Boasting a cosy sitting room with an inviting open fire and French windows, this little gem of a building is able to sleep four people in one double and one twin bedroom. This timber clad chalet bungalow is a lovely property situated on the edge of Nercwys village and just two miles from the market town of Mold. Built as a family holiday home in the 1920s, this lovely little cottage has now been renovated to provide modern, comfortable accommodation. There is also a decked area to the rear of the property which is ideal for alfresco dining. The village green and traditional pub are within easy reach whilst the attractions of the wider area a...re also easily accessible.

Amenities: Four electric oil-filled wall-mounted heaters with open fire in sitting room. Freestanding electric cooker with fan assisted oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, video, DVD. All electricity and starter pack of fuel for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Roadside parking for 2 cars to front of cottage. Front lawnd garden, enclosed rear lawned garden, with raised decking area with garden furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Property is accessed via 3 descending steps from road level on to front path.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Situated close to a well-known Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the pretty village of Nercwys boasts a lovely green, an old church and a traditional pub. Set in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd this charming village offers easy access to the surrounding hill ranges and Nercwys Forest – both of which provide wonderful walking, horse-riding and cycling routes. The area is an excellent location for bird watchers and nature lovers due to the Long Eared Owl population and the resident Muntjac Deer. Nearby is the busy market town of Mold which offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants whilst slightly further afield is the Jacobean Nercwys Hall which was built in 1638 and boasts a display of over 20,000 articles known as the Gathering of Jewels.Read more

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  A Luxury Tardis

  It looked like a wooden shack when we arrived, but opening the front door revealed an excellently refurbished cottage, with high quality furniture and fittings. We were very comfortable there, and Mold is an great centre for exploring Wales, as it is in the centre of many attractions, all within easy travelling. We reccomend a pub called
  "We Three at Odds" about five miles out of the town, for excellent meals and bar snacks.
