This 2,000 sq ft custom built home is located on a one acre property, 10 miles from Nelson, BC Canada on the shore of Kootenay Lake. The open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and walls of glass allow stunning panoramic views of the lake. The 16' by 24' master suite has a King size bed, three headed glass shower and a 42"by 72" air-bubble soaker tub overlooking the beach. The second and third upstairs bedrooms ( queen, double ) share a full bathroom with an acrylic shower-bath. The main floor den has a hide-a-bed sofa to accomodate additional guests. What a treat to spend a week in this beautiful house, surrounded by Kootenay Lake and all that Nelson and area have to offer...Phil's house was exactly like the photographs...Better actually..Nelson was a mere 10 km drive away with easy direct access to and from, and the beach, boats and amenities were perfect. We had the use of Phil's kayaks, canoe and paddle boats, met some lovely people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay...without question, we could have spent another week in this beautiful spot. Thank you Phil for providing such a lovely place for us to relax and unwind!

This waterfront beachfront home was just perfect. Centrally located, just 8mins from Nelson and surrounded by amazing hiking trails, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental in the area. The property is right on it's own private beach allowing for frequent launches of our canoe throughout the day, swimming with our dog and sunbathing under the sun! Fully -equipped with everything you need including bbq on the deck, we were spoiled. We are coming back again this summer!

We had so much fun in Phil's cabin. There were other kids the same age as ours and they had a blast together. The house has lots of room and everything you need and it's very clean and in excellent shape. Nelson is a wonderful secret. Can't wait to go back!
