We stayed at this condo on our first time to Negril and first time non aI. This condo was set up perfectly for two couples.Would be great for a family as well. We each had our own bedroom and our own doors going out onto our own large decks, with an adjoining kitchen that could be accessed from each bedroom. Iris had a driver (Reds) waiting for us at airport. He stopped at a convenience store for us to grab a few things for morning breakfast, and brought us to the condos. We spent the entire 10 days out on our decks if we were at our condo. They were large, and weather was perfect. We had a beautiful lady come in everyday and clean our rooms perfectly. Jim owns the condos and has renovated them as of late and has done a great job. These two condos are on the Gardenia resort. They are at the farther end of the resort and therefore we had no internet. We would go to the Gardenia pool in the mornings if we wanted to get in touch with our kids. This resort is across Norman Manley Blvd but is only a short walk to the beach. We had access to Gardenia resort while we were here. We also had access to SeaWind resort (on the beach)We were provided with beach chairs and umbrella everyday. Gardenia restaurant was closed. SeaWind was open and food was very good. Every dish we tried was exceptional. We went in low season, and Gardenia was almost deserted. The pool was usable, but the pump was not working. Not sure if they start it up in high season. The bar was usually closed, and if it was open, there was only the four of us and maybe a couple other people. We didn't mind being away from the crowds, as our condo was perfect. Not sure how busy it would get even in busy season. Also had some hot water issues that hopefully get resolved. We would definitely stay here again, unless we chose to be closer to the beach and action. But it was never very far away. Excellent Holiday.

Negril is a beautiful and fun place, and Iris's place was perfect.
Set just across the road from the bustle of the Seven Mile Beach, in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Great apartment with a deck in the trees. Great people and hospitality. Can not avoid loving this. -

The service was really amazing. The owners were very hospitable and it really made my trip to Jamaica. The location was very accessible to the beach, yet away from the craziness of Negril tourism. I would happily return for another stay! Thank you.

This was the first time I had stayed in the Negril area, but certainly, it would not be my last. Our stay at the Morass villa was enjoyable and peaceful. I found the room that I had stayed in was clean and spacious with up to date accomidations. The location right across the road from 7 mile beach, gives you two advantages; one, you are less than a half a block from the beach, and two, you are far enough away from the beach and the crowds it brings to have a very peacful and intimate moment at your choosing. Being right in the middle of 7 mile beach, certainly exposes to all the nightlife, as well as, the top entertainers in Jamaica. The beach, itself has, all the activiites Jamaica is known for, scuba diving, jet skiing, parasailing, and restaurants, are located across the street from the Blue Iris resort. I would certainly recommend anyone who is looking for a laid back, earthy, and do your own thing, kind of vacation, with reasonable pricing, Blue Iris is the place to stay. Looking forward to my next visit and hope to see you there.

Blue Iris at Gardenia is a most enjoyabe stay for anyone visiting Negril! The accommodation is acroos the road from the beach in easy walking distance. It's set back from the road promoting a peacceful and restfull vibez. The pet parrot is the only noise guests hear, and thats only when he's hungry! The beds are comfortable, the bathroom clean & modern with plush towerls provided. The kitchen had all necessary pots & utensils,even coffee! Theres a balcony that surrounds the block of rooms and the guests can interact in a laid back environment. Iris & her staff are most accommodating and extreemly knowledgable. This is a supreme property and I hope to return soon!
