We had a family vacation and came from Houston, Corpus Christi, and Dallas because of the central location to all. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. It was very relaxing and the things to do in the area are extensive.
The only negatives were the neighbor's dogs next door barking at 6:30am, the low ceiling fan on the deck, and the location of the pool table in the garage (too hot to use).
The house was wonderfully furnished and had everything we needed. Locating a grocery store was a little time consuming, but we muddled through. -

The house slept 14 people comfortably and has a great setup. It has places for recreation, rest, and/or reflection...whatever you desire. Also, the location across from the river allowed for easy access.
