the basement where my husband and I were sleeping.
2) Some of the lights in the apartment had blown. Also, there was so little lighting in the basement it was almost ridiculous. Not to mention that no switches had been installed on the main level for the basement so that we could turn these on for some light before embarking on our daily journey down those treacherously steep steps down into the basement.
3) Very creaky and uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room
all that being said, the rest of it was okay and it was also situated in a very convenient location - just seconds away from the tube and shops. The service we received from the team at Welcome2France has also been great. -

This apartment was spacious, had a great kitchen, and was well-located in the Grand Boulevards area. It was a short walk to the Opera and the 7th floor of two department stores with excellent views of the city.
Be sure and double check the phone number of your contact before you arrive. -

Los Angeles, CAcomfort and charme in the heart of Paris
Left on 04/07/2011 for a stay in January 2011
We stayed in Montorgueil-Fiacre for a few days after new years and we had a wonderful experience. The apartment is spacious, charming, modern but cozy, with plenty of character and very comfortable. It made us feel at home and it was perfectly located to walk everywhere: the Louvre, the Lafayette Stores, rue St Honore, place Vendome, the Marais, the Opera, and the beautiful Montorgueil neighborhood. It is very quiet and feels like a single house rather than an apartment in a building complex. Its location is equally good for exploring the city or for business travelers. We would definitely recommend this as perfect spot for a Paris vacation or business trip.

Stamford, Connecticut USADue to volcano eruption had to move from original rental.
Left on 09/21/2010 for a stay in April 2010
Was not our first choice. We had to move from our original rental because of the volcano eruption. It was clean and had plenty of room. Was not my favorite section of Paris.
