Sand Dollar has a dramatic, two-story living room with two stories of floor-to-ceiling windows on the south and a soaring riverrock fireplace on the north. Built-in bookcases surround the fireplace. Skilled craftsmanship and pride-of-ownership mark this newer home with wood floors throughout. An up-to-date kitchen serves the discerning chef. A fun, peaceful place to stay, just a short walk to the beach. Especially loved the hot-tub, a long soak (even in the rain), was something to look forward to on all three nights of our stay. Only issue was that some of the silverware and dishes were still dirty in the cupboards. Very minor, but was the difference between 4 stars vs 5 stars on the cleanliness rating. Everything else was pristine!

10 years of renting vacation homes at the coast, and the Sand Dollar is by far the best property we've stayed in. The home was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a pleasing architectural design. The only thing it was lacking was that musty smell of many of the homes we'd used! The view was nice and the home's accessibility to town was great. Now I'm excited to find out more about the other homes OceanEdge has to offer!

We enjoyed every aspect of this beautiful home! If you cant be right on the beach this property was the the perfect compromise. Grogeous scenery off the deck and a nice walk to the beach and town right around the bend! We highly recommend this great house especially for families!

Sand Dollar is one of my favorite homes. You are absolutely right--this house has everything. The owners have thought of everything and it is a perfect house for couples or a family. You can walk or play on the beach in those winds terrific for kite-flying--then come back and enjoy the sun and warmth on the big, open deck with the hot tub. Sort of the best of both worlds!

Sand Dollar is a fabulous home. It feels like the lap of luxury. The owners have thought of everything. Even the ground floor bathroom with shower opens onto the deck-easy to shower off before getting into the hot tub and a great place to return to when you are dripping wet! We felt lucky to get this great property for our summer stay with our grandchildren. They loved the hot tub and we loved the accomodations and close location to the beach. Also loved the wicker rockers for relaxing on the deck!

Our group (5 adults, 1 child) was very happy with Sand Dollar. The house is spacious and filled with natural light. The furnishings are comfortable and in lovely taste and condition. The house truly reflects the natural beauty of its surroundings. We enjoyed having a wood burning fireplace and the hot tub on the deck was a real treat, even in the rain. The staff at Ocean Edge were friendly and helpful in every way. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Sand Dollar July 5-9. The location was perfect - a hop away from the beach but right on top of a marsh. We enjoyed the birds throughout our stay. And with its location, you don't feel like you are too near any other homes.
We walked down to the beach every morning when the tide was out to explore the pools and play in the water.
The furnishings and supplies for vacationers at the home were great. Plenty of towels and cooking supplies. We loved the layout with the two bedrooms upstairs. And the decoration details were a treat. We hope to come back in the winter and enjoy the fireplace and coziness of the OR beach. -

We cooked our meals in a well-appointed kitchen and ate on the deck picnic table.The hot tub was most enjoyable in the mornings and evenings and the setting was lovely with lots of birds and dragonflies,and it didn't hurt that it was full moon also.The short walk to the beach was so convenient and really felt like a mini vacation even though it was only for two nights.Nice memories all around.
