This part of Paris has nearly no equivalent when speaking about location and proximity of centers of interest. Right in the2nd arrondissement, close to theOperaand theLouvre, the apartment is surrounded by History.
Here culture meets the business sector. The area is ideally located for work as many companies and banks are based there or within a short distance. Four of the besthotels in Parisare right nearby, the Crillon, the Ritz, the Meurice and the trendier Hotel Costes.
Already very important during the three centuries before the French Revolution in 1789, this part of Paris has always developed and evolved. In the 16th and 17th century the "Jardin des Tuileries" and the "Place Vendôme" were created. Minor changes to the streets occurred later, for instance "rue de la Paix" (originally "rue Napoléon") was built at the beginning of the 19th century. The rue Saint-Honoré was known as been a place where all ranks of nobility and rich Parisian families found their suppliers since the 16th century. Nowadays the places and people have evolved, but the trend is the same. Except for Sundays, when all shops are closed, the area is always busy and lively.
With all this History what we now have is an amazing architecture and museums. All the streets in the neighbourhood have a very specific theme, the buildings all present a harmonious architecture and design and most of them if not all are of historical importance.
The "Jardin des Tuileries" itself is another piece of History, and in addition to its green area it offers a couple of museums (Le Jeu de Paume and l`Orangerie). Through this garden, and thanks to the Passerelle Solférino, it is easy to access the museum of Orsay, whereas within a short walking distance one also reaches the Louvre. For more theatrical entertainment the "La Comédie Française" and the Opéra Garnier are also very close by.
The neighbourhood has everything to offer for a fine day to day life.

Unfortunatley the photos don't represent the apartment. It is not as good as it seems.
It was a terrific location and very quiet.
The apartment is tired, needs a good clean and all the soft furnishings need replacing.
Service from the guys from Halldis was also terrific. -

The apartment was adequate - not overly spacious. The floors squeeked so any movement at night was sleep interupting. The supplies were not adequate - we had to purchase our own tissues, paper towels, dish soap, dishclothes, etc. The location was nice and convenient to the attractions.

Rental agreement said 1month until return of the fund and 2-3weeks usually but it's now been over 6 weeks and they still haven't returned the money to us. I'm having to remember to chase every so often and is causing me stress. Would not rent again if the fund doesn't return in the next 2 weeks

probably there has been a misunderstanding concerning the refund: the deposit was just put on hold, and released on April the 2nd. As we did not withdraw the sum on your credit card, we don’t have to credit the sum, simply it was automatically released. This is the reason why you won’t see any transaction. Anyway, we kindly suggest you to check your account: please let us know if everything is correct.

I definitely do not regret my decision to choose this apartment managed by Hallidis during my stay in Beautiful Paris. The service and the help we received from Marco was optimal and the apartment was exactly as described on the net. We had a very safe and comfortable stay in the apartment together with our three teenage children. Being my first time in Paris I could not imagime, until I was there, how much centrally located the apartment was. Attractions like Opera, Madelline, Place Vendome and others were literally within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this apartment to everyone especially families travelling with children or teenagers. A special thanks to Marco for his help!!

The Location and overal comfort was very good but Tv didn't get English chanels and movie chanels and we had problem with stove beside that we had water leak in the bathroom.
