This detached cottage is located near to the village of New Abbey near Dumfries and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Belmont is a detached former school near to the village of New Abbey in Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms, one twin room and two bathrooms. Also in the cottage is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside is plenty of off road parking and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture. With stunning views all around, Belmont is a lovely family holiday cottage in beautiful Southern Scotland.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire in sitting... room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Lawned garden to rear with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: There is an open gateway onto the road, care to be taken at all times.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  a great location with loads to do on the doorstep (highly recomend the costume museum). i felt the property had been rushed onto the holiday market as parts were un/badly finished and there was not enough/any cooking pots or microwave pots or enough bowls, cutlery etc. i had to re route the t.v ariel and plug as old socket was crackling and the 2nd tv did not have an ariel.the bedrooms could have done with carpets as floorboards had big gaps between them which was sore to walk on and the existing carpets had tacks coming through the edges. the property was not very clean with mouldy fruit under the couch and crisp packets under the cushons of the couch (this may be due to the only bin in the property being in the kitcken)lastly the suspicios asbestos looking board in the garden where chidren wanted to play was unacceptable
