Description

Large beautiful 7+ bedroom 3,400 sq. ft. home located in west central Montana that sleeps 15 adults in 5 queen, 1 king, and 3 twin beds plus more room for children. We are located at the end of a private road in the middle of 2 million acres of the Lewis & Clark National Forest. This property can serve as your base for big game hunting including elk/deer/bear where you can hunt right out the door. Abundant rivers, streams, lakes and reservoirs are nearby for rainbow and brown trout plus some of the best walleye fishing is just 1.5 hours away at Canyon Ferry Reservoir. Newland Creek Reservoir is just 10 minutes away with a great rainbow trout population. The Smith River is just 45 minutes away and is one of the best blue ribbon trout streams in the state. Or you can travel 1.5 hours to fish the Yellowstone, the Missouri, or the Madison River to name a few.

Snowmobilers can access the 300 miles of groomed King's Hill snowmobile trails right out the door. Downhill skiing is also just 10 minutes away at Showdown Ski Resort or you can travel to Bridger Bowl north of Bozeman just 1.3 hours away. Cross country ski trails are also just 15 minutes away.

Our home is a great destination for family reunions, wedding anniversaries, and even weddings as we can seat 50 people inside the main lodge room or have your wedding outside in our private back yard. Three full size tables are available that seat 8 people each. A fully stocked gourmet kitchen is available for your use along with 2 gas grills outside. Outside we have a fire pit where you can keep warm and star gaze without any light pollution, the stars are absolutely amazing from our back yard.

If you haven't seen Glacier National Park, it is one of the most beautiful National Parks in all of the US. It is just a little over 3 hour drive northwest of us, plan to stay one night in the park to see all of the amazing sights like Grizzly Bear, Bighorn Sheep, Moose, Elk, and Rocky Mtn. Goats all in the wild. The Going to the Sun Highway is a must to see. Or you can travel 2.5 hours southwest to Yellowstone National Park where Old Faithful and the many beautiful sights await your visit.

Our home town of White Sulphur Springs is know for its hot mineral springs baths and is just a 1/2 hour away. They are open 7 days a week for your enjoyment. The Bar-Z ranch is just 10 minutes away where you can book a day of fishing on their 100,000 acres cattle ranch that was settled right around Custer's last stand. The ranch has over 30 miles of fishable rivers and streams where our guests have caught over 70 trout in one day. There are many old ghost towns nearby for you to explore or you can go to an active sapphire mine where everyone is guaranteed to find at least one sapphire in a bucket of gravel.

Right out our door you can hike or mountain bike in the National Forest or take your 4-wheeler exploring on many forest service roads. We have a local population of mule deer that will stroll by our windows once or twice a day. If you are lucky, you may see a moose, black bear, elk, or even a wolf crossing the road near our home.

Our vacation home has wireless internet and satellite TV plus over 150 DVDs to enjoy in two other TVs in the bedrooms. We have a great selection of board games as well to enjoy. The main lodge room is approximately 40 feet by 40 feet with plenty of room to enjoy your family get together or what even the occasion is for your gathering. Our home is at the end of a private road so there is TOTAL privacy and we border the National Forest so access is no problem. We look forward to having you as our guests.
