What Past Guests Are Saying
Peaceful stay on the bay
We arrived with 3 couples and had enough room for everyone. We loved the interior decorations and the patio was beautiful. We took advantage of the outdoor fire pit & BBQ each night. We cooked our own fresh lobster from a near by fish market who was recommended by the owner anne (she is lovely!). She even provided huge lobster pots and propane/cooker to cook with for each cottage. We also did some whale watching with Petite Whale watching and saw two humpbacks. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of a two week tour across the east coast. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to recoup and enjoy each other's company. The view was amazing! With private access to the beach and water you will find yourself travelling down to explore and even clam dig if you're keen. Would come back anytime and the rate was very reasonable for what the accommodations offer.
For something a bit different...
I just found these cottages on this site, and wanted to share a review I had posted elsewhere. "Three of the local Red Hat groups rented all three cottages for an overnight get together. This allowed us to visit back and forth and see the similarities and differences in the cottages. Each cottage sleeps 7, and has it's own distinctive decor. One is Victorian, one Contemporary, and one Nautical. There is enough difference among them to suggest a theme in each, but not so much that it becomes overbearing. The ocean side of the buildings have mostly glass with sliding doors leading to the decks. The kitchen in each was well thought out, and stocked with anything we could have needed. The bathrooms were lovely and included a washer/dryer combo. Each cottage was very light, and spotless. Since the location is quiet and on it's own, we were able to enjoy ourselves without bothering any neighbors. The personnel were friendly and helpful, and we even booked in for another stay." This has become an annual event, and a favorite with the groups.
