Our guest house is a totally separate, private, sophisticated, quiet, one-of-a-kind, architecturally designed light filled retreat on Honeycomb Ranch, a non-smoking property located less than 3/4 of a mile from bustling
downtown Nevada City, Views of tall pine and oak trees and meadows can be seen from every room. Hang out on the deck and watch the birds soaring by and the millions of stars at night. The guest house is located down a long private driveway where the sound of the birds and the frogs is often all you hear.

Honeycomb Ranch is one of 4 Ranchettes each 5 acres apart. At the entrance to our driveway, you can begin a walk on a beautiful quiet country road and see everything from chickens and horses to llamas and goats and organic vegetable gardens all within a 3 mile round trip. You can also make an easy walk to town which is less than 3/4 of a mile, strolling past beautiful restored Victorian homes dating back to the Gold Rush days. Off street parking is available on our property. Nevada CIty is full of wonderful shops full of gorgeous clothes, jewelry, books and other interesting items. There are galleries, restaurants, a Saturday Growers Market, a Sunday night film series, a playhouse and just about anything else you might want to see and do.

A great place for a weekend getaway. Enough space for us, our 1-year-old and our teenage stepson. Nice extras for families, a high chair and playpen in the closet and board games and videos.

Perfect location to explore the region: great hikes, good food, and wonderful historical exploration of our gold country. Once nestled in you will feel completely away from it all, but will be 15 minutes walking distance to the quaint downtown of Nevada City where you can browse the stores, eat California cuisine and wine taste from the region. This two bedroom home allows you to nestle in, look out on the oaks and recharge for the next day. Nina can give you great advice on the area, depending on your preferences. You won't be disappointed.
