Attleboro, MAPros and cons for our Feb 2012 stay at 1203 The Inlet

Pros: The bed was amazingly comfortable as was the couch. The balcony was roomy and the view very good. The hot tub was welcome but we didn't use the pool so can't comment.
We walked to dinner every night into town. I know, most people wouldn't walk the 2 plus miles to dinner and back but we're walkers and enjoyed using up the calories! 3.5 to the Spanish River Grill and well worth it for Tues night - Tapas! Loved Riverside Grill also! Norwoods was awful.
The cons: There was only a sheer curtain in the bedroom which offered no blockage to the light in the morning and the master bedroom faces east. Through the night I could see the Ponce lighthouse flashing and if I opened my eyes I was looking straight at it. It flashes six times and then is dark for 6 secs. I know. I counted. Many times. This drove me crazy. It was very light both in the morning and through the night. A simple one-track blackout drape would have done the trick. The good part about the night is that it was dead quiet. Loved that. Only the sound of the ocean with the slider open.
The kitchen was good except for the faucet. The tap could not be turned on all the way to 'hot'. It never got more than warm and that was because it was up against the bar/counter and "Whack!" it would hit. I could not pay that much for a top of the line condo and not have hot water in the kitchen! There is simply no room for the faucet if you can imagine. We wanted to just wash our few dishes and coffee cups etc but no hot water! In the end we had to use the dishwasher about 5 times when we normally wouldn't have used it at all. Kind of a waste of money.
There were no instructions for the bedroom TV. Now, we've used all kinds of remotes and sometimes 3 for one TV but this one was beyond us. We tried everything and in the end figuredto change channels by punching in the numbers one by one but couldn't us the 'up' or 'down'. No big deal but just annoying. Directions would have been welcome.

We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return next year. The view of the beach was wonderful, the condo was a great place to stay while in New Smyrna Beach, and the location was quiet and off the beaten path. We had lots of quiet time despite the size of the resort. We felt very spoiled staying at such a nice place but also felt at home.

We love this condo. It's comfortable, beautifully decorated, has a wonderful kitchen, but best of all, the view from the balcony is spectacular. The ocean/beach can also be seen from the large sliding glass doors in both the living room and master bath. The building is located in a gated community at the north end of the island and offers a very quiet and secure setting. The property manager provides a complete packet with very clear check in/check out procedures making the process very easy. There are other property managers for this building but the on-site property manager is the most efficient and pleasant to work with. This was our 5th stay in this building; we wouldn't stay any place else in the area. Some of the things we like to do in NSB - rent jet skis at Ponce Inlet, golf, rent stand up paddle boards, rent kayaks when the manatees are in the area.
