Located at the waterfront of the beautiful Port Hills of Nelson, The Loft at Villa 10 is a luxurious, private and self-contained apartment within a grand old colonial home. Villa10 is nestled into the hillside above the sea with spectacular views across Tasman Bay to the mountains of Kahurangi National Park.
THE LOFT has panoramic views with french doors that open onto a balcony right above the water. It sleep up to 3 people. One bedroom is furnished with a king bed. There is also a separate sleeping space with a futon. THE LOFT is self contained with a well-appointed kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

Tahunanui beach is a 10 minute walk and the Waterfront cafes are 5 - 10 minutes walk. The city center is just a 5 minute drive. The owners, Jenny and Graham are long-time Nelsonians and live in the adjourning apartment below The LOFT at Villa10. Graham knows all the cycleways and hiking trails in the region and Jenny can suggest all the local art galleries to visit. Parking is available. Nelson airport is 5 minutes drive.

Wellington. . .Fabulous loft with sensational view . . .

My wife and I had a great sunny weekend at Villa 10 - perched on the hillside just down from the port. Near to a couple of cafes and restaurants, the Loft has the most amazing views of the sea and mountain ranges across the bay. The Loft was well set up with a good kitchen, comfy bed, tv/dvd (even iPod dock!).
The highlight though was finding out that Villa 10's host, Graham, is a keen cyclist as is my wife. He enjoys sharing Nelson's bike trails and country roads with his guests, and has bikes to lend visitors or will escort riders on the best routes. Julie had a great outing with Graham to the Vespers Cafe in Brightwater (a 50km round trip) , I strolled to the Waterfront cafe instead for my coffee. Graham offered a shorter ride for me, but I didn't want to cramp their style...!
Anyway, great spot for relaxing - sitting on the balcony in the the sun with a beer and that view- or using as a hub for the city or surrounds. -

I have just returned from a trip to New Zealand and the highlight of our accomadation is Villa 10 in Nelson. We had a fabulous time, the weather wasn't great but it is the perfect place to stay no matter what the weather. It is immaculately clean, the facilities are more than adequate, the views are awesome and overall I cannot recommend it highly enough. The little extras such as lovely breakfast food, chocolates, homemade lemonade, and even a laundry were an added bonus. I will definitely make this a place to stay if I return to this region. Nelson itself is a fabulous town with great restaurants, cafes, shopping, art and a beautiful environment to spend time in. Thankyou Jenny and Graham for a wonderful place to stay.

We spent a week during February at the Loft at Villa 10 and were delighted with our stay. The booking process was easy and Graham emailed informatin regarding car rentals, biking, kayaking and hiking in the area. When we arrived Jenny gave us a very warm welcome and provided a comprehensive tour of the apartment explaining the dishwasher, laundry facilities, internet and television. There were also excellent suggestions provided in the apartment for things to do in the area: restaurants, tours, shopping etc.
We were very pleasantly surprised by the provisions provided for our stay: milk, eggs, jams, honey, cereals, butter and delicious homemade lemonade. Laundry and dishwashing soap was also supplied in addition to bath soap and shampoo.
We loved the apartment and the view from the deck was absolutely awesome. The breakfast bar was a delight for morning coffee. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful ambiance that it provided. We highly recommend The Loft at Villa 10 and feel very fortunate that we were able to discover this amazing accommodation,. We would love to return for a longer stay. Thank you Jenny and Graham for a fantastic week that was a highlight of our trip to New Zealand!

We spent 10 days at Villa 10 this year and 5 days last year and can't say enough about what a great place to stay it is. Beautiful views, every amenity and comfort you could ask for, sparkling clean and a great location. To top it off, Jenny and Graham are caring, wonderful hosts who treat you like family. If you are going to Nelson, definitely stay at Villa 10, you won't be sorry!!

Graham and Jenny were responsive, friendly and provided everything we needed to make our stay in the magnificent loft an excellent experience.
We particularly liked having lots of space, nice bathroom, bedroom and views of the water. It was quiet and there was parking right outside the door. Fabulous home made lemonade and provisions for breakfast was a special treat. The little things in particular such as nice soap, tissues, coffee, tea etc made us feel very much at home. -

This was a peaceful and relaxing stay made enjoyable by a well thought out, clean and comfortable apartment. The views were exceptional and the location was great. Graham was helpful and explained everything we needed to know. We will certainly return.
