We came for a family wedding with a party of 6 adults and 4 young children. The place we picked to stay in would make or break our trip, and boy, did it make it!!!
The house was immaculate, well stocked with everything including cooking supplies, clean linens, cleaning supplies, and toiletries. We didn't have to buy anything except our own food. In the past we've stayed in places where there is one grungy pan to use. It's place had nicer pots/pans/cutlery than I have in my own home!
Not only was it clean, but this was seriously my dream home (without the mortgage :p). Huge home with a beautiful ocean view and lots of room both inside and out for the kids to play. Gorgeous wood features, floors, just breathtaking!
We had Harold play his pipes for our grandmothers birthday. That was the highlight of her whole trip. Thanks Harold!
It was great for our family, but I could also see escaping the kids and staying for a romantic getaway with just my hubby. We've rented home/cottages in various places for the past 5 years and this place was our favorite by far!!!

This was a wonderful home that our group of 9 (4 adults & 5 kids) shared for a week. I truly mean home not house. It was clean and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. It has everything you need. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and great to have the washer/dryer. Waking each morning to the site of the ocean is something I will miss dearly. It was also a great central location allowing us to visit Halifax and Cape Breton. The icing on the cake was piper Harold who delighted us with his playing and stories! Thank you Stephanie & Stephen for sharing :)

The shear size of this house is impressive yet it still maintains a casual, cozy feel.
The view is beautiful
Lovely beach to walk with that special someone
The property is not secluded yet it is very private
Three gorgeous wood burning fireplaces (one is double sided and one is located in the master bedroom); can you get more romantic than that?
The screen covered porch makes for a great place to read a book on a rainy day
The house is in great condition; bedding is very clean and luxurious; towels appear to be brand new
If you are cooking while on vacation, this kitchen meets all your needs
It was a great house to spend a romantic weekend with my husband yet I could envision my family of five having a great time there as well

Beautiful, huge home with excellent views. So peacefully and quiet yet a great place to entertain!! The screened in patio was awesome - loved chatting with freinds while watching the sunset and listening to the bag pipes!
The weather was great while we were there so it was nice to be so close to the beach and seeing the fish jump out of the front pond.
