LEGACY HOUSE 1 is cared for by OceanEdge in Manzanita—on-site help for renters as needed.Legacy House 1 (upper level only-sleeps 4). Legacy House is across the street from the beach with a splendid view north to NeahKahNie Mountain. Due west, shore pines protect the house from prevailing winds. Enjoy stunning views from the second story living room. The upstairs rents as 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen, separate utility, living room with large flat-screen TV and wood burning fireplace—and two decks. When Legacy House 1 is rented, the lower space will be locked out and not occupied.

We thoroughly enjoy staying at Legacy House. It is a wonderful house with all the items expected in a home, utensils, cookware etc. It is always as if the owners are so glad to have treasured guests staying with them and do everything in their power to encourage their return. The remodeling that is being done is wonderful-- very appreciated.

Celebrated Mother's Day and my mom's 91st birthday here with other family members and friends. We have been enjoying this stretch of the Oregon coast for about 30 years celebrating family reunions and other life milestones. The Legacy House was superb for our latest family event. The only small criticism of the rental was a dirt kitchen oven. Everything else got 5-star ratings. We're looking forward to our next Manzanita beach visit.

OOPS! Dirty kitchen oven?? How'd that happen? It WONT happen again! Legacy House is a great spot for a family gathering. The owners have done much to upgrade this home recently--new sliding glass doors (2 sets), narrower railing distances inside so little hands and heads are safe, work to improve the decks. They are always busy beavers when they visit.

This house had everything we wanted in a beach house, especially during an iffy forecast of the Spring season: dramatic ocean and mountain views, fireplace, beach and wetlands only moments away, very comfortable furnishings and beds all in a well appointed and designed house. We also appreciated the artwork, books, and other personal mementos of the original owners which added to the character and definition of this aptly named Legacy House. Of the many beach homes we've enjoyed, this one is certainly at the top of our list.

This warms our hearts. Legacy House is so named because the current "stewards" of the home are three adult brothers and their families, sons of the artist couple who built the home for their retirement. Each Thanksgiving for year-after-year, the entire family gathers here. The brothers and their families want to keep the home as a Legacy for their children who grew up visiting their grandparents at the beach. They have maintained and upgraded in many invisible ways. The renters can see new flat-screen TV, new living room furniture, even new sliding glass doors. Much more had to do with structure and is hidden from view.

This property has a wonderful view of the mountain and has lots of storage. Very well equiped and good location. We enjoyed our stay at this property and hated to leave. Oh well, back to the real world.
