Wonderful flat location in Paris
Good communication prior to visit, then Laurent met us at the ground floor of the apartment and carried two of our three large bags upstairs. The aparement is snug, but comformatable for three women who didn't want to share sleeping rooms. Plenty of hot water for all. Great location - easy access to metro and a leisurely walk to the Seine as well as a great little shopping/dining area.
Wonderful spacious apartment
The apartment is at the North side of the Montorgueil area. Very central. The decoration of the apartment is very tasteful and extremely comfortable, there is lots of light. A large sofa with three seats and two comfortable fauteuils. Nice good quality dining set. Good beds and bedding, with one very large bedroom with kingsize bed and one smaller bedroom with two single beds. The sofabed is very big and comfortable as well. Two slick bathrooms and one toilet (separate). A lot of cupboard space. Very complete kitchen. Double glass at the road side. The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, communal stairs are not well maintained and could use a clean. Although the apartment is in very good condition, there is a little touching up to do. Noise from road when sleeping with open windows might be a problem. all in all it would rate the apartment a 9.5.
Stay and experience the 'real Paris'
The Porte Saint-Denis is a fantastic backdrop to this wonderful apartment in the heart of Paris, where our family of 5 stayed for a week over the New Year period 2014. Laurent (our host) and his team were very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay and made us feel very welcome. Our stay started very well when we were met at the apartment, assisted to get all our luggage upstairs and given a tour. The apartment is well appointed with 2 bathrooms, 2 large bedrooms, a lovely living area and a compact but convenient kitchen. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us and we were very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to negotiate, so would be somewhat difficult for elderly people or people with mobility problems. The apartment is however so well located! 2 Metro stations are only a 2 minute walk, and you can quickly travel to anywhere in Paris. For those who like walking in Paris (and who doesn't?), a few minutes finds you walking down the fabulous rue Montorgueil, filled with wonderful patisseries, boulangeries & restaurants. Just walk across the Boulevard Saint-Denis and you find a supermarket, fruit & vegetable shops and a 'Little India' arcade, full of Indian restaurants. We were able to walk to Montmatre and the church of Sacre Cour in 25 minutes. The neighbourhood is incredibly diverse, with people from many parts of the French speaking world and beyond. It is a mixture of cultures and activities, with theatres and comedy clubs, restaurants, and yes, even some 'red light' thrown in! It's busy, hectic and exciting, a real slice of the diversity of Paris. If you want a fairly priced, comfortable and well located apartment in Paris, this is a great place to stay!

Home away from Texas
Looking for an alternative to a hotel on a recent business trip, we stumbled upon a real find via Flip Key. Our requirements included central and convenient metro locations, 2 bedrooms (and preferably 2 baths), and the experience of a real Parisienne neighborhood. We found this and more at 39 rue Beauregard!
The owner is extremely responsive and has created a true domestic retreat. The location makes it easy to navigate to any destination by metro or on foot. Nearby rue de Montorgueil is full of cafes and open air shops offering cheeses, charcuterie, and fresh produce. We took advantage of several convenient grocery stores to stock the kitchen and save on meals 'at home.'
Quiet and spacious, accommodations include free Wi-Fi, high def TV, CD player and CDs, free local calls, a washing machine, and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Perks, like those of a hotel, include power adapters, plenty of good hangers, hair dryers, and an iron (with the board).
By days end, as tired as we were, we did not mind the 79 steps to the apartment door. We felt like we were coming home, and considered it part of the romance of this converted 17c building. And, the view? Just as appealing-see for yourself!
Everything was perfect. The apartment is lovely and clean

For our family of 4, keen to explore both the well known sights of Paris...and wander a little in streets unknown, this apartment was perfect. Borders on the 2nd and 10th districts. Two spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a workable kitchen, delightful sitting area...and a view over the chimney pots. Could walk down to the Louvre, metro station 2 minutes walk away, supermarkets and local shops for food within very easy walk. The apartment was clean, the communication outstanding, check in easy and help available if needed...and the stairs good for building muscle tone.( Not a problem at all for average fitness) Many many thanks for such a delightful experience.

Beautiful Paris aartment
What a beautiful apartment this is.
It has everything you need.
Perfectly situated, close to the Metro and 2 minute walk to shops, supermarket and to our favourite bakery to purchase our fresh bread each day.
This really was our home for two weeks, plenty of room for our adult family of 5.
Comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and so lovely coming home to a warm apartment when it was zero degrees outside. We truly felt like Parisians not New Zealanders. The neighbours were friendly and quiet.
The building charming, with its squeaky floorboards.
Thankyou Laurent for making a lifelong dream of mine come true by allowing us to rent your gorgeous apartment .

Living like Parisians
We 4 women friends absolutely adored our 10 day stay in this charming comfortable apartment. We felt very much that we were Parisians in Paris during our stay, because of the feel of the apartment, its location and the view across typical Parisian buildings. Laurent, provided outstanding service both before we left australia and while in Paris. The apartment is convenientally located - metro (only a few stops to Notre Dame) and supermarket and shops one minute walk, famous rue Montorgueil (restaurants, patissiers etc) a few minutes walk. Two bathrooms, separate toilet and twin beds were great for us. Double glazing in bedrooms cut the noise from the busy street. While we felt they added to the charm of the Parisian experience, the stairs could be a challenge for the unfit and the squeaky floors might annoy some people. Staying in this apartment added to the enjoyment of our holiday in Paris.
A Place in Paris
First of all let me say that Laurent is a most gracious host. If we needed anything it was taken care of immediately. Now the apartment. A nice central location. Close to the Metro 4, about a block away. Close to shopping, food markets, bakeries, all the stuff. We were a party of 5. We were comfortable. 6 would be also. You would have to schedule showers only because there would not be enough of hot water. No big deal at all. We cooked a few meals in and found all the utensils that were needed there. The wood floors creaked but to us that added charm. I think the building is about 150 or so years old. Redone over the years I am sure. We loved the place and would stay there again in a heart beat. The stairs going up was not a challenge. They got us ready for all the walking we did while in Paris. A place to consider if you are going to Paris. Right on the price and just about right on the corner. You can watch the street actin from the windows. We watch the Paris/ American marathon on Sunday the 7th of Oct while there.
A beautiful apartment in a great location
Laurent greeted us on our arrival at was to become our home away from home for a week. This apartment has to be one of the best available in Paris, it is convenient to every amenity whether it be the Metro (just 200 yards away), two supermarkets within a five minute walk, Motorgreuil with its fantastic boulangeries and great restaurants just a ten minute walk away.
There were four of us staying the week and all of us gave the apartment a great "thumbs up". It is beautifully clean, with everything one could hope for, whether it be cable flat screen TV, beautifully comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, iron etc.)
The living/dining room is a very comfortable airy place to come back to and relax with a great glass of wine after all the sightseeing. Being up on the fourth floor, one can look down and watch the world go by as folks go to and from work. Unlike in most of Paris, this area is relatively quiet - the height of the apartment helps cushion any noise from below. (One word of warning: though in our sixties we soon became used to it, the advantages of being on the fourth floor come with the workout of 78 steps to reach the apartment's front door.)
This is a gem of a rental and Laurent could not have been a more considerate landlord. The next time in Paris I will have absolutely no hesitation in checking with Laurent whether the Rue Beauregard apartment is free.
Perfect Paris apartment experience
This was the perfect Parisian apartment. Laurent was a great host who had everything planned before we arrived. The apartment was well equipped and cosy but not too small. There was a bit of street noise from the bedroom but this was gone with the closing of the double glazed windows. Great location. Easy to get to places by foot or by metro station which was only a minute or so walk away. If back in Paris will stay here again for sure.
New Canaan, CT USA
Our family could not be happier staying at the apartment. Great location with just a couple metro stops away from all the tourist - it was nice to come home to a quiet apartment. 20 second walk from the metro stop. The apartment was so nice and clean - could not be happier. Laurent and his brother were so easy to work with and they were waiting for us when we arrived. Our family would highly recommend the apartment.
Lovely apartment fantastic location
The apartment was delightful in a fantastic location. Laurent was very helpfull with directions, even walking us to the local restaurant area which was sensational.
The location was close to the metro station which made it easy to get to around. I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting a place where you can enjoy your Paris experience.
We had a great experience from booking this apartment, all direct with the owners & very efficient. We were delighted on arrival how beautiful the apartment was, and so immaculately maintained. An excellent service all round & would definitely return
Marseille - France
We enjoyed our stay !
Very nice flat for a family with three kids.
Perfect owner, very clean place idealy equiped.
You can walk to the major attractions or take public transport down the road.
We will come back !
So much better than a hotel !
This fine apartment is located just one block off Bonne Nouvelle on a quiet street. The rooms are very clean and nicely arranged. It is very comfortable and we would have loved more time there - but a vacation in Paris doesn't leave much time to rest. It was a lovely stay and we will stay again if we return! The Hop on bus was only a few blocks away. There are 75 stairs up to the apartment but the owner made certain we had "superman" there to carry our luggage to the door. Thank you! There are instructions to use for the cab to the airport - with English speaking operators and we took our time getting the bags back down! We had previously been on a 15 day cruise, so bags were heavy. Stay was perfect for two couples - each had their own bathrooms - not easy to find in this price range!
Excellent 2 bedroom apartment
Clean, comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in the 2nd arr near the Strausburg St. Dennis stop. Laurent was very nice and helpful. Our family of 4 stayed comfortably in this apartment with plenty of space. There are plenty of grocery stores and shops near by. I would highly recommend this rental.
We stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment. It was clean, bright, spacious, and very close to transport.
Laurent was an excellent host, responded very quickly to requests and took very good care of us!
There was plenty of room for us (3 adults 2 children) and we really enjoyed our stay. The stairs were a great way to keep fit!
We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to renting this apartment again when we are next in Paris
We loved our vacation in Beauregard. For a family of 6, this is the perfect apartment. Our stay here was absolutely delightful from the wonderful reception when we arrived until we left. The apartment is so spacious and presents exactly as seen in the pictures. The apartment is very comfortable and the standard of finishes is very high. And we enjoyed so much the light and views from every room !
Its location is fantastic for sightseeing and strolling. Very close to Beauregard, there are many restaurants, bakeries and cafés, 2 supermarkets and convenience shops. We really felt like Parisiens for our stay and would have loved to have stayed longer. It was also wonderful at night to be able to dine late at local restaurants in the Montorgueil area before heading back to the apartment. Laurent is thoroughly professional to deal with and he also accommodated a late checkout for us. Thanks !
Beautifully renovated apartment
We, a family of four, enjoyed our stay in the apartment a lot. It is beautifully renovated and furnished, close to public transportation and to many stores and restaurants. Laurent is a very friendly and professional landlord and he gave us many useful tips. Should we have another opportunity to come back to Paris we certainly will call Laurent again!
Abbiamo trascorso 13 giorni in questo grazioso appartamento molto ben
Clean, quiet & great location!!!
We stayed with our two kids (3 and 11 years old) for 2 weeks, and we had a very enjoyable stay. The bed and the pull out couch were both good quality, and the apartment building was quiet. The shops on the rue Montorgueil were fantastic - great food, very friendly people, and many open late and on Sundays. The location is great, and we were able to walk to many museums/parks/attractions. We will definitely book this apartment again for our next stay in Paris!
A memorable stay
The booking process was so easy. Laurent replied promptly to all my emails and was very accommodating with my late arrival. Apartment was charming and excellent for our party of 5 - would definately stay there again. Location was excellent too for Eurostar travellers. Just 3 stops from Gare du Nord. Laurent gave recommendations for local restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed, particularly as they were in easy walking distance. The Metro stop was very close by - great after a long day. Be aware that there is no lift to the third floor, but we found that fine.
Wonderful apartment in a lively area
First, I would like to mention that we received excellent service from Mr. Neau. Our arrival and departure went very smoothly because Mr. Neau took the time before our arrival to provide us with all the details we required. The apartment was clean and true to the pictures on the website. It is a good sized apartment for a family of four. The kitchen is stocked with basic tools and really not conducive to prepare elaborate meals but it suited our purpose for breakfast and quick suppers.
The appartment is 2 minutes from rue montorgueuil (a wondful street that is always lively)which has bakeries, chocolate shops, groceries, pharmacies and restaurants. The area has some really great restaurants literally 2 minutes from the door. We were able to walk to all the attractions except the Eiffel Tower but the metro is a 2 minute walk. The only thing is that the rue beauregard itself is not a beautiful street and the neighbors are mostly textile ateliers. There was an erotic dance club close by but we always felt safe.
What we liked best about the apartment is its proximity to good food and attractions. This is not a posh neighborhood but it is very lively and trendy.
A few little imperfections in the apartment were bothersome like a few broken floorboards that caught our socks, lack of tea towels in the kitchen, and a persistent smell from the kitchen sink (which Laurent recommended a product he had available which only helped slightly). Also a clean-up needs to be done of leftover pantry items as it s not presented in an appealing way. We ended up buying staples like salt and pepper.
Overall, our stay was wonderful the apartment is a good value for the money.
Port of Spain, Trinidad
Lovely apartment- highly recommended
I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment is in a highly desirable location close to all conveniences, restaurants etc.
The place is clean, well designed and well maintained. Clearly a lot of effort was put into creating a comfortable, secure environment.
Laurent (the owner)is a absolute pleasure to deal with - he is very accommodating. He is very thoughtful and it shows in the details of the apartment. I highly recommend.
Very nice appartment
We had a wonderful stay in Paris. The appartement is well furnished and main attractions such as Louvre are in walking distance. Metro station is 3min away.
Authentic Paris Experience
We've stayed several times in hotels in tourist areas of Paris but nothing can match the authentic Paris experience created by this wonderful apartment and its fantastic location. As you step out the front door you find yourself in the Paris of the Parisian, a bustling and energised locale characterised by the Rue Montorgueil and its endless rows of tiny shops and restaurants. And if you want to head off to a tourist destination, it's within walking distance or, for the less energetic, a couple of stops on the Metro.
As for the apartment, well it was everything we had hoped for. Clean, modern with windows opening on to two parallel streets. Everything worked and the owner, Laurent, was genuinely keen to help. When one of our party fell ill Laurent hunted down an English speaking doctor who arrived on his motorbike to sort everything out.
There are a few stairs to tackle, so not an apartment for anyone with a disability. But Laurent was on hand to help with the bags.
Hunting for apartments in big cities like Paris can be a lottery - this time we found an absolute winner.
Wonderful spacious apartment
We stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks and we loved it! It was really spacious for 2 adults and 2 children and we especially appreciated all the storage that was available (no living out of a suitcase!). The photos for the apartment certainly show it as it is.
Laurent made sure we were met on arrival and helped with our luggage up the stairs and he was there at the end of our stay as well.
It is just a short walk to Rue Montorgueil where we loved doing all our food shopping. Getting to other major sites such as the Pompidou Centre, Montmartre, the Louvre and the big Department stores was easy via walking or the bus. There is also a metro station very close by to get you everywhere else.
Great modern and spacious apartment for family of 5
We enjoyed staying in this lovely renovated apartment. Laurent was helpful and communicated via email promptly when booking and was great with check in. The two bathrooms and bedrooms were a real bonus for our family with 3 children aged 11, 13& 16. It is very close to metro and even walking is easy to many places like the Louvre. We easily walked to our hop on off tour in avenue Opera. The best part that we will never forget is the closeness to rue montorgueil. We felt spoilt to taste real Parisian life buying baguettes, croissants, cheese, amazing sweets and market needs in this street just a short stroll away. Highly recommended value for money if you don't mind walking up the steps in the apartment building - for us, it was well worth it to work off all the patisserie delights.
Well, if you need to stay in Paris, look no further and Do Not waste your time looking anywhere else!
Laurent made sure that we were greeted as soon as we got there.A true Gentleman in every sense of the word and the apartment lacked nothing.
This apartment is within walking distance of just about everywhere in Paris and just a stones throw away from the Metro of Strasbourg Saint Denis.
Cannot recommend it highly enough...all I can say is Thank you Laurent for a very enjoyable stay and we'll see you again!

First time in Paris
We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. It is located in a very quiet street and yet, 5 minutes walk to the buzziest area. Fabulous pastries, cares, people watching! So much fun. We were able to walk everywhere, including the Eiffel Tower!
The apartment has been so tastefully renovated and every thought given to the comfort of their guests. There was nothing that we wanted for.
We would thoroughly recommend 37 rue de Clery to young and older visitors.
Life as a Parisian...
San Francisco, USA & Bouzigues, France
We will be sure to be back again!
Live like a real Parisian, in the heart of city. Walk to the Louvre, Opera, Centre Georges Pompidou. Metro stop on the corner makes getting around so easy.
The apartment is decorated beautifully and has all the amenities you will need for a nice, comfortable stay. Two bathrooms in a two bedroom is unusual and so well equipment, we felt like we were the first ones to stay there. The apartment feels brand new! Clean, well organized and an easy walk to rue Montorgeuil where you have everything you need...the butcher, the baker, the fruit stands and loads of fine restaurants.
The Neau family has taken extra care in designing your stay and were always available for extra help. Checking in and out was a breeze.
Thank you, we will be sure to book again.
A great home base for your visit to Paris
We wanted something more than a hotel room (particularly as we were traveling with our teenaged son) for our five night stay in Paris. The apartment turned out to be an almost perfect home base for our stay.
Laurent was most helpful in not only arranging our visit but also accommodating us for our arrival and departure. He gave us access to the apartment to drop our bags off at 10:30am (this also allowed us to change after a long overnight flight) and he quickly refunded our deposit using PayPal as we had to leave quite early in the morning. He took time to show us around the apartment and explain how everything worked as well as where to buy groceries.
The apartment is spacious, clean and tastefully furnished. We found it a great place to relax after a long day sightseeing and the kitchen ideal for preparing basic meals. The kitchen was very well stocked - all the appliances, cookware and dining ware you'll need. There are also some basic staples to help you prepare your meals.
The beds were comfortable and both the building and neighbourhood quiet enough so that you can enjoy a good night's sleep. Keep in mind that there are 79 steps up to the apartment - not an issue for us but certainly would be for some.
We also loved the fact that the Metro was so close. The Strasbourg-St. Denis station has three lines going through it making it quite easy to get to get around the city.
Our only beef - while the apartment is in the 2nd arrondisement it is not near the great shopping and dining areas. Yes, there is a decent grocery store mere minutes away but little else of decent quality and variety directly in the neighbourhood. We thought we would have much better restaurants and stores to choose from. Notwithstanding this, it was still a great apartment and base for our travels around the city.
Frankfurt am Main/Germany
The apartment is really amazing!
The 2 bedrooms are so cute, there is enough space for clothes or baggage. Both bathrooms are big enough, and the shower is very comfortable.
When you are travelling with your family the living room provides enough room to relax together.
The kitchen is a little bit small but there is everything if you want to cook.
Also all of the rooms are very tidy and clean!
We enjoyed our trip to Paris and the stay in the apartment :)
Nice apartment in the 2nd arondissement
We had a 2 night stay in this apartment with 3 adults and 3 children. The apartment was very modern, very clean and very quiet, even though it borders a busy street. Laurent made everything so easy for us. He met us at the apartment and helped us carry our luggage up the three flights of stairs (no lift here). He also was available for anything we needed as he lives nearby. The apartment has two spacious bedrooms and a hide-away bed in the living room that was very comfortable for the kids. Modern amenities included a dishwasher, big fridge, and all dishes and cookware needed. Internet was free and was fast. As far as the location goes, it is very close to a Metro stop (40-50 yards). There are many restaurants and shops on the adjoining street that would suit any tastes. The neighborhood is in transition as new, modern stores and businesses are replacing the older ones. We felt very safe here, even with our children. We walked from the apartment to Notre Dame in about 20-25 minutes on a busy street with lots of shops and food. There is a parking garage nearby that costs around 20 Euro a night but that is about average or less for Paris. Overall, a very nice apartment in a central area. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Laurent!
A wonderful venue in a great situation
We all had a great time at Rue Beauregard.
The apartemnt was on the 3rd floor, but we managed all the stairs.
the apartemnt was very well fitted out with all facilities available.
Close to shops and metro, and easy access to all the sights of paris.
we would gladly return.
Great apartment for visiting Paris
We stayed here with 3 teenage children using the two bedrooms and the fold out bed for 5 nights and were very comfortable. The apartment is away from the tourist crowds so you get the chance to feel a part of the real life of the city. Rue Montorgueil is about 5 mins walk and is one of the best places for restaurants, partisseries, food market stalls with many more locals than toursists. The metro is close by with 3 lines making travelling around Paris easy. The apartment is nicely decorated with plenty of light and quiet at night with the windows shut. Laurent was very helpful and carried our 2 heaviest cases up the stairs effortlessly. Take up his offer to meet at the start of your stay as his assistance is very useful. Only problem was we would have loved to have stayed longer but had to leave to continue our holiday.
Minnesota, United States
Best Value for the Price
The views of the city from this apartment are amazing. The decor was a perfect balance of old and new. The amenities made our stay easy and comfortable. The neighborhood is great because restaurants, grocery stores, shops, postal office, and train were all within a short walking distance. I can't say enough good things about this apartment but you have to see it for yourself!
Great apartment in Paris
The apartment is amazing. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living area and kitchen with all appliances and a great location. It´s a perfect place to stay in Paris with family or friends. Mr. Laurent is a very nice person, very helpfull and keep the place in a very good condition to guests. We loved the place and would return very soon.
Wonderful apartment in a beautiful city
This is our third visit to Paris and second in a Paris vacation rental and it was wonderful, nothing could be faulted. The apartment was everything the pictures showed and more. We could not have asked for anything nicer.
Everything was close for shopping, the Metro, hop-on bus etc. Many major attractions were within walking distance and we loved it. It was quiet and so very comfortable and wished we could have stayed longer.
The stairs were our keep fit regime and Laurent the owner was wonderful helping us with our luggage on arrival and departure and was so accommodating with our arrival and departure times. Our booking was handled with efficiency and helpfulness and looking forward to returning and staying longer next time.
Would highly recommend.

Great guy, great apartment in a great city
In the past 3 years, my wife and I have visited Paris and parts of France, never staying in a hotel and instead staying in vacation rentals and people's homes. Laurent's apt sits at the top of the list of places we have stayed in. It has all the hallmarks of modern-day Parisian living with Old World touches. Whatever you see in the pictures is exactly what you're going to get. The wooden flooring, the fireplaces, the large windows and high ceilings are just some of the features that you just don't get from many rentals. Secondly, the location is central. You can walk all the way to the Notre Dame if the weather is nice. During our stay, we caught a special Matisse exhibition at the Pompidou. Along the way, you'll see kids at play, and blocks of cafes on rue Montorgueil where you can also get the famous eclairs at Stohrer's. The Metro is two minutes' walk with a choice of 2 different lines. Printemps is 5 stops and the biggest flea market in France is just 8 stops. For groceries, there's a huge Monoprix next to the Metro entrance and for more variety, there are shops with fresh produce and meats across the road. A few of our favorite restaurants near Les Halles are also within walking distance. After a heavy meal, it's really nice to take in the cool night air as you walk home. About the only challenge you'll have is maybe walking up the stairs. It's a small price to pay for everything that you get. Laurent is such a great guy that when we arrived early, he ran to get there as soon as he could. And on top of that, he helped us carry our luggage. I felt so bad that I gave him the lightest of our big bags (there were 5 of us). There were hairdryers in both bathrooms, which was a nice touch. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms looked sparkly new. And to top it all off, our security deposit was refunded while we were 35000 feet somewhere over the Indian Ocean. The next time we're in Paris, Laurent is the first person we'll be getting in touch with.
Great Place to Stay in Paris
Definitely in the heart of paris. Very close to the tube and the line is a central and direct line which can be used easily to see Paris. Locaion great. 2 minute walk to station and food shops. Great apartment. I was initially concerned that we would be in a noisy location however I was proved wrong. Very quite at night. Very tastefully decorated. Clean and spacious. Would and have, recommended to friends already.

Our stay at this apartment exceeded my expectations!
Stay: Apr 13-18,'12
Laurent Neau is a very gracious and informative host. He communicated via email several times before we arrived to ensure we were in synch on arrival times and other necessary information. We arrived a bit early but he still met us in the lobby and let us store our bags in the apartment so we could explore while he prepared the apartment for us. He also created an informational booklet for one's stay in the apartment which we found very helpful. Laurent gave us an orientation on the apartment and the area before we left to explore. I didn't realize how important this was until I went to turn on the stove! We found Laurent to be very accessible for questions, etc -- this was very comforting!
The apartment itself was so charming. The views from the bedrooms are nicer than the one from the living room, but it was still a view of Paris! The apartment is as clean and nice as it looks in the photos -- a pleasant mix of old (the original beams, the fireplace, the flooring..) and new (appliances, furnishing, decor). It is very well-situated and less than a block from the metro, a nice-sized supermarket (Monoprix), a bakery (the patisserie across the street from Monoprix) and several cafes. It is also less than a 5 min walk away from the Montorgueil district. This is a great place to shop for your dinner or to have any meal.
There were 4 of us in our party and we all enjoyed the apartment so much. It was a very nice size, and we could have comfortably had 2 more adults stay with us. Although there is only one toilet, it is in a separate little room from the 2 bathrooms. I hope to stay here again -- 6 days was too short! I could write quite a bit more about our stay... but this is already so long.
Wonderful apartment with rooftop views.
Had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is as nice as the pictures show, and the location is excellent. You are practically across the street from one of the exits of the Strasbourg-St. Denis Metro stop. You can also easily walk to the Seine in about 15-20 minutes. There's plenty of light and wonderful views from both sides of the apartment over the rooftops of Paris. Highly recommend.
Our family of four was very comfortable in the apartment. We had two other relatives visit for a couple of days as well. Two adults slept on the pull-out couch and it was as nice as a regular bed, also very easy to pull out and put back together. You don't have to take the cushions off to transform the bed.
There is one toilet in the apartment. It is in its own little room. There are two bathrooms with showers and sinks and large medicine cabinets with storage under the sinks.
Appliances: All worked well and were in good condition. Dishwasher is great. Laurent explained how to operate everything.
We used the free phone in the apartment to call us and within France. You cannot use it to call a cell phone, only land lines.
Access: We counted 79 steps up to the apartment once you are in the building. The steps are are easy to climb - low and wide, but uneven. This would not be good for someone with knee problems.
The family that was checking out of the apartment when we arrived was gracious enough to let us store our luggage in the apartment before we checked in.
Groceries: There is a Monoprix around the corner. There is a Franprix open Sundays on the street you are on if you walk through the big arch you see from the apartment. The Franprix is on the left side of the street. There is also a Carrefour grocery store on the right side of that same street. All within easy walking distance. We enjoyed the bakeries and vegetable/fruit shops on the street through the arch.
A wonderful place for a family holiday
We had a wonderful vacation staying in this apartment. When looking for a place I wanted the feel of the Parisian large windows and ironwork so our family of 5 would feel like we were living in Paris, not staying in a hotel.
This apartment has the Parisian architecture/charm combined with contemporary amenities- two good showers with plenty of hot water! and a washing machine. The pull-out sofa in the living room was very comfortable.
It's location close to the metro, made all of our daily excursions easy. It was easy to go both east/west and north/south. The Monoprix market was very close to pick up food and breakfast for the kids.
Laurent and his family have done a fantastic renovation with this apartment! Thank you for a delightful stay!
Light and confortable
I spent 5 days in this apartment that proved even better than you could imagine from the photos.
Well maintained, bright and comfortable.
The owner was with us really very nice and helpful.
Only problem with the 90 steps to get to the floor.
very nice apartment, renewed and well furnished, very well divided, nice bathrooms wonderful showers, only one separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, cosy living room, wifi, cable tv, phone use with no extra charge. Mr Laurent was very very kind and helped us with the luggage in departure and arrival, 3rd floor no lift.
nice area, walking distance to louvre, metro station very near, shops and supermarkets just opposite

Wonderful and comfortable
We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in this apartment in December 2011 and had a wonderful time. Apartment is nicely decorated and has all the equipment and luxury needed. Pictures on website are true reflection of apartment. Close to metro, supermarkets and shopping area.Laurent is very helpful and receive us on arrival. Much better value than a hotel.
We had an excellent stay at this very comfortable and attractive apartment for 3 days prior to Christmas. Lovely furnishings and comfortable beds/spacious bathroom facilities.
Very good and helpful service from Laurent. Interesting and well placed area with good restaurants nearby.
Great Stay in Paris
We had a great vacation and couldnt ask for a better location to stay. The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable for 4 adults, and Laurent is a very helpful host. Great bars and restaurants close to the apartment, so there is always something to do. Its is also walking distance to sites like the Louve and the Seine river.
We loved our time here in Paris and would stay here again!
A great apartment in the heart of Paris
This is a lovely, very well equipped and nicely decorated apartment very close to a Metro station and in a easy walking distance to Montorgueil, an area where you can find a varieties of cafes, boulangeries (bakery), charcuteries (Delicatessen), superettes, fromageries (cheese shop), poissonnerie (fish shop) and wine shops.
Laurent is very friendly and helpful, and he was there to welcome us.
The only downfall for this accommodation is probably the noise because of the thin and old windows it seems the windows are open at night (even though they're closed) and the streets are noisy...
Despite that we loved the apartment and would return again! :)

Modern, Clean, Spacious, and Good location.
Laurent met us at the buildings front door and carried our bags up the 4 flights of stairs to the apartment. He was very friendly, punctual, accommodating and professional. We entered a newly remodeled two bedroom spacious apartment appointed very nicely, supplied with all of the necessities and comforts for an extended stay. Enjoyed the open airy feeling the large french windows gave. Lots of sunlight in all rooms. A little noisy late evening and early morning with the hustle of the city, however closing the windows shut out the noise so we always got a great night sleep. Water was hot, beds comfortable and appliances were very modern and worked great. Good resource material available and a nice selection of CDs with the stereo. Spent 5 nights there. Very convenient to the Metro and 2 metro hops to Gare De Nord train station. Two to 3 blocks down the street was a great open fresh food market and lots of small sidewalk cafes. Location was great, easy walking distance to the Louve, etc. The apartment accommodated the 4 of us (2 couples) very nicely, lots of room to stretch our legs, and we enjoyed returning to the comforts of the apartment after a long day of site seeing.

A romantic family trip to Paris
We enjoyed our trip to Paris very much, staying in this wonderful and romantic appartment. It was furnished very pretty and exclusively, including perfect details like books, music and movies about the history, culture and sigtseeing in Paris. Laurent (the owner) is a sympathic and nice guy who was always on standby to help. There is no better way to feel like a real Parisian citizen. We are looking forward to return soon!
We arrived earlier than check in and Laurent and his brother Julian very welcoming and helpful..The apt was being cleaned so we were allowed to leave our bags and come back..The place we found to be as advertised..very nicely located to reasonably clothing stores ( located in the textile area) metro very near and easy to use, The only thing was there are lots of narrow spiral steps with no lift to the apt..However both Laurent and Julian helped us with our bags, so it was all good, also no air conditioner, but big/ long windows for fresh air, though at night it can get loud with windows open in bedroom facing the main road Bonne Nouvelle..with that said I would recommend this place and trust Laurent
A lovely apartment conveniently located near the metro station. Close to amenities and is very well equipped.
The apartment is also secure so we were able to enjoy Paris without having to worry about anything.
Apart from the spiral stairs that would leave you puffing in front of the apartment door, but it was very rewarding to be sitting down in the comfortable couch in the lounge and enjoy a cold drink.
A great place this is!

Elegant & comfortable apartment in good location.
Our host Laurent & his brother Julian welcomed us warmly on our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised at how nicely presented the apartment was. Every thing was fresh & clean & well equipped for a comfortable stay. The local shops were close by & people were friendly & helpful & patient with our poor French language skills. The metro is close by & velib bikes easy to access & use. My wife & I & our 2 young adult children loved our stay & highly recommend it.
We stayed four nights in this lovely apartment. The price is hefty, but you really get a lot for it: Very modern, yet very stylish, absolutely complete and very clean accommodation. The photos cannot even show exactly how elegant and high-end the rooms are.
It is situated very central, so nothing prevents you from exploring Paris by feet. However on weekend-nights the location is a biy noisy but only if you prefer to sleep with windows open. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed it much to return once or twice a day for cooling our feet and to prepare for the next adventures in this wonderful city.
We very much appreciated our 9 days stay at 39 Beauregard. We really enjoyed the location, a very short walk to a strategic subway station and food store. Walking distance to many very good bakeries, café and restaurants. The pictures are a true representation of the well-equipped apartment. Laurent, the owner, was there on time to make sure we were ok with everything. We definitely recommend this location to everyone.
Fantastic apartment !!
My wife, our child and I had a wonderful stay. We loved staying at Rue de Beauregard, because it is quiet but central ! We found the apartment clean, complete, with a french bottle of wine and sweets as welcome gifts. It felt peaceful, warm and cosy. The suite is also contemporary and spacious.
The apartment location is great !! It is very near to many attractions and we had L'open Tour (city tour) crossing the street.. Perfect to discover Paris !!
Also very close to Metro (only one minute), and to supermarkets (Monoprix / Franprix..). The area surrounding the apartment is typical and has one of the oldest streets : welcome to Montorgeuil ! If you walk a little further, you will find a famous and amazing shopping area : Chatelet les Halles or our favorite locale : Le Marais. We were delighted to find the apartment as it is described on the listing. Very helpful owners in all ways and easily contactable if needed. Thank you Laurent and alain.

Very nice apartment, well designed, very clean, well kept.
We love the apartment, it was very tastefully decorated, modern, well kept and very clean.the apartment is on the third floor so will need to climb the stairs but you arrive at a lovely apartment so its worth it and its great for the legs. The landlord is also friendly and helpful.
Stylish and spacious apartment in a great location
This apartment is very centrally located, in the heart of Paris. For walkers this is an ideal starting point and it's also a five minute walk to Montorgueil, a typical area with a plenty of bars and restaurants, shops and markets.
The apartment was clean and spacious, with a Parisian character touch.. Lovely place !
The beds were comfortable and the greeting from the owner, so helpful, was wonderful. We felt almost like home. We would stay here again without hesitation. A wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to family and friends.
