We were made to feel like family!

Left on 03/25/2012 for a stay in January 2012

Kieran and her husband JP were the perfect hosts for our arrival in New Delhi, they helped us organise our three days making valuable suggestions and providing helpful tips.
During our stay it was Lori (Harvest Festival) and this is celebrated with extra enthusiasm where there is a child celebrating their first Lori in the house. Kieran and Jp's daughter and their granddaughter were staying and we experienced first hand, family, fun and amazing food.
Thanks Kieran for making our stay so good. I will log pictures of the Lori for you.

We can't wait to go back!!

Left on 02/14/2010 for a stay in November 2009

My husband and I were lucky enough to find out about the Aashiyan bed and breakfast from a friend. In November 2009, we spent two weeks in Delhi using Aashiyan as our home base while we attended a friend's wedding, did some sight seeing around Delhi and traveled to Agra to see the Taj Muhal. Our hosts were very helpful in arranging transportation, suggesting sites to visit and places to shop. The house is laid out very well, spacious in design and has all the comforts of home including: standard showers and toilets. As the house staff prepared our meals daily they inspected it for high quality and used only water from the home's filtration system to ensure freshness. The staff were very trust worthy and made sure we were very comfortable. Our hosts are very well traveled, having family in the US and London, so they were able to see things through a travelers eyes and provide services appropriate for even a first time visitor. From the rooftop terrace we enjoyed late afternoon drinks with our hosts, conversation about the day's events and stories of Indian culture and history while watching a cricket match happening off in the distance. The location was perfect, we were only a taxi ride (EasyCab) away from restaurants, shopping and sights. The house is inside a gated community making it very safe. The evenings were quiet and in the mornings we were awakened to the call of the local vendor selling fresh fruit and veggies. We are already planning our next visit to India and it will definitely include a stay at Aashiyan. The McCoys, Texas, USA

      Enjoyed our stay very much!

Left on 02/11/2010 for a stay in December 2009

We really enjoyed the stay at Aashiyan's place. I have visited many B&B's all
over the world and never had the owners joining us for lunch and dinner. We
had loverly conversations and the Sag paneer was the best I ever had so far
and surely I visited India several times before. I truly liked to stay there. Thank
      you.

      A Fabulous Indian Home Experience

Left on 02/11/2010 for a stay in December 2009

The care Mr. & Mrs. Singh took of us made our stay at Aashiyan a memory to cherish forever. We got five star comforts with the couple’s wonderful company, something one would never get in a hotel. Mr. & Mrs. Singh are immensely helpful with their insight into the matters that concern tourists. One feels so much safe and secure in a huge city like Delhi when the Singhs are so readily accessible for advice and guidance. A stay at Aashiyan is strongly recommended for anyone looking for a true Indian home experience.
